Can anyone help with the query
We are getting credit card expense transactions from the bank ,from there we are importing them to the expense report and after approval it will create invoice in AP. And then AP integrates with GL.
Can anyone help with the query to reconcile a sample expense report with GL, which tables expense report data flows through and which accounts it is hitting in GL.

Even i am facing the Iexpense notification problem. we have 11.5.10 implementation.
even after the approval from by manager through mail i'm not getting the notification. The status of the expense report in the expense home still shows 'Pending Manager Approval'. One of my expense report got cancelled even after the approval. Please help me on this

DBAT Child table Reconciliation issue
I have the following environment
IDM 11gR2 (11.1.2.1) Activedirectory-11.1.1.5.0, Database_App_Tables_9.1.0.5.0. Target Database Oracle 11gR2.
I have created a DBAT connector for the Target Database that is having One Master Table and One Child table.
The issue is that the Target reconciliation doesn’t work.
If I run the reconciliation with a single target table it works fine (setting up a new connector for test) but if I run a reconciliation with a target that is having a child table as well it fails.
Summry:
Reconciliation of a target DB with Master-Child Tables is not working.there is an existing issue with child table recon in oim11gr2

New blackberry curve verizon user here. Successfully added my .edu IMAP account and can send and receive emails.
After reading messages on the curve, they show as read on outlook and on the university's webmail site.
If I delete a message on the curve, it still appears when i access my email through my computer. If I delete the msg with my computer, it still appears on the curve.
In addition, emails sent from my curve won't appear as sent mails when i logon through my computer. same goes for emails sent from my computer first.
Any way to fix this deletion/sent mail issue?Does your .edu account have web access too? Just to make sure there are no problems with your client configuration I would check through web access.
That said, under Messages > Options > Email Reconciliation
for the message service that is your edu account is wireless reconcile on and is delete on set to mailbox & handheld?

Hi,
ACE Reconciliation Task scheduler is not creating events on OIM and we could see that Users are being pulled in from ACE Servers (through RM logs) also the task status remains as Running forever.
Can some one please suggest or recommend a way to debug this issue?

Role reconciliation issue with user ID in acting (HDA) position
Hi all,
I am experiencing an issue with my role reconciliation for user who is in a HDA (acting) position. This user has a 008 relationship to her own position and a A081 relationship to the position she is acting in. Roles are assigned to these 2 positions.
After the programme PFCG_TIME_DEPENDENCY has been run, I would assume the user to acquire the roles assigned to the HDA position and lose the roles assigned to her in her original position. However, this isn't the case.
I am just wondering whether anyone else has encountered this issue and know of a solution to this.

Before PFUD takes place, change of assignment should be done in PA40(automatically or manually depending on your setup).

Use assessment tax reconciliation issue
Hi all,
in my company there is an issue for use assessment tax U1, here is the example:
1. GR-- receive consignment stock
Dr stock 3750
CR Consignment Liability account 3750
2. IR --- invoice vendor ( we use ERS settlement )
DR Consignment Liability account 3975
CR vendor 3750
CR Use Tax a/c 225
In reviewing the detail of Consignment Liability account, this results in a consignment receipt that does not equal the settlement invoice, leaving a debit balance in that account which equals to Use Tax A/C.
I guess my question is shall we calculate the use assessment tax on GR so that Consignment Liability account will balance? how to make this reconciliation work?

How can you calculate the use tax during GR? I dont think it is possible at the stage of GR.
Use can calculate tax only at the time of IR. But instead of posting the tax at the time of IR, it can accrued in a separate account so that your reconciliation does not get affected.

SSH Reconciliation Issue after applying BP4 for OIM11g
Hi all,
I'm facing an issue when trying to reconcile users between OIM11g and an SSH Target resource. In particulare, all worked well before applying the BP4 for OIM11g. I have a custom reconciliation rule that acts as mapper betweek an user's custom field called SSH, in which I enter the specific target account to reconcile, and the field Users.UserLogin of the SSH Form. The rule is specifically defined, through the design console, as "SSH equals Users.UserLogin". Now when I launch the SSH User Target Reconciliation for the specific host, OIM11g creates all the reconciliation events but does not link target accounts to IDM users (Not linked to any user).
Does anyone know how can I overcome this issue? Reading the log it seems to be no one error.

External Bank Setup and Bank Reconciliation Issue

I have a question regarding external bank setup in the Banking module of PeopleSoft. Peoplebooks say that you have to define your external bank accounts so that there are no duplicate general ledger business unit and general ledger account combinations. This will cause issues during Bank Reconciliation. Does anyone know what knid of issues are faced? We are actually planning to use one cash account for all banks for a GLBU. But along with every account there is another chartfield so even if the cash account is the same for a GLBU, the combination of account and the other chartfield will be unique. Will this work for bank to book reconciliation?

Also, you need to do a few set ups before you start using the bank statement facility. You can find this in SET Up> Banking> Bank Statement Processing.
When you check this, you would be able to see the Bank Statement Processing Form in the banking module.
all the information that you might need for the Bank Statement Processing for versions A and B can be found in the Portal under the following path:
SAP Portal -> Support -> Documentation Resource Center -> Modules and Features -> Bank Statement Processing (BSP)

I have problems reconciling a G/L account, the account named Advance payment to supplier.
I used manual internal reconciliation from financial menu.
I choose transactions and the amount to reconcile in LC is already 0 but when i click reconcile there are error "Reconciliation difference must be zero before reconciling". there are differences in SC but i don't think it is the issue. why is this happening?
I also have checked note: 1090457
and run the query in the note. but the account affected is not related.
I'm using 2007A SP 00 PL 49

I have checked the FC amount and SC amount.
The transactions i want to reconcile only in LC and SC, no FC.
The LC is already 0, but the SC there are difference about EUR 8.33. now how to reconcile this transactions?
I also tested to reconcile another transactions with same LC but different SC, and there is no problem. are you sure it is because of the difference in SC? if yes then what is that I can do, I can not create adjustment since the LC is already 0.

So, I deleted and readded my hotmail account to my BIS account yesterday and not the email reconciliation is not working propery.
I am using hotmail, but previously had no issues (other than a 15 minute delay of sending emails to my handheld).
Here is what happens:
I can delete off of my handheld and that will delete off my email account.
In fact, when I read a message on my bb, it appears as read on my outlook account. And oddly, emails sent to my hotmail are almost instaneously sent to my BB (this was not the case before).
However, no changes in my outlook account are reflected on my BB handheld, most importantly emails that I delete on my computer (outlook, or the web based interface) are not deleted on my handheld.
Previously:
There was two way reconciliation for deleting, but emails were delayed by 15 minutes being sent to my handheld. However, when I read my emails on my bb, this was not reflected in my outlook or web based inbox.
I find it weaird that this change just occured when I deleted and readded my hotmail account.

Something must have happened between RIM and MSFT since when I login to my BIS account, there is no longer a Trash Can icon that allows for two way reconciliation as there is for other accounts (gmail etc).
It's quite frustrating because I had two way reconciliation for years, up until June or so.

I'm trying to run an iPlanet User Trusted Recon Task job (Create users in OIM from ODSEE).
I've added Recon fields for the "Xellerate User" Resource Object in OIM Design Console. I've setup all the reconciliation mappings in the Process Definition - Recon Field Mappings. Added code key/decode for Lookup.iPlanet.Configuration under Lookup Definition and Created Reconciliation Rule.

Recompiling packages - RDBMS
I run the iPlanet User Trusted Recon Task and nothing happens, no log gets produced in the oim_server1.log and users don't get created.
Any help is appreciated. ThanksI get the same error when installing connectors. Installed both the SUN DSE and MS AD Base connector now and see this error several times during installation.
Installation says is succeeds though.
Will move on to creating the IT resources now to see if they actually work. -
Flat File Reconciliation Issue

I am trying to achieve the flat file reconcilation. For that, I created a GTC connector with following configuration

In the Configuration Mapping, I created a Status varaible and mapped it to OIM Object Status and changed the Data type of Last Logon TimeStamp to Date.
The Layout of flat file PLC.csv.txt is like this:

The reconciliation is working fine however the record without date is visible in Reconciliation manager. The other record (with date) is not being displayed in Reconcliation Manager.
I can't see any error in logs also. Not sure but this might be due to changing Data type from string to Date of Last Logon TimeStamp while Configuring Reconcliation Mapping. However, I need to have Last Logon TimeStamp as Date.
Please help.

Hi,
Ending day balance is not matching with next days opening balance for AR reconciliation report.
RegardsSome thoughts on what could be happening -
1. Additional activity has been given a G/L date back to the prior day(s). You could test this by doing a manual request of the A/R reconciliation report with the end date of the priior day, and see if that ending balance is the same as it was when the report was run the prior day. If that balance has changed, then that is a clue that something is happening. Maybe something was voided/deleted from the prior day, thus changing what the end of day balance would be.
2. It might be possible that there is an Oracle glitch of some kind. Say the G/L date has both a date/time value on it, rather than just a date value. That could cause the report to fail to pick up records for the ending balance of one day, but get included in the beginning balance of the next day. Not saying this is happening, and would be surprised if it is, but could be a possibility.
My hunch is the first option is most likely. Try doing a manual submission of the report with the same criteria and see if the ending balance is now different from what it was the first time the report was run for that criteria. If it is NOT different, then you would have to find out what tables in Oracle the report is using and start digging into the tables detail to see if you can identify what is causing the difference. This could get pretty challenging, I do admit.
