If a Leopard binary doesn't work is it worth trying the Tiger one?

I obviously asked this question in the wrong forum (sorry) so let me try again here:
I'm using Lion and in trying to make the changeover from PC to Windows one of the programs I use has a Leopard compiled app that doesn't work (it installs but when I click on it it just flashes without running that I can see). It appears there is a Tiger compiled version -- is it worth trying this version?
I know what you're saying to yourself -- why is he asking when he should just try it? Which brings me to my next question -- how do I "uninstall" a program? I went ahead and deleted an app in the applications folder, but that's probably not what I should have done. Windows, of course, has an "uninstall" just like an install -- is there such a thing on the Mac and where would I find it?
Finally, is there some other way of running and/or installing an app to make it work in a different OS? Again, from Windows I can sometimes run older apps by running them in a sort of compatibility mode (like running as XP in my Win 7 machine). I can't see anything in OS X that allows this, but I'm pretty Mac stupid and perhaps that would solve my problem with this pesky program if I could run in Leopard mode.

New firefox doesn't work, how do I get the old one back?

From the email newsletter, I downloaded the new firefox. I said yes when asked if I wanted to replace the one that was there. I then found out that my computer's operating system will not work with the new firefox, and my old one is gone. How do I get the previous version back?

I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit, everything's working fine, I always keep my system clean, I also keep the registry as clean as possible, I have a problem from at least a couple of months, so "Java(TM) Platform SE binary" doesn't work on any website, on any browser, it always crash, I tried everything, I mean EVERYTHING! I've uninstalled and re-installed java a thousand of times, completely uninstalled, removed all files, all registry entries, nothing seems to work..I always get the same message..

Looks like you have conflict with your java home and you are running 2 different JREs. Keep the latest and try launching EM console again and post the exception if you get any.

iWork > Pages
contenant Templates > My Templates
comme il y a un dossier
iWork > Numbers
contenant Templates > My Templates
Depuis le Finder, tapez cmd + f
puis configurez la recherche comme sur cette recopie d'écran.
puis lancez la recherche.
Ainsi, vous allez trouver vos modèles personnalisés dans leur dossier.
Chez moi, il y en a une kyrielle en dehors des dossiers standards parce que je renomme wxcvb.template quasiment tous mes documents Pages et wxcvb.nmbtemplate à peu près tous mes documents Numbers.
Ainsi, quand je travaille sur un document, je ne suis pas ralenti par Autosave.

This problem appears after opening 4 a 5 files, rebooting helps another 4 a 5 times and appears again.

I'd recommend reposting in the Boot Camp forum, that is where the Boot Camp and Windows gurus hang out.

I restarted the computer, but the same issue happens again. When I move my mouse over some object or tool, it doesn’t come active at all (only some of the tools works) When I try to change “site properties”, I can’t choose tablet or phone mode or even I can’t select the checkboxes, only thing what I can do is change the numbers (high and width) . After all the main problem is that I can’t select some of the items or functions by mouse, but only by the keyboard.

How do I get money back on Quickoffice pro as it doesn't work and I cannot email the developers website to ask for support? If you cannot select cells or cell ranges to a sum formula then the software is not fit for purpose and I should be refunded?

I recently purchased Quick office pro HD for my iPad. I cannot get it to add cell or cell references to a simple sum() function. The tool is called a “callout” note. It places a text box with a leader. It’s been working just fine until suddenly it stopped working and I get an error message saying “desired operation cannot be performed on this object”. It doesn’t matter where I try to place the callout. It simply stopped working. I have tried restarting Acrobat. I have restarted my computer. I have used multiple files to ensure the issue isn’t with a corrupted file. Nothing works. The tool simply stopped working.

You did turned in Settings > General > Usage > Battery Percentage: ON?

We can't know if there's a "fixture" because we can't examine your phone. But Apple can. Make a Genius Bar appointment and get your phone evaluated.

You are saying the phone is locked, but then you are saying there is no provider. The two situations cannot peacefully coexist. Contact Apple and they can tell you if the phone is locked and if locked to which provider the phone is locked. People on this board are not Apple employees and cannot get you that information.
