If an iPhone is locked with somebodys Gmail account can you remove the account?
If you have an iPhone 4 and it's locked with somebodys Gmail account is there a way to remove the old account?
Only if you're able to reach the person who set the lock, or if you're the device's original owner(if so, contact Apple).

No. Apple has no part in the decision ot lock or unlock at all. Lock/unlock is 100% the decision of the carrier. Apple has nothing to do with this decision. -

The same way you would contact anyone. Call them, e-mail them, speak to them in person, write a letter. There are many ways to communicate with a fellow human.
No one here would have the contact information for a random seller of an iPhone. -

place the device in recovery mode and restore it to erase the device:
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.

You will need to put the iPhone into Recovery Mode to be able to restore it in iTunes.
To put your iPod/iPhone into recovery mode:
1. Make sure the iPod/iPhone is connected to a computer with iTunes installed on it.
2. Hold down the sleep/wake button(top button) and the home button at the same time until the iPod/iPhone screen goes black then shows the apple logo( usually 10-15 seconds).
3. Once the apple logo appears on the screen, let go of the sleep/wake button and keep holding the home button.
4. The ipod/iphone screen should show an itunes logo and usb cable if you were successful. A dialog box will appear in iTunes that states an iPod/iPhone in recovery mode has been detected if you are successful.
5. Click ok, then click the Restore button
After that you should be up and running in no time!

If our iphone is locked with pass code we can make a call using voice control.
Press and Hold the Home button then you will get the Voice Control Menu.
Choose Dial or Call then you can make call.
Is it IOS Bugs or...It is a feature.
You can disable it at Settings > General > Passcode > Voice Dial if you wish. -
This has happened doing the latest software update. I think I accidentally deleted iTunes before doing the latest update in trying to make room on the phone when it came up with limited space.

Can we import photos from iphone to windows PC when Iphone is locked with passcode?

I am using Iphone 5 running IOS 8.1.2.
I recently connected my Iphone to my friends windows laptop to import the photos and videos.
I observed a strange behaviour. I was able to import photos even when my Iphone was locked with passcode.
Can anyone explain me why and when can this happen?
I personally felt, when Iphone is locked with passcode import should not happen.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

For importing photos I right clicked on my iphone in windows explorer and selected "Import photos and videos" contextual command.
I didn't open it to see DCIM folder.

I am trying to upload photos from my iPhone to my macbook but each time I plug my iPhone into the macbook, a message comes up which says my device is locked with a passcode and I cannot load the photos. Thanks for your prompt response, however I have first seen it now. I have placed an active SIM card in the iPhone turned it off and on. It now says SIM locked, please write access code. The problem is I don't remember the password. When I connect it to iTunes it tell me that I have to write the password before it can be used with iTunes...... Do you have any good ideas? I'm going to make some guesses here. You bought your phone second hand. In other words, not from Apple and not from your carrier. What you got is a hacked phone that was originally carrier locked, most likely to AT&T in the US. You are NOT in the US. (If I get any of this wrong, please tell me).
What has happened is when you updated the software, it was re-locked to the original carrier. ONLY the carrier can authorize an unlock. If it is locked to AT&T, you're out of luck as they WILL NOT unlock an iPhone for any reason.
If it's locked to another carrier, you will have to find out what carrier that is (you can NOT tell by looking at the model number) and find out if they unlock iPhones. If you can't find out, or if they do not, then your only real option is to sell the phone and purchase one from a LEGITIMATE source.
