If Condition in LSMW initially

Hi,
I have to start the LSMW with if condition like
If 'recordtype' = '1'.
LSMW should work only for this conditon. Eventhough that field is not coming in recroding but that is in the upload file.
Please help in this...

This is not the appropriate forum. You need to post this in the data migration forum. There you can get some help on the related subject that is LSMW, what i can do is i can give you a hint, it can be done in the data upload program automatically written besides the LSMW uploads so if you can use that code to derive a program for uploads and in that you can insert an if condition and execute that program, it would be as per your requirements.

when we execute 14th step Idoc generation. I am Facing some problem like its displaying information message
' Partner type does not exist with the name ,'TYPE'.
like this iam facing some problem.
I already created partner profile in we20 clearly..
This is the different requireent ,i never faced this problem earlier.

Import Product Price and Condition using LSMW IDoc method

Hi Friends,
I am working on the Product Import to CRM from flat file using LSMW IDoc method using the "CRMXIF_PRODUCT_MATERIAL_SAVE" message type.
I am able to import the entire product with its required details except the Price and its conditions.
Can anyone please let me know which structure or with message type to be used to import the Product Price and condition using the IDoc method.

I am doing the same thing but only the product gets created and the details like short text, unit etc. do not get populated. The idoc gets processed successfuly. Can you share the fields that are required to be mapped or are mandatory.

Cut-Off Entries in Z-Condition table during Initial Download

Hi there,
I have implemented in our CRM 5.0 / Backend 4.70 a new condition type, access sequence and condition table that uses two Z-fields. The customizing download worked well. I also created an adapter object for the initial download of the condition records. But: When I download the condition records from the Backend to the CRM, the entries of one key-field of the condition table are shortend from "9010" (in the Backend 4.70) to only "9" in CRM!
What can this be???

Finally found the error: In structure ZA0CND_MAPT_ACS_REM_CUST I did not refer to the correct key field that I use in the condition table on the R/3. I changed the ZA0CND_MAPT_ACS_REM_CUST, acivated it and then the initial download worked fine!

Condition Types- LSMW

I am uploading the Condition types , Transaction Code VK11 , Can I use the std " Batch Program RV14BTCI". In which I am not able to map the sales Organisation , distribution channel and division.etc.
Please guide me how to use this Std program.

Hi,
In Field Mapping level, you have to concatenate all the required fields sales Organisation , distribution channel and division and assign to VAKEY.
Example:
CONCATENATE w_vkorg w_vtweg w_material INTO w_vakey.
bkond2-vakey = w_vakey.

Filter condition in ABAP Initial Load Job

 The ECC Initial Load JOb for IDM has been failing continuously because of 'Out of Memory' Exception
Error Description - Unhandled Error in DSERuntime - Exception:java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
 All the FROM PASSES except the "ReadAbapUsers" pass has been running successfully. We believe this could be because of the huge number of Users and User-Role Assignments(2,61,000) present in ECC System.
 Hence we thought of breaking down this process(ReadAbapUsers) into smaller chunks.i.e., fetch all the users with loginuid starting with 1; then 2; then 3 and so on... But we are not sure of the way to implement this. Please suggest an alternative.

Reading stuff from an ABAP system can return a lot entries. The
roles/entries are returned in one big lump of data, and the runtime needs to
have enough space on the heap for this.
Solution
The maximum heap size can be set in the dispatcher prop file.
Locate the the correct dispatcher prop file.
This file is a java properties file. It will be called
"Dispatcher_Service_<dispatchername>.prop" i.e. if the dispatcher name
is "test", the file name will be "Dispatcher_Service_test.prop"
Locate the section
 additional Java options
Set the maximum heap size to the desired size.
i.e To increase the maximum heap size to 512 Mb, set
JAVAOPTIONS=-Xmx512M
You can set more than one java option here, but if you do so, you also
have to set
MXDISPATCHER_EXECSTRING=1
Also note that increasing the heap size has a performance impact. We
therefore do not recommend doing this for the main dispatchers. Instead,
create a separate dispatcher for running large jobs, and do this change
only for this dispatcher.

Creating scale conditions LSMW / COND_A02

Hi,
I'm trying to create multi-dimensional price conditions in LSMW. All works fine, the condition is created but no the scales values.
The idocs finish without any error so I can't find what the problem is.
If any can help me it will be fantastic.

What I have further found out:
- It is not a problem of reduced message types or release:
I have tested it with the standard condition Idoc Type and also on a 6.20 and 7.00 basis release system.
It seems that the report RBDMIDOC filters not valid conditions.

Update price conditions in massive way

Hi Gurus,
I defined a Rappel agreement with transaction VK11. Now i am needing to update this agreement for all customers so i would like to know if its possible to update at massive way instead of one per one.
The field "Customer" is a mandatory field and its only lets you put one customer instead of a range of customers.

Conditions in purchase info records

I need to migrate purchase info records including conditions in LSMW in one step via IDoc or BAPI.
Message type INFREC does not seem to support conditions. I tried to migrate in two steps with INFREC and afterwards COND_A, but I get the error that the condition table (014) is not supported.
Can anybody help ?

Loading custom price condition table

We have a custom price condition table for intercompany price.
This table needs to be updated monthly from a file generated from another system not on SAP.
BDC is one way of doing it, but that takes too much time.
Is there any other simpler way of achieving the same ?

Condition is deleting in R/3 for CRM order change

Hi Experts,
I am Creating an Order in CRM (For Configuraable Material) and I can see Order created in R/3 with all condition records at item level. When I change the Sales Order in CRM, one particular condition record EK02 is deleting from Conditions. I applied 912697, 1225191, 1306890, 1389867, 1388898, 1062881, 1355049 Oss notes to resolve this issue. But there is no use.
Can any one help me to resolve this issue.

Have you set the parameter PRICINGTYPE to G in table SMOFPARSFA as per note 490932 - 'G' = Copy price components unchanged. If so then the only possibility is to debug the transfer to ERP as per note 656823 in order to determine where the condition value is initialized.

Error on Two DML process in a single page by condition

Hi all,
I have a page where i have two forms region on table and two DML processes,
i want to execute these two DML process one by one conditionally, such as initially when page load the second DML process will not execute after page submit, the first DML process will execute and successfully inserted table data then the second DML process will execute.
I have tried to do it by conditionally executing the them one after one by button pressed but failed to do so, when i submit the page its executing two DML process though i have make the second one to execute conditionally.
Any help is highly appreciate.

BDC/LSMW Doubt!

1) Could u pls tell me when to use BDC & When to use LSMW I am a technical Person i want to load data using LSMW Then when to do that? apart from doent need programming effort.
2) My Second Doubt is From LSMW, Suppose i am doing lsmw in development system can i transport the lSMW to Production & upload data to prod server just like BDC
or
I ve to do lSMW in production System to upload data in prod server
Since I am saving i am nor getting development class & transport req, that why.

BDC is basically for customized applications.
In bdc we have to give mapping concept explicitly.
It basically uses recording.
BDC is used by technical consultants , who do coding.
Coding can be done flexibly to customize applications.
LSMW
In lsmw mapping is take care by sap.
lsmw is basically for standard sap application.
LSMW offers different techniques for migrating data say : Direct input , Batch input recording , BAPI , IDOC
LSMW is basically designed for Functional consultants who do no coding .
Coding cannot be done flexibily as BDC.
Yes you can transport in LSMW! There is an import export option in extras of LSMW initial screen.
