If hostnames need to be changed in cluster?

Hello -
I have a cluster in a test, and we need to get the hostnames of the boxes changed. How can this be handled without a full deinstallation? Would nodes have to be removed, then added back into the cluster?

Can I change the public hostname in my Oracle Database 10g Cluster using Oracle Clusterware?
Hostname changes are not supported in Oracle Clusterware (CRS), unless you want to perform a deletenode followed by a new addnode operation.
The hostname is used to store among other things the flag files and CRS stack will not start if hostname is changed.

Hello everyone
Can someone please tell me what needs to be done after the hostname was changed? We have CE 7.2 installed on this host and alredy did this:
a) Changed hostname from A to B
b) Adopted the profiles
c) Adopted the registry (replaced A with B where appropriate)
d) Adopted the windows services
Now we're facing the problem that MaxDB 7.8 is starting but j2ee (jstart.exe) doesn't start (error node 'bootstrap' 503). It seems that the connection to the DB is not working properly.
Can someone tell me where to check / edit the connection properties?

well, after hours of searching around on the web and just after posting my question I now finally found this:

Using the configtool.bat (logged in with windows account <SID>adm and startet it from E:\usr\sap\<SID>\Jxx\j2ee\configtool) I was able to edit the connection string accordingly.
Now j2ee starts up properly.

Delivery Date needs to be changed on Schedule lines

Hi All-
I am using BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE, to update the delivery date on the schedule lines...If I have 2 lines of schedule, needs to be updated the second one ETENR '0002'...
Bapi returns message that successfully processed, when I go back and look at Sales order, I don't se any changes on schedule line..
I am pssing into BAPI, sales doc and schedule line with the delivery date and the flag 'U'..and also I am using BAPI commit...
But, let me know if I am missing something and also let me know is it possible to change schedule delivery date or not?

Please follow this process.
Only specify fields that should be changed
Select these fields by entering an X in the checkboxes
Enter a U in the UPDATEFLAG field
Always specify key fields when changing the data, including in the checkboxes
The configuration is an exception here. If this needs to be changed, you need to complete it again fully.
Maintain quantities and dates in the schedule line data.
1. Minimum entry:
You must enter the order number in the SALESDOCUMENT structure.
You must always enter key fields for changes.
You must always specify the update indicator in the ORDER_HEADER_INX.
2. Commit control:
The BAPI does not run a database Commit, which means that the application must trigger the Commit so that the changes are read to the database. To do this, use the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT BAPI.

Server error - what setting needs to be changed?

I have the problem posted below, that apple.com acknowledges, but there is no specific information on how to fix it. My server company does not know which setting needs to be changed. Can anyone help? My webpage has had no problems for many months--this just happened out of the blue.

It is not possible to change or enter the field while creating an invoice. If you want to enter it in the invoice, you can enable this by means of an User exit. Using the user exit, you can programatically provide the value during invoice creation.
You can try the user exit USEREXIT_FILL_VBRK_VBRP in the program RV60AFZC

I am not sure how ur business is running on. let me tell if u r doing the transaction in the webui are ic agent make sla date fields in display and edit mode based on the authorization or the business role. in case of gui not sure you need to debug and identify the authorization object for that one.

Modem encryption needs to be changed in order for airtunes to work?

I was happily listening to airtunes, closed the mac, opened it and airport express then had a flashing amber light. Now, if I try airtunes it won't work thru my speakers. I can only hear music thru the macbook. I spent a fair amt of time today on the phone with mac support and was told that my modem encryption needs to be changed. Apparently it has to go from WEP to WPA?
Has anyone else had to do this in order for airtunes to work? It was working fine and then poof, gone.

and the girl on the phone was wonderful. We changed the setting from wep 128 to wep 40 and it works!

The Partner no. needs to be changed in tcode - 'vlo2n'. I m trying it out with bapi "BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE".Is there any other BAP or function module to acheive this.

RDP listening port needs to be changed on one client PC - can't connect via Anywhere Access

We have a setup with Server 2012 Essentials and 10 workstations. We have setup Anywhere Access and is working fine. We have one system (Windows 7 Pro) on the network running AADS Server (use to be called XP Unlimited). This allows several users to logon
to that PC remotely at once as well as someone local using it. This PC needs to be changed from the default 3389 port due to the new AADS Server version requiring it. When ever we change the listening port we cannot remote desktop into this PC. It is available
in Remote Web Access Portal but just sits trying to connect. We have allowed the new connection in the Windows Firewall and even turned the firewall off as a test with no luck.
My question is, can we change the default 3389 port connection that the Server redirects you to for one PC on the network? If not how do you change in the Server to look at another local port for RDP once in the portal?

Can you navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SYSTEM, CurrentControlSet, Control, Terminal Server, WinStations and RDP-Tcp. Right click on the PortNumber dword and select Modify. Change the base to Decimal and enter a new port between 1025 and 65535
that is not already in use. Finally click OK.
