So, if you bought an iPad in the US, it would work if you're on STC, but not on any other carrier.

I have purchased a iPad mini online from the Apple store. Since day one I had 2 issues with it. First is that the battery life doesn't last more than 5-6h active usage, and the second one is with the wi-fi. It works properly but after I leave it for a while in sleep mode and try to reuse it, it doesn't want to open a web page or app store or mail (anything connected with the internet search) but it shows that is properly connected with my home network. So I have to turn off the wi-fi connection and turn it on again so it start to work properly. After couple off days this becomed very annoying so I contacted the support via phone and they gave me instructions for return it and that I'll receive a new one without aditional fee. I get the second device in the predicted time but again I have the same issues with the wi-fi and battery life. I will be pleased if someone from the Apple expert team explaine to me what should I do, because I dont find it for normal what is happening. On the Apple official site under the specifications for iPad mini it says that the battery lasts for at least 10h and the wi-fi problem isn't mentioned anywhere. Thanks in advance.

If you want someone from Apple to explain what you should do make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one near you and take your iPad there and talk to Apple. This error: I have just bought an iPad mini and to transfer my contacts, music etc via iTunes on my PC, the PC crashes should not occur.
The best guess is this crash is caused due to an issue with the PC.
Make sure your iPad is updated to the latest operating system: iOS 7.0.4 and make sure iTunes is updated to iTunes 11.
iTunes 11 is optimised for iOS 7, so if you have an iOS 7 device and non iTunes 11 computer, life would be hard.
Try to update iTunes to 11.1.3 from: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Even try uninstalling iTunes and then re-installing. iTunes will not lose any of your iTunes songs when your un-install it as iTunes stores every media item in a folder found in (or around): C:\Users\NAME\Music\iTunes
Obviously iTunes and iDevices work best using Mac iTunes however; iTunes 11 and iOS 7 iPad Mini should work fine.
In summary possible solutions:
1.       Update iPad Mini to iOS 7 or better (iOS 7.0.4)
2.       Update iTunes to iTunes 11.1.3
3.       Restart both PC and iPad
4.       Uninstall iTunes from PC

If bought directly from an Apple Retail store or Apple Online store, and is still within the 14 day return period Apple Offers you can take it back and get a full refund which you can then use towards buying the other version.
If its already past the 14 day period then you won't be able to return it for a refund no.
If you did not buy it from an Apple Retail store or Apple Online Store you will have to consult with the store you bought it from about their return policies.

Bought an iPad Mini, is it new?

Today I bought an iPad mini at a premium reseller. When I opened the box 2 things looked a bit weird:
1. The seal on the iPad itself was a bit loose on the bottom left side.
2. 1 of the pages in the quick start bundle was a bit folded. It looks like it was not aligned with the other documents when the package with stickers and quick start documents was closed.
The box seal looked good to me.
What do you guys think? New or not?

If it was from a top seller it is definately new. Chances are someone wanted to see how it worked so opened the package and looked at the manuel, hence the folded page. It is also possible that someone bought it, then returned it. If the computer is in perfect condition and everything works then there really isn't any need to worry about it. I fit really bothers you then talk to the store about it or return it and buy a new one that is perfectly how you want it.

If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

I bought additional iPad mini and by accident installed as new.

I bought new iPad mini to use as navigation and purchased TomTom € 69,99. By accident I installed as new and then I couldn't use my username. So I used same username incl. @me.com. But now its an different account in iTunes and I cannot install this app in my iPhone and other iPad.
I like to move that app to my original account to use in mmy others devices. What can I do? I don't like to pay again.

But maybe I do not read well or I'm a little stupid but I do not understand how to do this -> then sign into the iTunes app on the computer with both of your Apple IDs and make sure that the software you have bought is on this computer and that you have Authorized the computer to use the software.
My original iTunes account (fwille) has already 5 authorized devices. In my house 2 iMacs, other house 1 and totally 2 ipads and 3 iPhones. So I thinks max. Eventually I've to delete 1 device to add the new one? But in that new account I installed by accident is only 1 authorized now, the new iPad. Sorry if I make you confused but I'm careful not delete or loose my apps in the other itunes account.
I have to install another iPad now with 3G to install that TomTom navigation software. Its again brand new. Whats the procedure when I like to use with same account? Restore from iCloud?

Wifi is wifi (generally) and you should be able to take your american bought device (presuming that's what you mean) to europe and get it online.
The biggest issue you may face is to make sure you have a plug adapter. Your power brick is rated for world wide power variances you'll just need an adapter to make the plug fit eurpoean plugs.
