If i bought an iphone in the us would it work in the uk?!?
I'm traveling to the usa in June, if I bought an iphone 5 would it work when I bought it back to the UK (where I live) and would it Stoll be covered if anything went wrong, could I send it back to apple from the UK and things??
My friend did this with an iPad and I don't know if out was the three g version or just WiFi. It it worked fine in the UK I was just wondering if all the features and the apple store, phone calls texts and everything would still work. I would only be buying the . Is it still covered by warenty and stuff

Have not heard of that but here is what I would do - test after each step to see if the problem is solved
1. Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
2. If that does not work - back up to iTunes and restore to factory settings
3. Check to see if the problem is resolved before restoring from backup -

FaceTime over cellular is dependent on your service provider. It should work over wifi, unless of course your ISP is blocking it.

No. Return it and get your money back if still within the 30 day return window. All US iPhones are carrier locked and cannot be officially unlocked.

I can not confirm this kind of experience.
Even here in Germany, where articles are sold after the U.S. market is supplied, I had no problem buying a Lightning cable yesterday.
There were about 20 to 30 cables available in the customer area alone, not to mention what they perhaps had in their storage.
So why not make a short trip to Munich, Bavaria, visit the Octoberfest and buy a Lightning cable.
What makes me much more angry is that I was told there is no dock planed for the iPhone 5. -

I'm surprised you get no message when you attempt opening the Excel document in Numbers.
I'm assuming Numbers 3.1, since you are running Mavericks.
Does the Numbers file that opens show any content?
Does it contain a table?
How large?
Does it contain more than one tab (indicating more than one sheet)?
Do those other tabs contain a table?
Have you checked those tables for data content?
There have been cases in the past of imported documents opening with white text on a white background, giving the appearance of containing nothing. Check for this by selecting a block of cells, then applying a Fill colour or a Text colour using the Format button (paintbrush).
I'd also suggest attempting to open the Excel files using LibreOffice, which can be downloaded from the linked website.

If officially unlocked, yes. But, your warranty will only be valid in the US, the phone most likely won't support LTE in the UK & you won't save any money by the time you pay taxes & import duties.
