What exactly do you need? iWork isn't actually for sale any longer, the items inside iWork all sell separately now.
Pages (word), Keynote (powerpoint), Numbers (excel) all sell for ~£13.99 each, so if you only need Pages for example, it's quite cheap. -

If you buy a new Mac with Mountain Lion, any included software is free and can be redownloaded from AppStore for that machine only. Some software only gets reinstalled if OS X (only) gets installed over itself to fix issues. See #8 Step here.

If you upgrade to Mavericks usually only OS X itself is changed (sometimes the hidden User Library is also), all the software (and user accounts) also carries over (compatible or not), and Apple's software is upgraded.
So if your new Mountain Lion Mac comes with free iWork, then when you upgrade to Mavericks it will still be there.
If your new Mountain Lion does not come with free iWork, then it won't magically appear for free if you upgrade to Mavericks.
If you need a free Office suit, I suggest you look at the donationware LibreOffice.
You will likely need to control key or right click to "Open" LibreOffice to approve through OS X's "Gatekeeper".
You will need to manually update it also, as it's not on AppStore.

Benefit of LibreOffice is it's completely cross-platform compatible, so you can share working files with Windows and Linux users, which you can't with iWork.
You also should learn Microsoft Office when you have the funds, because it's standardized in the business world. -

In Indonesia, iPhone 5c and 5S isn't available yet. So I will buy a new iPhone 5 in this month. According to the support page (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5913), I will get iWork for free if I purchased Apple device after September 1, 2013. Is it real or I just misunderstand that statement in support page?
Does the Premium Reseller offer a return policy? If you purchased the phone in an Apple store you could return it within 14 days for a refund. If the store you're dealing with offer this you could buy the phone and go through the setup process. You'll soon learn what version of the iOS is installed.
Given that, i would add that it is not wise to continue running iOS 6 when there are no own security flaws. iOS 7 solves those problems and adds the activation lock to prevent thieves from activating your phone should it be stolen or you lose it somehow. -

Will I need to purchase iWork for my iPad if I purchase an iPhone 5s? Everybody knows the iPhone 5s with IOS7 gives iWork for free. I assume that if I buy an iPhone 5s (or 5c) then iWork would be listed as a "purchased" app in my itunes store under my account. My iPad retina is in the same account... or are keynote, pages, and numbers completely seperate between ipad and iphone? I know they would be a seperate purchase for my Powerbook. My iphone 4s cannot join a public unsecured network, but my ipad and macbook can with no problems. I have reset the network settings on the iphone twice. Both times that fixed the problem but only for a few minutes, then I get the "cannot join network" message again. Please help! What can I do?
Anyone have any ideas or information to help with this? Any help and consideration is MUCH appreciated.

I bought a new iPad mini with retina display. I logged in to App store and I didn't download iWorks for free at that time. Later when I logged in to iTunes again, it indicated I need to pay instead of free. How can i get it back for free?

They will probably replace it for free unless they determine it is something not covered by the warranty. Accidental damage such as caused by dropping something usually isn't covered by the standard warranty.
Make sure you back up your files. Although this has nothing to do with the hard drive you might wish to remove any sensitive files first, and have copies of all your files just toi be sure.

Hi, I'm from Brazil and we don't have any Apple Stores here yet, just Premium Resellers and the Carrier Stores.
So, in Apple's reseller in my town, there still are some iPhone 5 boxes lying between the iPhone 4S, 5c and 5s's boxes, as well some old iPhone 4 ones. Leaving aside the comments like "wow, iPhone 4 and 5 souldn't be found anymore" (I know that), do you think if I get one, it will still come with iOS 6?
I think so, becuase officially there aren't iPhone 5 in sale anymore, so it wouldn't make sense for Apple to ship them with iOS 7, because they stopped manufactoring the 5 before the iOS 7 and the new iPhones that ship with it, as well as the 4S 8GB, were introduced.
I'm asking this because I got a 5s and I'm deeply disapponted with iOS 7, and for me it ruins all the great features that only the 5s has to offer, and I'm willing to go back to the last iPhone that could run iOS 6.
PS: the Home Screen printed in the iPhone 5 box is from iOS 6, and we know Apple updated the printing on the 4s to iOS 7.

if it broke because you stepped on it, dropped it etc, you will need to pay for a new one. If it broke due to faulty craftsmanship and your mac is still under warranty, the charger is covered too.

Just make sure you Sync ALL your important Info... Contacts... Music... Etc... to your Computer...
and then do a Restore as New...
i was a bit reluctant at First, because I hadn't done it before... But it was So Easy and am Really Glad I did...
