where I have my cell phone and then I decide when my contract is up to change carriers, will the iPad be able to change, too? Or am I stuck with Verizon as long as I own this particular iPad? Thanks!

System data is the OS or operating system. That is where the recovery stays separated from the rest of the storage so that it doesn't get corrupted. It is not accessible and non-movable.

Sounds like the device was dropped at some point and damaged as a result.
Take it to Apple for evaluation and a replacement.

Like you mentioned, she bought it from the Vodafone store and most likely the phone is locked to Vodafone. But, in your case since you are using the same carrier's SIM card (Vodafone), "unlocking the phone" is not an issue. As you have already tried restoring the phone (which technically wasn't required) and SIM change, your best option is to take the phone to Vodafone store and ask them to activate it for you.

It does not have to be an active SIM card.

When I try to set up a cellular data account on my ipad 2 with verizon, I continue to receive a "password too short" message. My password exceeds the minimum characters specified and has four numbers. Anyone else getting this infuriating response? Thanks

You can send over WiFi, but it sounds as if you need to setup your Gmail account, or did you do this already?

Verizon E-mail not working on Cell Phone

When accessing both of my Verizon e-mail accounts thru my Android cell phone, I get the following message, Couldn't sign in, The password for XXXXXX is incorrect. Please enter the correct password". My passwork works if I access my e-mail from my desk computer. To the best of my knowledge, this started around 01:00 today.
I called the 1-800 number and was told that some areas are experienceing sign in issues.

What make & model phone are you currently using? Have you tried accessing your email on a desktop computer using the same password? Are you able to access your email. If you are experiencing log in issue on a desktop, I would recommend to reach out to Verizon Fios.

I just learned from your support rep, that Verizon Safeguards service does not work with the iPhone!. Under my Services under Verizon Safeguards, I get the following message: "Not available for this cell phone number". You gotta be kidding me Verizon...really.
I want to be able to use Verizon Safeguards and block calls a txt from specified numbers, like I have with every other phone I've had with Verizion!
PLEASE, ADD SUPPORT FOR THE iPHONE.

This is apparently a known issue, there are a few other threads on here. But I had a chat on here with a Verizon rep who said that they personally had numbers blocked on their iPhone4 and that it had to be done through Customer Care, which if you log on to MyVerizon, the number is under Support --> Contact Us. Who knows if it actually works.

I am completely confused! Have bought new iPad and iPhone 4s..... Previously had 3G. Bought match and been uploading massive music library to iCloud. Is this a mistake given I live in area where there is lack of reception? Also, lots of tracks in iTunes show cloud as "waiting". Surely it will take me ages to download all these tracks? Is possible to have them on phone and iPad and iCloud without the download? If there are lots in waiting should I just switch iCloud off? I'm thinking that with iCloud on all the music is still on my hard drive so is there any easy way to add to my Idevices? Sorry, I have read a number of discussions and am none the wiser, help much appreciated!

Can I use two ActionTec routers with Verizon FiOS if they have two different revisions?

I want to add a second router to my coax cable and I know about configuring them already. But my main router is Rev. I and the second is Rev. G. Can I still use the second one? If not is there a way around it? My main router has been lower letters before but I've just gotten replacements and now it's at Rev. I. If that matters lol... Thank you.
