When I buy an Iphone 5s t mobile contact free, it's availible to use in other countre?

mobile contract free is not the same thing as factory sim unlocked
if it's not factory sim unlocked it will require to be unlocked by the mobile company it's sim locked will or it will not work with other sim cards from the country it was bought or another country

    I buy 01 Iphone 5s t-Mobile, can i use At vietnam

If the device is not locked to a carrier (contract free is NOT the same as being unlocked) then it will work with any supported GSM carrier world wide.
Keep in mind that warranty and support are not International.

  • Hi, I just wanted to buy two iphones from the apple store usa with a lebanese credit card. Is it possible?

Hi, I just wanted to buy two iphones from the apple store usa with a lebanese credit card. Is it possible?

The US Apple Store accepts US-issued credit cards only. And they will ship only to a US address. Whether or not a physical Apple Store would accept a Lebanese credit card I don't know.

  • Is it possible to buy an iPhone 4s unlocked in the US, and then use it normally and completely in France with Freemobile ?

Is it possible to buy an iPhone 4s unlocked in the US, and then use it normally and completely into France with Freemobile (which provides micro-SIM) ?
I'm travelling to NYC tomorrow and that would be 100€ less than in France...

Thank you for the quick answer
Do you mean that I can't reserve and pick up my phone in the local apple store as it's explained on the site (http://www.apple.com/retail/iphone/) ?
What about the social security number asked in the formulary ? I've got a French one...
    Puzzled...

  • If I buy an iPhone 5s unlocked from a USA apple store will it work in the UK

If I buy an iPhone 5s unlocked from a USA apple store will it work in the UK

Only if it is unlocked, and they are not selling the unlocked iPhone at the Apple store yet.
EDIT:  I'm sorry, I missed that you referred to iPhone 5S. There should be an unlocked 5S, and it could work in Malaysia, but probably not with all of the bands there. Also, the warranty for the device is good only in the US.

Can you unlock my Iphone 5 t-mobile of USA? Thank you very much!

No. The only one that can unlock the iPhone is carrier hold the lock.
    Ask T-Mobile to unlock it.

  • Which Mobile Networks Operator could be used to send SMS through SKYPE in China?

Which Mobile Networks Operator could be used to send SMS through SKYPE in China?

I actually found a workable solution, based off of your suggestion.
Sprint has partnered with Google to integrate native Google Voice onto the iPhone, using your existing Sprint phone number, for free. The only downside is, you loose visual voicemail. But, you can set Google Voice to transcribe my voicemails and send them via email, which I hear can be quite funny when it gets it wrong.
But, not being a fan of Google's "all or nothing" approach, where they take over all your sms, voicemail, and calls, I opted to set up a free account and use Google Hangouts app to make outgoing calls. Using it this way, with out applying for a Google Voice number, or switching  my Sprint number over to Google, the caller ID just says "No Caller ID", which is ideal, since having an additional phone number pop up, might lead to confusion as to which one to use to contact me.
So, thanks for pointing me  in  the right direction.  It's not perfect, as I imagine many friends will kick me over to voicemail when the see "no caller ID" pop up on  their phones, but it'll get the job done.
    Problem solved.

If i buy a Cellular iPad mini 3 in USA can I use it in the UK?
Could I use a UK SIM card in the UK after buying a cellular iPad in the USA?

Apple does not take trade-ins. In a few countries Apple does work with a company who will give you some return on an existing device; for the US, see:
    http://www.apple.com/recycling/gift-card/
Similar programs are available in a few other countries, and some dealers may have their own trade-in programs. But you most probably can get more for your device if you sell it yourself.
    Regards.

  • Can i buy an iphone 4S in US mainland back to be used in China?

Hi, I wonder if I can buy iphone 4S in NY and take it back using China mobile network in China mainland?

The iPhone 4S is a "World Smartphone" if you are planning on using the device in both countries on a regular basis, it is best for you to purchase it Factory Unlocked. If you buy from a carrier over in the US, you must go to them and request a code to unlock it and it's based on carrier discretion or pay international fees. If you are unsure, it's best to call not the carrier, but Apple Sales to assist you with your purchase inquiry.

  • If I buy an iPhone in China will I be able to use the UK app store with my UK iTunes account?

I am working/living in China, and I want to buy a new iPhone. A friend of mine bought a Windows 8 phone and he discovered that the phones, apparantly all of them (across all brands) are region locked, app store wise, to China. So he can't download apps like Skype for example. I want a new phone but I'm worried that if I buy an iPhone here in China I won't be able to access my countries store. I have an old iPhone but it was from the UK so I know I can access the UK store in China. But the issue is, is that will the Chinese sold iPhone only access their own store and no others like the Chinese sold Windows 8 phones?

    Hello Rick19992000,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. Look at your question I can say that yes you can change stores. The following article will walk you through it. I also highlighted the specific portion for you.
iOS: Changing the signed-in iTunes Store Apple ID account
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1311
Sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you'd like to use. Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
One last bit of advice is to check to make sure that certain features are going to be present when buying from a different region. You can compare by going to the different regions at the Apple Choose your Region Page
    http://www.apple.com/choose-your-country/

  • Buy an iphone 5s (t-mobile)

can I ask u a question. My relative is going to buy an t-mobile ip5s on Dec 2013. Can I use it imediately in Vietnam or I must use t-mobile sim 40 days and activate it later

If it's purchased directly from Apple, it's unlocked. Phones purchased from T-Mobile are locked and must have at least 40 days of continuous service on their network before they will authorize unlocking.

  • Where to buy an iPhone 2g... and a question about using it

ebay worries me... plus there are thousands of phones for sale.
Is there any reputable place that refurbishes the iPhone 2g and sells them?
We're ATT gophone customers now... will I be able to use the iPhone as my gophone by merely transferring the SIM? Or asking ATT for a new one?
Do I have to activate the phone with ATT to use Apple's iphone app store?

    mwischmann wrote:
You would not be able to simply switch the SIM cards. You might be able to keep the same number though. You have to sign up for the special iPhone plan (with unlimited Internet).
That is true. First, GoPhone plans are different from iPhone plans. You must cancel the GoPhone plan and upgrade to the iPhone plan. Right now, I am uncertain if AT&T or whatever your provider still offers plans for a refurbished 1G or 2G iPhone, only because Apple has discontinued them. When and if you get that far, you must (and i mean must) sign up for the Unlimited Data plan, only because Apple requires it. You will have to pay extra for that, basically the luxury taxes of having an iPhone. And, in response to your post mwischmann, you will be able to keep your phone number, because they transfer that with the SIM card.

  • If I buy an iphone in Spain, will I be able to use it in the US when I go back?

If so, what would I have to do?
I will get a contract here in Spain, but I'd like to continue using it once I return to the States.

talk to the place you buy it from about the options to get it sim unlocked
it's not an apple issue but a phone company issue
and of cause it being in spain mean it's gsm so you can only use it with att in usa

  • If I bought an unlocked iPhone 4S from the U.K. could I use it in South Korea?

I from the U.K. andI want to get an Iphone 4S, but I am currently living in South Korea, and I wanted to confirm whether the iPhone 4S is compatible with the technology that the South Korean networks use. I understand that the unlocked Iphone 4S is a 'world phone', but this does not always mean that it be used in every single country.

Yes, you can, but you will have to register it with the carrier first, it's actually quite painless.
You can read up on the process here:  http://expatblog.kt.com/71
They also have a twitter that answers questions in English:  @olleh_expats
    Hope that helps.
