If I buy and iPad2 now, will I be able to get ios5 or should I wait until the fall to purchase?
I am buying a gift for Mom and wondering if I should wait for ios5 or is it easily downloaded once it is released?
The update will be free, and I've never had a problem with any iOS updates on my iPad (some people have but it's a small minority who do). As long as you've got a decent wifi connection to download the update to your computer you should be ok (the last update was just under 600 Meg). As no official date has been released yet for when iOS 5 will be out (apart from in the Autumn), it may still be 5 months away.

Unfortunately, neither does anyone else because Apple doesn't tell us in advance. Also, speculation is not allowed by the terms of service for the forum.
That means you have to use the usual criteria for computer upgrades. If not upgrading your computer will cost you more trouble or money than upgrading, then you upgrade now regardless of what it coming because you or your business literally cannot afford to wait. But if you can afford to wait, then you wait.
One thing that might help: Apple does have price protection for (I think) a couple of weeks after a purchase, so if you buy and the price drops you can ask Apple to refund the difference. The details of this policy, and also of the full refund policy, are on the receipt when you buy. (There are separate policies and time periods for exchange, full refund, and price protection.) -
Will I be able to get Windows 10 again if I cancel the reservation for now?
I have already reserved my Windows 10 upgradation in windows 8.1. But i want to know if i can cancel it for now and get it after sometime.

Sync your phone first to create a current backup, then hit the "Restore" button on the Summary pane. This will restore the phone to a state just like it was when first taken out of the box. Eject when finished. Do not sync after doing this. Test to make sure your camera is working. If it is, you've got a decision to make. There could be corruption in your backup that caused your camera issue, and restoring from backup will merely restore the issue. If you want to restore from backup, on your phone: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. You can now restore the backup you created when you started. In either case, you sync to restore your iTunes content.

I dropped my iPhone 4s and the back cracked and it now will not turn on. I was wondering if anyone could give me an estimated price to fix it. And I do have insurance on it with best buy. I'm on Verizon's phone plan so I don't know if it would be cheaper to have it fixed with Best Buy or Verizon. I cracked my iPod a little bit ago and got a refurbished one for free with the insurance on it but I don't now if it would be different because it is a phone. I don't know really anything about this stuff so any information that could possibly help me is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
That's only for the iPhone 5. On the 4 and 4S, they can repair the back glass in store for $30. They will not replace the display on a 4 or 4S. They must replace the entire phone. Replacing the display on them requires disassembling the entire phone, which they will not do in store.

I plan on buying a new I Pad wit wifi and cell from Apple. But I don't want to select a cell carrier right now. Q 1: Do I have to select a carrier at purchase? and Q 2, In the meantime will I be able to get on line at home using my Cox Internet wi fi? Thanks.
Thanks for the help. Now I can feel comfortable in not having to sign up for cellular when I buy, esp. Since I'll be using my new IPad mostly at home on my Cox wi fi. Then I can see, in using the i pad, how often I'd actually use the cellular, and where. This can help decide which type of cell plan I get. Small problem it may seem, but a very helpful answer. I have a older Nano, I think I got it in 2004 or 2005 and I have a sad iPod icon, and it seems like my battery won't charge, the low battery icon appears but never seems to do anything. If I buy a new iPod will I be able to transfer my songs and playlists to the new one easily? Thanks.
If you are using automatic syncing to load the iPod, all songs on the iPod are in your iTunes music library. So, you won't need to transfer anything from the old nano. Just sync the new iPod from your iTunes library the same way.
If you use the Manually manage music setting, AND there are songs on the iPod that are not in your iTunes music library, you will need to off-load songs to your computer first. You cannot transfer song files from iPod to computer using iTunes (except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store). However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer" you should get some links.

New computer, downloaded a program and it now will not uninstall program
I recently just bought this laptop and I downloaded Windows Office 365 proplus, (basically it says office 2013 version in all of the programs,) package from my schools website for me to do school work. I ran into an issue first with being able to log into the program for verification to be able to even use the program, so I dug out my disk that I own of the Microsoft Office home and student 2010 version and installed that as well on my computer from my disk. This program works for me so I went to unistall the 2013 version on my computer and it first popped up a box that I honestly do not recall what it said but it gave me 2 options to unistall program, I chose 1 option and hit accept. The Microsoft office program is still on my computer, it never deleted/unistalled, and I have tried waiting for a day with computer on, I have tried restarting, I have tried shutting down and starting back up computer, but everytime the program is still there and I try to uninstall again and it will not let me do anything, when I double click on the program and unistall button the following message appears "Please wait until the current program is finished uninstalling or being changed" Can I please get assistance to delete this off of my computer because I do not want it and can not use it. Thanks.

I have created an iPhone app using xCode and am now ready to publish it. Do I have to sign up to the $99/yr program in order to get a certificate? I keep getting the error message: CodeSign Error: code signing is required...although the app tests fine on the simulator. Does this mean that I need to pay the $99 to create the app or do you only need to pay if you want it published on iTunes?

the screen of my ipod cracked so will i be able to get a new one but i left my ipod in the locker and my mom is planning to go tomorrow without the ipod to the apple store but we still got the case of the ipod from the first day we cant find the receit though
1) you can get a replacement one, though you might have to pay the out of warranty price for the device (normal iPod touch 4th gen 8g = $99)
2) If you don't have the iPod itself, its is highly unlikely they'll replace it since you won't be handing the original over (since its in your locker) -
After updating iOS 8.0, I only see a black screen on my iPad 4 asking for a 4 digits passcode, I've tried severeal times and now every time I try I get this message "Ipad dissable wait 60 min... I do not know what to do???

It sounds like you’ve recently updated your iPad and now it’s disabled because the passcode you’re entering isn’t being accepted. I can imagine that would be frustrating. Take a look at the article linked below, it describes the alert you’re seeing and provides the possible resolutions for that issue.

I just restored my Mac HD from a time machine back-up and PS 4 Will not open. I get an error code 150:30. Any Idea what I should do ?
Photoshop's licensing information might have lost when you restored it to new HD. Re-install Photoshop CS4 and enter the same serial key for PS CS4 which you used before.
