If I buy Final Cut Pro X on my Macbook...

If I buy Final Cut Pro X on my Macbook, can I use it on my MacMini or future Macbooks?

Yes, if they meet the system requirements for it. Sign into the Mac App Store with an Apple ID used to buy it and download it from the Purchases tab.

IIf you are signed in to the App Store with the Apple ID used to purchase the software, you would need to contact the App Store.

According to Apple, Final Cut Pro 7 require 10.5.6 or later so it should be compatible with 10.6, 10.7 0r 10.8.

An Internet search will produce many sources where you may obtain Final Cut Pro 7.
Should you have more queries regarding this topic, I suggest you post them on the Final Cut forum in the Professional Applications section.

  • Can I buy final cut pro using windows OS?

can I buy final cut pro using windows OS, then install it in a mac in other state?

Technically yes, as long as you use the same Apple ID on both machine's to purchase it and to download it. The Mac in the other state will have to meant the system requirements for FCP.

  • I want to buy final cut pro and install on 2 of my macs

I have a airbook (2014) and a macbook pro (2013) I want to buy Final Cut Pro. It might be a stupid question but I am new here, do I need to buy 2 seperate licences ?

If you buy it from the Mac App Store, it will show up in the "Purchases" tab on the Mac App Store. You can download it for free from all of your other Macs by going to the "Purchases" tab on the Mac App Store after you have bought it.
I hope I answered your question.

  • Itunes Store Won't Let Me Buy Final Cut Pro X

I am trying to buy Final Cut Pro X but every time I click on the Buy App button I get a pop-up saying that I need to contact Itunes Support, which is another story.
I wan't to begin to play with the software today prior to training but it looks as though that won't be the case.  Does anyone have any thoughts on what the issue might be and how do I correct it?
    George

There is no way to telephone the Itunes Store.  You have to go by e-mail support.  It may be an account problem but they should tell me that.  I am waiting on a e-mail from them.

  • How to buy Final cut pro?

Hi, I can't seem to buy final cut pro X. When I try, the apple store tells me I need at least 4 GB to download it. Thing is, I have 96 GB available. I don't understand what I am supposed to do. Do you have any advice?

The minimum requirements for FPX can be found here:
    http://www.apple.com/final-cut-pro/specs/
The short of it is - you need to be running osx 10.9, have 4 GB of RAM and have an Open CL video card.
If your system does not meet those minimums, you are wasting your money to purchase the app.

  • I need to buy final cut pro software  and i need it to support arabic writing the problem iam in germany  the  i tune here does not

i need to buy final cut pro software  and i need it to support arabic writing the problem iam in germany  the  i tune here does not give you chance to choose the
    language

If you want the menus and dialogues of the app to be in Arabic, that's not possible, there is no Arabic version of this software.
If you just want to write Arabic language titles, etc., the language of the app is irrelevant, the input of different languages is handled by the OS, and Arabic input is always available.
All Apple software is multilingual, no matter where you buy it. For example, the user interface for Final Cut Pro can be switched among English, Chinese, French, German, and Japanese.

Update the software. There is no reason to run a two year old version.

You don't meet the minimum requirements - your issue is your video and processor.

  • What do you use to speed up final cut pro x on my macbook pro early 2011?

what do you use to speed up final cut pro x on my macbook pro early 2011?

I  don't use anything to speed up FCP X on your MBP.
Seriously we need statistical info on why you think it needs speeding up.
Poor performance is often associated with incorrect usage, lots of other apps open or a hard drive that is more than 75% full or fragmented.
Ideally all the media should be stored on an external hard drive and not the MBP's.

  • Is it usefull to buy Final Cut Pro X for making music video's or not?

Right now I'm using iMovie 11. I can put the audio an the video togheter and stuff but thats kinda it... So if I wan't to use more effects and stuff should I buy this?

I think FCPX is very good for short-form work like music videos, and definitely a big upgrade to iMovie. Additionally, the interface is similar so you'd have less of a learning curve.
There's a ton of hidden power though, and you probably would need to follow some tutorials and/or read instructional material in order to really be able to use the software efficiently, and understand what it has to offer. Many people have given high praise to Ripple Training; there's also some free training available at: http://www.izzyvideo.com/final-cut-pro-x-tutorial/ that can get your feet wet, so to speak. And I know Mr. Wolsky is working on a book that would be great to have, once it comes out.
At the moment, there are still a bunch of bugs that need to be ironed out, which you can read about on this forum. If you are willing to deal with a beta-quality product that has lots of potential, I'd say go for it. The most important thing to remember is to have a way of backing up your projects so that in the event you are hit with the worst of the bugs, you can still recover work.

  • Should i buy Final cut Pro X, or is the program bad?

I have downloaded the trial, and it works great...I read reviews that it slows down in the actual version. They say there is a lot of missing features. Should I buy the Final Cut Pro X, or try to buy FCS3?

If you like the trial, you'll love the application.
Don't listen to all the bad reports - believe in what you see for yourself.
I've used Final Cut Pro professionally since FCP 3 and I can tell you FCP X is an awesome application - it's saved me hundreds of hours of editing, and I love using it.
If you buy the application, your Events and Projects will still be there for you when you launch it.
    Good luck!
