If I buy any Iphone from Apple Store, can I transfer it to Virgin Mobile? Because Virgin Mobile for Iphone is expensive than regular price. So I favor to buy it from Apple Store. Can anything I get it to Virgin Mobile??

When you buy a phone from the Apple Store, they are going to automatically attach it to a carrier. I'm not sure if you're with one right now but either way this is the case. The price you're paying for the phone is relative and I'll give you detail as to what that means.
Virgin Mobile: No contracts and month to month
iPhone Cost (32GB: $649)
Verizon: 2yr Contract
iPhone Cost (32GB: $299)
Monthly Bill: $100 (All in)
Now understand the math here. Over 2 years with Verizon, you'll be paying ($100 * 24months) + $299 = $2,700. So you're locked in for 2 years. You'll have to pay a termination fee if you want to leave early which I'm sure will equal so some of the amount balance of the phone for what Verizon bought it at. You're paying less upfront but more over the long term.
With Virgin you might end up paying $649 up front but since there are no contracts, you can leave anytime.

If you do not have a US billing and shipping address, you can NOT purchase an iPhone from the US Apple web site, if that's what you're asking.
If you are physically in the US, you need to know that #1. Unlocked iPhone 4S will not be available for purchase until some time in November. #2. The warranty is NOT international. If it breaks, you will not be able to get it serviced anywhere but in the US.
As for taxes, you will have to pay sales tax in the US. As far as any duties on the phone are concerned when you take it home, you'll have to inquire of your government for the answer to that. -
iPhone3G is now available direct from Apple Store in HongKong. Will Apple ship to anywhere outside Hong Kong, even if the buyer pays for the shipping charges? Has anyone ordered an iPhone from Apple Store Hong Kong?
I think this is doubtful.
I don't believe Apple ships iPhones outside of any country where it is sold, regardless if sold as unlocked in a particular country. AFAIK, the iPhone sold in each country must be purchased at an Apple Store if there is one available, or via Apple's designed provider or approved sales outlet in each country. -
Buying iphone from Apple store for use with various carriers
If I buy an iphone 4 from Apple store (not subsidized), can I use it with Virgin Mobile's no contract plan? Or do I need to buy it from Virgin Mobile?
And If, after a month or two, I decide not to use Virgin Mobile, can I switch to another carrier using the same phone? or do I need to unlock it or whatever?
I guess what I am really getting down to is this: I want to choose Virgin as carrier because there is no 2-year contract locked in, i.e. flexibility to switch, and I am willing to pay full price for the phone. But if, for some reason I don't like Virgin's service, or they to raise their monthly fee so that it is no longer competitive to ATT, VZ, etc., I want to be able to switch to another carrier with the same phone, and not have to sell it on the 2nd hand market.
I know I can just purchase the iphone 4 that Virgin offers for 350. But if it only works with Virgin and no other carrier, then what is the point of not having tied into a contract? The phone is useless unless I use it with that carrier.
I have not asked Virgin this question yet, because what I really want to know is, if an iphone purchased in an Apple store can be used "universally" across all carriers. I kind of understand there is a different standard that ATT use as opposed to all other carriers, but I am hoping to find the definitive answer about iphone compatibility for all carriers that offer the iphone.Spiral Aim wrote:

You assume correctly that Verizon and Sprint are CDMA. However, no CDMA carrier will activate a device sold for a network other than their own. In the "CDMA world" there is no such thing as an unlocked device.

An unlocked GSM iPhone can be used on TMobile and any other GSM carrier in the US, there are quite a few regional GSM carriers and resellers (like StraightTalk). Not all features are supported/work and it's up to those carriers to get them working.

Now this is where it gets confusing, kindof.
The iPhone 4 is GSM or CDMA only.
The 4S and 5 are World phones meaning they have GSM and CDMA antenna's. A CDMA 4S or 5 can be unlocked by the carrier (Sprint, Verizon, Virgin, etc) and activated on a GSM network. Generally the carrier will only unlock for International carriers for the purpose of using GSM when the user is traveling and there is no partner CDMA carrier network for the user to roam on. -

Not covered by warranty. If you make an appointment at an Apple store, you will be offered an out of warranty replacement. Cost is US $199 for an iPhone 4S.

Warranty is ONLY valid in the country where the device was originally sold by Apple.
The ONLY exception is for devices sold in the EU, as warranty and service can be obtained in any EU country.
The warranty on the iPhone is not International. -

As long as it is sim free with no subsiby to a carrier, then yes you can slot any sim in and use it anywhere. And yes the Apple stores in the UK sell factory unlocked phones as long as they are not connected to a carrier as Apple sell those as well.

Was shipped today, October 8, but I don't know if this "GSM-CAN" means taht is locked or unlocked!
I BOUGHT AN UNLOCKED!"GSM-CAN" means that it was a GSM iPhone sold in Canada. It doesn't indicate anything regarding lock status. If you purchased the iPhone from the online Apple Store, then to the best of my knowledge, they don't sell anything other than unlocked iPhones.

Of course it changed. A phone's IMEI number is unique to each phone. The IMEI number for a phone does not transfer to another phone.
Since your iPhone was exchanged under warranty without having the box and bill for the original purchase, you don't need it now either. The exchange under warranty remains under the warranty for the original purchase. -

If after ALL 4 steps your phone still doesn't work, you've no choice but to have your phone serviced by Apple. As you've found out, the iPhone warranty is NOT and has NEVER been international. You'll have to send your phone to someone in the country of purchase to bring your phone into Apple--and then to have that person send the phone back to you. -

First, epub has nothing to do with size, it is a file format that is popularly used for ebooks, but ebooks published in epub file formats vary greatly in file size.
It will depend on where you buy it. Many books are DRM locked (Digital Rights Management, a software lock). If so, in order to load it into another companies reader or reader software, you need to use something like Adobe Digital Editions to "authorize" the book on the device. Apple's iBook software does not work with ADE.
If the book was DRM free, you should be able to read it in any ereader or ereader program that supports epub format.
If the book is DRM locked to B&N, Amazon, Kobo or whichever seller you shopped from, then the simples thing is to download their free app for the iPad (they all make one, in fact they all make free apps for iPad, Android, Mac OS X and Windows).
So the short answer is yes, you should be able to read any epub ebook file on an iPad, although not necessarily in iBook.
