I am wanting to know if I buy music on my iPhone will the music get transferred over to my computer the next time I plug it into my computer or will it get deleted?
No it will not be deleted. When you sync with iTunes the purchase will be transferred to iTunes and remain on your iPhone.

If it immediately turns off, seek service.

Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

You would have to get replacements for your old sims to use a iPhone4/4S
and no unlocked is unlocked will work anywhere with a GSM sim
people use jailbreaking to get round not having an unlocked iPhone

They will sell you one with a contract but you will have to go through a contract sign up process etc etc so there is no scope for error -

I'm visiting new York(USA) for work on Sunday, just wanted to know if i can buy an un locked iphone from the apple store or not, since i'm not a resident, to the record we don't have an apple store at my country.
You can buy an unlocked iPhone at any of the 5 Apple stores in NYC. All are open on Sunday. Note a couple of things, however:
US iPhone 5's will work on 3G in the rest of the world, but not on LTE because the US phones use different channels than other countries
Be sure you say "unlocked", not "no contract"
If it breaks it must be returned to a US store for repair, and if shipped to Apple it must be from and to a US address -
My iPhone is FULL, no memory left for photos. If I move all my photos off my iPhone, will the 'ALBUMS' and their content (pics) be blown away ? Also, what is the BEST way to clear/save photos off my iPhone ? PC, ITunes, some other app ?
I use an app called FileApp to transfer photos to my PC - I can then selectively delete photos from my iPhone and still have them on my PC - just download the app to your iPhone and follow the instructions for the accompanying program for your PC - then use your iPhone cable to connect - iTunes will also start up so just close it and you will see the iPhone storage as a drive - go the DCIM folder and open the device folder and you will see your photos.

I'm worried that it will download all of the archived emails because they aren't in the trash and then I will delete them on my iPhone to make room and I won't have access to those emails anymore.

Thanks.I believe if you configured your iPhone as per the Gmail instructions (http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=77702 - also look at the recommended client settings in step 8) it archives the message so it still appears in "All Mail" in Gmail. You would need to move it to "Trash" on the iPhone (I think) to permanently delete it...

No. The Photos ill remain on your PC. They will be copied to the iPad. If you manually delete a photo from the folder on youir computer and sync again, that photo will be removed form the iPad.

How can I get my ical events from my iMac to my iPhone? Anything I entered into ical on my iPhone will transfer to ical on iMac when plugged in, but not vice versa. I think I have changed my iPhone (after looking at similar questions) to iCloud, but it's still not syncing.
You need to sign into your iCloud account on your Mac, and check the Calendar option. System Preferences>iCloud, sign on your iCloud account, check the apps you want to sync with your device.

my iphone 4s will not charge or be recognized when plugged into the computer after the ios 5.1.1 software update why is this? i have used many usb cords also.
Had same problem and did the normal reset 10seconds but did not work.
I plugged in USB and held the on/off switch and home button for 20seconds and the "Connect to Itunes" came on the screen. I then opened up Itunes and it directed me to restore. -
my ipod nano4th gen will not download the purchased songs in itunes v11. Just upgraded to mac 10.6.8-won't synch new songs since this upgrade. The ipod is seen in the itunes as the devise, and the nano screens says synching when plugged into the macmini usb port, but the itunes window does not say it is synching like it has before so whats the culprit? Techno virgin in distress!
PS - I added an iphone5 which is whay these upgrades happened so this synching to the ipod error is since the iphone began synching.I just learn in some post that the most common lapses in syncing is not checking if "sync music" in music section of the ipod is ticked. So double check if it is. Cheers!
