Yes, you may put *_Numbers for iPad_* on your iMac.
At this time, I have 507 items in the "Mobile Applications" available on my iMac's HD.
I grabbed them for the iPad which my wife plan to buy when iPad 2 will be available.
But putting *_Numbers for iPad_* on the iMac doesn't mean that you will be able to use it on this machine (except if you install the developer tools with the iphone emulator).

To the best of my knowledge you cannot currently buy movies via the Apple TV 2. You certainly can't here in the UK, where rental is the only option for all available content.
It's my understanding that US customers can purchase TV shows, but I don't believe they can currently purchase movies

To my understanding, apps purchased from the app store carry a licence that allow installation on any compatible device you own, and that uses the same Apple id. It may not automatically show up on those devices, but will be in the list of apps you have purchased, and may be downloaded from there.

First of all, you don't have to buy it again. Once you own it, you own it and as long as you use the same Apple ID on your iPad as your iPhone (recommended), you can share the app on both.
Second, you can set up your new iPad with a backup from your iPhone, so the data you have in Goodreader on your iPhone would transfer to your iPad automatically if you restore your iPad from your iPhone backup.

iBooks from the iTunes store come encumbered with DRM that only allows them to be read on Apple iOS devices; iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. They cannot currently be read on a PC or Mac. If you are purchasing from another source check the details with them. The basic eBook format is cross platform, but iBooks are not.

No you cannot do it. The iPad and the Mac run on different operating systems. The three devices refers to computers. If you want those apps for the iPad you will have to buy them in the app store.

However the summary suggests that it might be more along the lines of one mac can have Photoshop and another can have InDesign
We're both graphic designers so we would both be wanting the full suite!
I can't find anywhere that states categorically either way, and I don't want to spend £329 only to discover I only have one code...

It is not so much what kind of machines you have, it is just a matter of how you use them. Adobe allows for two machines to be activated as an aid to users. There are all kinds of scenarios where having the software installed on two machines is helpful. Some people have desktops at work/school but need to travel and have to bring their work with them so a laptop comes in handy... similarly, some folks have to take work home with them. I cannot answer as to what happens if you have the siftware running on the two machines simultaneously... but I can say that it violates the license agreement to do so.

Don't the photos automatically download to your computer? I thought that is how it worked. I don't use photo stream since the iPad is not my ideal way to take photos so I have no experience with photo stream, but I thought that was the idea behind it - download to all devices ....

Kindle App on iPad - Can I put disk with free books on it?

Hi, I'm asking for a friend who has the Kindle App on their iPad. They would like to know if they can use a disk they were given with free Kindle books on their iPad. I'm an iPad user myself but have always downloaded the books through Amazon so have no idea where to start with this one. If this is possible, could someone please tell me the steps on how to use it? I'm no longer actively synching the iPad to iTunes, but if it is possible to do this, they would need to load up the eBooks to iTunes (on a computer) and synch them over the iPad. I have my doubts it will work however.

Did you purchase the Verizon version, AT&T vesion, or Wi-Fi only version?
If you have the Verizon version, contact them about pricing information.
If you have the AT&Tversion, contact them about pricing information. This model does not have the hardware necessary to connect to Verizon's network.
If you have the Wi-Fi only version, buy a MiFi from Verizon or AT&T, or continue using it only on Wi-Fi. This model does not have the hardware necessary to connect to any cellular network.

Can you tell us more about your 2011 iMac, what App's you run on it and why you think it already needs to be replaced? Plus please tell us that you did not load MacKeeper or some other AV junkware on it?
It should not already be that slow, I have various Intel Mac's ranging from 2006 thru 2010 and none are what I would call slow.
