If I change my Orange Sim UK to an Orange Sim CH (Switzerland).....

..... when I am in Switzerland, will my Blackberry email still be pushed to my phone if I have set up Data Services with the Swiss Sim?  Will there be any conflicts.
I basically go between UK and Switzerland several times a month and am on a Pay as You Go.  I want to use a Swiss Sim when in Switzerland and a UK Sim when in UK, both on Orange.  Will the PIN and IMEI number change if I change the SIM?
Thanks to whomever knows and can reply.
Nicki

The first thing you need to determine IS, does the Swiss provider support or allow BlackBerry Data Services on a pre-paid account?

I bought a 4G SIM activation kit on the advice of a CS rep, who said I could change out the SIM card on my Verizon Droid X (currently in use with a customer loyalty plan) and switch it to a prepaid plan. But now it appears there is no SIM card to switch out. Google search finds several others have asked that question and the Droid X doesn't have a SIM card, apparently. But, the 4G SIM activation kit "Compatibility" tab claims that it is compatible with the Droid X, so what is the real story here? Do I have to send this kit back to you?

No. Call Apple Care and give them the serial number. They may be able to tell you who it is locked to.

    Hi philhardinges,
You can ask Apple support for the replacement receipt, this receipt would have the old iphone information(including Imei) and the replacement iphone information.
I had a problem like you and they sent me that information, then with the old imei you can unlock your iphone
Another way to take the old iphone imei, you can look for the original iphone box, yep, the one i hope you saved carefully somewhere in your house hahaha. The imei is showed on the bottom of the box down-right corner.
Hope this information can help you.
    Best regards

  • If i have a orange contract from switzerland can i unlocked my phone by buying the unlock stuff??

i have a orange contract in switzerland and i wanted to unlocked my iphone is that able to unlock by buying the unlock tools in apple store

    From this,
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1937
You may be in luck, but it will obviously depend on the terms and conditions as unlocking is not automatic on all networks, some you have to complete your contract for example.

  • In FF4, how do I change the orange color of the drop down box that says 'firefox'?

I find the bright orange drop down box very annoying and distracting. How do I change the color?

One way is to use the App Button Color add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/app-button-color/

I brought both an iPhone 5 and 3Gs from the US to Saudi Arabia.  I want to keep the iPhone 5 under a contract in the US.  However, I want to use my iPhone 3Gs as a local phone.  Is it as simple as changing the SIM card in the 3Gs to use as a local phone.  Will I be able to receive emails on the 3Gs with a local SIM card?

  • After the change of the SIM card in the settings imessage and facetime changed phone number. How do I return the previous numbers?

Put the sim card into your iphone from my mother's ipad to use the iPhone as a modem. Then did it the way it was before. After some time noticed that my wife on her iphone imessage does not come with a phone number, and from my email. While setting up my iphone to install the phone number of the SIM card ipad, you can not change the phone number of my sim card. At the same time, the phone settings - in the "Contact" - my number is registered correctly.

Settings>Messages>Send & Receive at>You can be reached by iMessages at. If your iPhone number appears in there, select it as your contact address, if it isn't in there, you will have to link the nimumber to messages.

  • Changing standard size sim to micro & keep existing number

I have a standard size orange, payg sim card.  I want to buy a moto g phone which takes a micro sim card, I want to stay with payg.   If I order a micro sim card,  can I keep my existing phone number and any credit on my current sim?  What would I need to do?Thanks

Take phone & old SIM into an EE shop & they'll transfer credit, no. & (SIM) contacts to SIM of correct size for free or order online https://explore.ee.co.uk/Order-a-new-SIM for £10.

  • Can i change my existing sim card on my iphone 4 with a completely new sim card, without losing information, icloud info etc?

Getting a completely new sim card but same network this week. I have an iPhone 4. Once i receive the new sim card, will my photos, music, contacts etc still be there with the new sim card in the iphoine? Will my icloud be the same etc? How would i transfer it over if i have to? or will nothing change ? thanks

Yes, you can change your sim card and not lose pictures, etc.  The only thing the sim card holds is carrier settings.  That said, just to make sure you are completely safe, backup your phone before you replace the sim.  If anything goes wrong (it shouldn't), you'll have everything in your backup.

  • Can you change a non sim ipad to a sim ipad?

Friend of mine has the original iPad but as a WiFi version.
Is there any way of changing this so it can accept a SIM card and can be used as 3G also? Or is it a case of  buying a new one with 3G enabled already?
    Thanks in advance

The wifi only iPad doesn't have sim slot or the hardware within it to use a sim card - so yes it would be a case of buying a new iPad. Alternatively an iPhone can be used as a hotspot for the iPad (as long as your carrier supports hotspot), or you can get mifi devices. But the best way is to have 3G built-in if you think that you are going to be using 3G a lot.

  • Difficulty in changing to a SIM only tariff...

Hi EveryoneApologies for the length of this post....and I hope it makes sense...I've been an o2 customer for many years (in fact when it was btcellnet!)...anyway. I got an iphone 5 on a 24 month contract which finished around September/October 2014. I didnt upgrade to a new phone or change my contract, i let it slip and carried on paying the same monthy amount (as if I was still paying for my 'phone). I decided to investigate, only a few days ago, what options I had to change my tarrif and decided that I wanted to stay with o2, keep my same number and go for SIM only on a rolling monthly tarriff (not a 24 month SIM only)...sounded like something I could manage to do (Im not that techy). I signed in to my account, found the right SIM only tarrif for me, then wanted to double check that I could make the change without changing my number so i had a live chat with am o2 Guru. I thought my requirements had been understood, but it would seem not....a couple of days later i received a new SIM in the post, which was a pay monthly SIM and with a new number...NOT what I'd asked for...so I had a live chat with another Guru last night, this time it definately seemed that my request was understood , saying that i could keep my number and SIM that I already have in my phone and they would complete the change from pay monthly to rolling 30 day SIM only within 24 hours....it has now been more than 24 hours and I have had no service on my mobile since last night....it's too late to have another live chat (it's offline)... Ive checked my account on line and it shows my number and that I am still on my same pay monthly tarrif...am i being impatient ? I don't know what to do? Thanks

Here's the link to swap your sim....http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/Additionally if you need to contact customer services we would suggest you phone and speak to someone from this next link.Probably live chat haven't dealt with your request fully http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

  • If I purchase an iPhone 4S in Indonesia can I unlock it for use in Canada and/or the US. Can I change out the sim card by country?

If I purchase an iPhone 4S in Indonesia can I unlock it for use in Canada and the US as well? Can I swap out sim cars in each country as well?

Shipping the phone back to Indonesia will be at your expense.
You can't ship back to Apple or any of the authorized carriers, as they do not accept international shipments for iPhone warranty or service work, you must physically bring the phone back.

  • Changing the micro SIM while travelling

I'm going to Sweden for 3 months with my Canadian unlocked iPhone4 and I have three simple questions for you experts:
    1) If I take out my current Canadian micro SIM, I won't be charged for data, roaming, incoming calls, etc, right? That is, if my SIM isn't in the phone, I can't possibly connect to the network, so I can't possibly be charged for anything, aside from my monthly baseline fee that I pay for my Canadian mobile phone plan?
    2) Can I get a new micro SIM in Sweden? If I take out my Canadian micro SIM, can I replace it with a Swedish one? Do the Swedes sell them?
    3) What sort of plan can I expect to get in Sweden for the short term (3 months) and what carriers do you recommend?
    Thanks for your help!

    1) yes you wont incur any additional charges once you remove your original sim
    2) you should be able to get a micro sim when in Sweden
    3) I'm not familiar with any Swedish providers but you are better off getting a pay as you go sim and use that with the phone when you are in Sweden.
or if you have issues with sim sizes
you can either get a sim cutter to use the pay as you go sim within your iphone 4, and see if they have any pay as you go options with data or you can get a pay as you go phone with the plan to use temporarily as a cheaper alternative.

  • Iphone 5 change different country sim

hi, i am staying in botswana,& i am having botswan sim card in my iphone5, next month i want to travel india so can i use indian sim card in iphone 5.
    What is the procidure
How to get all files & flolder

You would have to have an unlocked iphone 5 of which is not available yet. If you purchase a locked phone then you would have to ask the carrier if they would unlock it for you. Also your warranty would not be valid in another country if purchased in the united states, its not an international warranty.
