First of all, this is completely normal behavior, although it's a bit irritating, I know. What happens is that when you close Firefox, despite the window disappearing right there and then, Firefox keeps running for a little bit until the whole closing procedure is completed. This can take a fraction of a second on fast computers, or can take a few seconds on slow computers or when Firefox is storing a large session (if you save your tabs). All you have to do is wait a bit until Firefox closes, and then open it again.
To see if it's still running, you can press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC and then, under the Processes tab, you can see if firefox.exe is still there. If it's taking an unusual amount of time to close (which happens very rarely, and only if the browser freezes on exit), you can force the application to terminate from this application (task manager).
Firefox 4.0 will reduce by 97% the time it takes firefox.exe to close, so this problem will be basically erased for Firefox's next version.
Until then, I can recommend you this extension, which helps you restart your browser more easily and without bothering about closing times:

If you are not using data and the iPhone goes to sleep, it will automatically drop the wi-fi, and will not reconnect until you wake the phone up. That is the way it is designed. The only way around that is to turn off cellular data while at home and on wi-fi.

Every time I attempt to move an object or text Illustrator "closes unexpectedly" and loses all my progress, every time it sends a report, but I've sent at least twenty and still no change, is there anything I can do from my computer?

It's getting so out of hand I can't finish a single project and I'm a student so it's very urgent.

Without proper system information and other details like the crash logs nobody can say anything. Presumably, if you mean CC 2014, you have a graphics acceleration issue, so turn that stuff off in the prefs.

Updated to iOS 5.1 and my iPad 2 reboots every time I edit a photo in photos.

I screen shot something and I wanted to crop something out in photos but when I tapped edit, it reboot my iPad. When it turned on again, and I repeated the process, it reboot again. I closes all the running apps and manually reset the iPad but nothing changed. Is it a bug in iOS 5.1?

I just tried it and it worked OK on my iPad 2 with iOS 5.1.
I've read that other weird problems with 5.1 were cured by going to Settings-General-Reset-Reset All Settings.
You might also try resetting (rebooting) by holding both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. The iPad will restart after a couple of minutes. Resetting this way will not hurt anything, and sometimes clears up mysterious problems.

This makes no sense... if it's not on the phone, it's not on the phone. A search of the device would never find it.
Is the issue possible that the app is simply on another home screen or in a folder? Have you possibly filled the 11 page max of home screens?

Locked out of mail have to unlock every time I try to access it.

I have been using my mac (mini) for a couple years and have always had macs, so I;m not an idiot (meh)…Just recently I have been locked out of my mail every time I try to use it, with either "disabled for security reasons" or "unable to connect to iCloud.." This is a personal computer…no network to deal with, just me, my iPad and iPhone. It is really really annoying. I have reset password, checked iCloud preferences to make sure my primary email address is the right one, and still have to unlock every time on every device. I have 3 accounts as I am old and have been through the @mac, @me and @icloud. I know I am missing something that is probably simple, but for the life of me I can't figure out what. When I go to unlock it everything works fine, but I have to do this constantly. I have never been asked to do this before the last 2 weeks, now it is ever-present. @mac has always been my primary email…it has never been changed (by me). I am lost,

When I close Firefox and then try to open it, it says it is already running and I have to close it which I can't do. The only way to open it is to first restart my computer which is a pain. If I can't fix this I will use an other brouser!

I am not sure what more I can tell you. I close firefox. So when I click on the icon it should allow me to open it again but I get a message that says it is already running. Either close it out which I can't do since I already did that or restart the computer.

Try holding control, alt and delete down in succession and then a dialogue box will appear with windows task manager. Once open click on the Processes Tab and look for firefox.exe. Highlight this and then click end process. It should come up with a warning but just click Yes. This should then close firefox and allow you to reopen it from your desktop without shutting down your computer. Hope this helps.

Sounds like it is hanging when you exit and later try to restart Firefox.

When you go to task manager, go to the "processes" tab, right click on "firefox.exe," and select "end process tree." In the picture I've attached, I'm using windows 8, so the UI is a little different, but I hope it points you in the right direction.
