I just recently got my new Satellite laptop and purchased some games, one game "Spore" seemed a bit slow in the installation proccess but worked fine for the first few days, now it shut down and wont open, wont respond, i cant open my game, and when i try to i get a message stating "file is corrupted" so i went to uninstall it, when i did it said that there was a bad process in installing it and suggested i reinstall it using the normal network settings for this computer, i said yes, but after a few minutes it wasnt doing anything and task manager wasnt showing any activity, i clicked uninstall it again and it seemed to accept my uninstall command but nothing ever came up again, i called toshiba and it told me to come here, help?

thanks - But that doesnt really solve my problem. I want to send one email out to multiple addresses - however, I don't want each recipient to see that I've sent the message to lots of people if you know what I mean?

Any help would be very much appreciated! My computer crashed and I didn't have itunes backed up elsewhere and now my son has disabled the ipod touch by entering the incorrect password too many times. Any way I can save the songs,etc. I have on the ipod?

If the iPod is disabled at this point, there would be no other way to access the iPod other than restoring it through iTunes. If you don't have your purchases backed up, you can always email the iTunes billing team and hope that they will grant you an exception to have your purchases regranted so you don't have to pay again.

Why is it that when i go to restore my ipod it says im not connected to the internet when i am. so if anyone could help it would be very much appreciated

5 R's not working on Frozen Ipod-any help very much appreciated!

I think that I've disconnected my Ipod when I shouldn't have (when it was on a manual sync. setting, i Think). It has the Apple icon on permanently and doesn't respond to:
-5 R's (no success, despite repeating them on a number of occassions)
-turning the PC on and off
-neither itunes or my computer recognises my Ipod when it's connected to any of my USB ports and therefore I can't resore original settings...
I'm desperate to resolve as I've only got this Ipod back from servicing a week ago and I'd just worked out how to trnsfer my Itunes library from my old laptop onto my new one and just after deauthorising my purchases and I was about to play, then this happens...
Any help or advice would be very gratefully received.

I did the same thing last night. I was at my witts end. I sat for aboout 4 hours doing all the 5r's. in the end i kept pressing the menu button and the centre button together over and over and over for about 10 mins. I shut down mac, restarted it and i connected ipod to laptop. the pod unfroze. I hope that works for you.

I can not get to iPhone screen, so no way to get to Settings. That is the problem. When I connect phone to iTunes I get screen asking to insert SIN card. On the phone I'm getting Cinfigure screen asking Launguage , Country or Region, Wi-Fi, ( I can connect to my home wi-fi), and last screen "Activating your iPhone". After two minutes of waiting IM getting message: Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server in temporary unavailable. try connecting to iTunes or try later or contat apple.com/support.

That was very nice of you to provide your friend with a new phone! I am sorry to say that the device will not be able to activate while in Dubai. For a device to activate it must connect to the VZW network to become active. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Howdy there 15itechnic,
It sounds like you are getting a prompt when trying to use iTunes to sync an app to your iPod that you need to authorize your computer but it already is. I would next verify that the app in question was purchased with the same Apple ID as the one that you have iTunes authorized. The following article will help you find the Account Name. Open iTunes and go to the Apps section under Library in the Sidebar.
Recovering a forgotten iTunes Store account name

Open iTunes
Highlight one of the items you have purchased (You can find your purchases in your Purchases playlist).
Choose File > Get Info.
Click the Summary tab.
The Account Name area will list the account used to purchase the item. Unless you have changed accounts, this is your iTunes Store account name.

This is really unfortunate. I'm sorry that nothing works. I was going to mention holding down the power button and doing a force shutdown but you already did that. You might need to take it into the Apple store. I don't know if booting into safe mode would help. You would have to turn off the machine again, hit the start button and hold down the shift key after you hear the tone, but normally you would let go of the shift key when you see the apple logo and spining wheel. Maybe by holding down the shift key after you here the tone will cause the screen to come back on? The other option is to start up from the 'install disk' if your machine came with one. You would insert the disk, then shut down the computer, and hold down the C key right after hitting the start button.

I don't know where you heard that statement but it's completely incorrect.
According to Apple:
Use Your iPad Regularly
For proper reporting of the battery’s state of charge, be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).
Elsewhere, Apple elaborates and explains that two half-discharges (or four quarter-discharges, etc.) equals one full discharge.
