If I delete Batman: Arkham Asylum, how do i save game?

I've downloaded Batman: Arkham Asylum from the Mac App Store on my Macbook Pro, but I'm running out of space on my computer and need to delete the game to save space. I know I can re-download the game later for free through the Mac App Store, but what about my saved game data? How do I back that up and save it to make sure it's not lost?

If you have them on your Mac, even if they are no longer available in iTunes at a later time, you can sync them back to the iPad. So - yes, you can safely delete them from the iPad to make room.
Launch the videos app and tap the TV Shows button at the top. Then tap the Edit button in the upper right corner. Tap the X on the TV Show icon to delete it.
Most purchased content can be downloaded again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID - as long as the content is still in iTunes. Tap the Purchased tab in iTunes when you want to download it again. Tap the TV Shows button, tap Not on this iPad, find the show on the left side and tap it and look for the cloud icon next to the show to download it again.

  • Batman: Arkham Asylum Piracy Warning

Recently, a friend purchased "Batman: Arkham Asylum," and when he tried to put it onto a DVD to transfer to another computer of his without internet, his computer flashed, told him he was committing piracy, deleted the game, and Apple sent him a warning. He wasn't pirating, so why did his action of transfering to a DVD prompt this action? How can he get it onto a DVD or flash drive to get onto his other computer?

I'm not the definitive expert but I produce DVD's and train how to make DVD's.
The business model has changed. Your computer has a relationship with the App Store/iTunes. The EULA language states this is not allowed.
If you loose your computer, it fails, or you buy a new one then your purchased aps tied to your account will allow you to reload.
Again the business model has changed.

I hope that someone can help me out with this issue that I am having while playing Batman - Arkham Asylum for the PC. I am currently running Vista 64-Bit Ultimate, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT, Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum Ex with 5. Surround Sound. The issue I am having while playing Batman is I keep getting distorted sound while playing the game. I went into Audio Console and have the settings to 5... also did a speaker test and have sound in all the speakers. Onboard sound is also disabled. I also have the most recent Creative Drivers for my sound card and Video card. Any help would be appreciated!
    Thank You

The drivers are part of the WIndows Install and the IDE or SATA controller driver.  There isn't any driver that would cause what you are experiencing.  You might want to go to Device Manager and un-install the DVD drive then reboot (which will automatically re-install the driver.  This sometimes corrects problems with the DVD Drives, but not always.
If your drive still doesn't recognize DVD disks after the above it is more than likely defective and will need to be replaced..

  • How do i save games to icloud

how do i save games to icloud using my macbook?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
You cannot save games in iCloud. That's not the iCloud purpose.
Instead, if you have "Documents & Data" enabled in System Preferences > iCloud, your iCloud-compatible games may save your progresses and settings in iCloud, but nothing else.

  • How do you save "game state" so the user can continue next time?

I'm not sure what the correct game terminology is for this, but how do you save "game state" so the user can continue next time?
This seems like a pretty important feature for building some games, we don't want users to have to start over everytime.
Any ideas if this is possible?

Check out my blog post on the PersistenceManager:
    http://www.unitedmindset.com/jonbcampos/2010/11/01/flex-4-5-persistencemanager/
This will help you understand how to store the data. When the app starts up again get the state information from the persistencemanager and reset you game to the state you need. It requires a bit of code for the startup, but it is relatively simple.

  • Batman: Arkham Knight becomes the fastest-selling game of 2015

    Source: http://www.videogamer.com/ps4/batman_arkham_knight/news/batman_arkham_knight_becomes_the_fastest-selling_game_of_2015.html

on pure hype or the fact no other game is out, playing for only 5hrs granted as the PC version is so messed up i couldnt continue but from what i played meh, tanks and the bat tank are just boring and soo wrong, having the tanks be "drones" as least the keep up the batman doesnt kill, but these things are just boring they arent a threat just a time waste. best part for me was when that voice turns up made my day seems no boss fights or not alot of predator rooms, also the story makes a very convenient excuse to have a city thats almost devoid of characters other games get slated for. i dont see how this got a 10/10 i really dont.

  • How will Batman Arkham City work on my iMac 21.5 Late 2013?

Hi everybody, I have just bought an iMac for Christmas and I wanna know how will Batman Arkham City work on my computer. The especifications are this: 21.5, 2.7 i5, 8GB RAM and Iris Pro Graphics 1024 MB Late 2013. How will the game look compared with a PS3? And I am also worried because the are some people who say that gaming in an iMac like mines can damage it, is it true?
Thank You, and sorry for my English I am from Spain and I dont totally control the language.

According to a review written in Oct 2013, they cover several aspects of this year's iMac and go into graphics performance, where they said they tried a few tests and a few games. The game inquiry appeared to be given a satisfactory nod or affirmative here: http://www.engadget.com/2013/10/08/apple-imac-review-2013/ or coverage of recent specs here: http://www.macworld.co.uk/mac/reviews/?reviewid=3470461
Since I didn't  look into Mactracker for Late 2013 specs to see when that version shipped, the numbers may have changed if 'Late' model was available after the October 2013 date of their review.
There also are a few other incidents of that game in use on iMacs of later vintage, as per search results: https://www.google.com/#q=Batman+Arkham+City+in+iMac+2013+model
Hopefully the game & the new iMac works out well for you.
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • Why does my Mac keep crashing when playing Batman: Arkham City?

This is the second time I've played through this game. The first time I played the entirety of it without any crashes, but since then there was an Apple/OSX software/hardware update and now it crashes every 5 minutes or so. The update I'm talking about supposedly fixed graphics/GPU performance issues, so I'm wondering if that update is the problem now. Here's what I think is going on:
In order for the system to allow decent performance on the Retina model MacBook Pros, more GPU power had to be unleashed (either through some overclocking or just letting it run longer before slowing the processes down and kicking the fans up??) so they had to allow the GPU to get hotter, but now it gets too hot and so OS X is terminating the causal application, Arkham City, before any damage is done.
Also, no matter what graphics settings I use in the game the FPS rate average only changes from a low of 47 fps to high of 52fps. I'm not that into gaming, so I don't really know much about it, but that doesn't seem to make sense to me.
Here is a list of all the settings that I have ON when I get an average 45fps: Full Screen Anti-Aliasing: 8x; Detail Level: High, Dynamic Shadows: Yes, Motion Blur: Yes, Lens Flares: Yes, FXAA: Yes, Light Shafts: Yes, Reflections: Yes, Ambient Occlusion: Yes, V-Sync: Yes, and Particles: High
When I switch everything to either off or its lowest setting, it only gives me an additional 5-7fps, AND it still crashes, if anything, more often than when the higher settings are used. How can I get my Mac to let me play through this game like I used to?
The computer running Arkham City is a 2012 Macbook Pro with Retina Display, 15", Quad 2.7Ghz i7 w/8MB L3 Cache, 16GB RAM, and 768GB SSD, Nvidia GeForce GT 650M 1024MB + Intel HD4000.
Thanks for any help you can give!
P.S. If you haven't played the Batman Arkham series, I highly recommend them both (this current issue notwithstanding).

You can make an appointment with a Mac Genius at an Apple Store for a consultation. They will examine your Mac and try to figure out what might be wrong with it. The consultation is Free, whether you have AppleCare coverage or not.

  • Batman: Arkham Origins

I got a really great deal the other day on Steam for the Batam: Arkham Origins so I went ahead and purchased it/with the DLC's as well. I was kind of disappointed about the actual storyline/gameplay from playing Arkham City/Asylum when I purchased it ages ago from BestBuy.
Was anybody else kind of disappointed by the Origins game? A hefty price for just a multiplayer addition pretty much...I do have to admit I enjoy the challenge maps but I mean come on they used the same map and everything.
What were your initial thoughts on the game? From playing Origins it kind of shys me away from wanting to get the new Batman game as well personally.
I am not affiliated with Best Buy nor have I ever been employed by Best Buy. All of my thoughts and posts are of my own opinion and personal experience.
I may not always know the right answer, but I will always tell you what I do know. I also do free computer analysis and consultation via private message.

    Hello KamuiX87-
The Time Drake skin was a Robin skin that you could use in multiplayer.  You can find a little more information on our pre-order bonuses post for Batman: Arkham Origins here.
    I hope that this helps!
