HELP! I broke something in my MacBook Pro by opening it up and trying to upgrade my optical bay drive to an SSD and my RAM and broke a cable near the optical bay drive. Even had stubborn stepdad bought AppleCare, it would not have covered damages caused by your mucking about inside the unit.

I have never drop my Ipad 2 nor wet it. Just recently while search on siri, ipad kept going back to home page. Wondering if I can reset ipad or do anything to fix this problem
Basic troubleshooting , try each one in turn to see if they sort
1. Reset then
2. restore with back up and if required
3. restore as new
which should eliminate any software issues -

Recently my iPod touch 4th gen. was stolen. I have had it for two years, so I don't have a warranty on it anymore. I reported it to the police, but what will apple do? This one kid reported to them that his was stolen and they gave him a new one. Will they do the same for me? Is there any other way I can get all my pictures from my iPod without iCloud set up? Would Apple be able to lock up my iPod so they cant use it at all? Please help me, thanks (:

I am trying to restore an older iPod Touch, but do not have the passcode. I am getting an error message saying that I need to free up some space, but I cannot because I don't have the passcode and have never synced this device to my account. Help..
If it is asking for the screen-lock passcode then:
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

My system don't have menu "open and close posting periods" (full path in below). I search in google say that my system should active Public Sector Management to use this function.
I need to make sure before active, please help me if you known about this. And what BCSet will I need to active, is it IS-PS-CA ?

1. Goto SFW5..
2. Choose "Enterprise Addons" tab..
3. Against Business Function EA-PS...Change the Status to On and then activate..
4. Log off and Login again...now check the menu path.

Your iPhone and iPod can share the same iTunes account. Apps can be freely shared and used by one or both devices. You can't use money in your iTunes account to pay for your phone, but purchased apps can be used by both the iPod and iPhone.

i've downloaded some free games for my iphone4 but they are using my internet because they have ads. does anyone know if there are any games that don't have these ads and don't require internet AT ALL?and if i disable my internet connexion, does it help?
Thank you. I put it in airplane mode like you suggested, but it looks to me like all the applications and ads are still running. Anyway, I'm just gonna play when I'm really really bored and use them as less as possible. Thank you again for your quick answer.

I’m trying to follow HP’s instructions to add a driver for HP Color Laserjet CP 1215 which is connected to my Time Capsule. However, in System Preferences I can’t “add” the printer to the print queue because I don’t have a driver and you have to select a driver before the add button becomes active. Therefore, the Mountain Lion software update doesn’t add driver software for the CP 1215 driver because I was unable to add the printer to the print queue.
This printer doesn't seem to be supported in ML:

You could try the 1515 driver or use the Generic PostScript Printer PPD when adding the printer.
