If I don't select the database when I run an opened script, it will run forever. I think it should generate an error to user, to tell user to select a database. My version is 1.0.14.67 windowsxp

Please walk us through the steps that you use to recreate this issue. For me, the commit option is not available unless a connection is specified, so I am confused as to what actions you are performing. Also let us know what your platform and patch level is in sqldeveloper.

This is because the COUNT(*) is returning a value which is longer than the INT4 data type it is expecting. If you restrict the selection by introducing a WHERE clause, then you won't get the dump:

How to recover the database when some of the archive log file get deleted.

I am facing a problem with Oracle database, which is related to archivelogs.
Our development database is running in archivelog mode, but we don't have backups scheduled and have no recovery catalog.
When the database was in running condition, disk got full, so some archivelogs were deleted manually.
After this they restarted the DB, and now DB is not coming up. Errors are as follows:

Hi,
Archive log files are the copies of redolog files.As redo log files are circularly overwritten,oracle generates archive log file of the corresponding redo logfiles being overwritten.So if you have a backup that dates back to 10 am in the morning and if your database creashed at 3 pm,you cannot use the redo log files alone as they have incomplete information.To completely recover the database upto 3 pm,you need archive log files generated between 10 am to 3 pm. In your case since you are missing one archive log file,you cannot perform complete recovery and hence would suffer data loss.

Did you get a chance to check the IPC log directories
Also usually for a sysfail message you can check the smw01
You will see a bdoc with status F05. What does it say there?
or
Is it "Scheduled for outbound processing" or "recorded for outbound processing".
I guess the message has not been processed, so the next step is to go to transaction SMQ2, and check for info as to why it is not processed.
If you see a queue status of SYSFAIL, first try resetting it to "Ready" again. If it still fails then, delete that particular LUW. And if you still have some more messages in the queue just click the unlock queue button.

This is ERP 6.0 with EHP4 with MS SQL in back ground and I was applying the BASIS SP 04. It was in the TEST scenario and in the SPDD_SPAU_CHECK phase it threw the error.

this error is very often seen in case of a database corruptions. Please follow note 142731 and perform a complete database check. Send the results when they show errors.

Selecting the item when mouse wheel scrolled in JComboBox

I have 2 issues wrt JComboBox which are:
1.Selecting the item when my mouse scroll wheel is rolled.
2.Collapsing the expanded combobox ie. to initial state when i press ALT+Tab and revist the same window.It is like this..
expand the combobox to with item selected and expanded.Now press alt+tab to see the same window then the combobx is still exapanded.Actulaly it is to be collapsed showing the seleted item only.
Could any one pls help me out.

As regards problem 2 - do you want the combo to stay open, or to close when you Alt Tab, I can't quite tell from your question.
If you want it to close, then I would say that is standard behaviour and I have never seen a Java (or any other) application that doesn't work like that, so if it doesn't work that way for you, then you must have coded it very oddly.

After I installed Mavericks I don't get the whoosh when I send an email. If I restart I'll have it until the machine goes to sleep and then it'll disappear agian.

My MAC mini looses the wi-fi connection to a Belkin N wireless router when it goes to sleep or shut down. I have to re select the network when restarting or waking the computer up. I think this just started with Lion. My iPod and iPad have no trouble.

I upgraded to 10.7.3 a few weeks ago, and then last week I reloaded the combo update, hoping it would help. Not so. Thank you for letting me know it is a common problem. I have tried permissions in Disk Utilities, and in Macaroni, both at least 4 times, plus numerous restarts. Nothing Improves. It still can not find the internet when it wakes up or gets up.

I do realize that the nano will resume where I left off in my audiobook if I reload the file that was last playing.
What I was hoping is that the 6g nano would work like my previous iPods and default to the last file played the next time played after Iused sleep mode instead of going to some random song on the iPod.
Since I usually have a lot of audiobooks on my iPod--and most of those have 10-15 files in them, it's a pain to have to navigate to the correct file (and try to remember which of the 10-15 files I was last playing). On all my other iPods I could simply hit play and it would start up in the audiobook right where it left off.
Note--this only happens if I use the sleep timer to turn off the iPod. If I pause the book myself, when I turn the iPod back on it'll "remember" what file it was playing.

They all have SYSFAIL in SMQ2 with message: SQL error in the database when accessing a table
I already unlocked the queues and try to resend. Nothing happend!
I ran RSQIWKEX for the single queus but now there are new queues in Status SYSFAIL.
I already checked some entries in forum and blogs, but nothing worked out yet!
Can someone help?! it's urgent!!

TS3276 how do i rebuild the database when starting up Mail version 5.2?

Having real problems with Mail. Sent a large attachment earlier today which is now in a 'Recovered Message' folder. Since then I can't send or receive any emails from any account, ie BT Yahoo, via Mail, although I can do this from the internet at BT Yahoo. A friend suggested 'rebuilding the database' by holding down certain keys at launch of Mail. Will this work and if so what are the keys to hold down?

You can rebuild your mailbox by selecting the mailbox and then selecting the menu item "Mailbox >> Rebuild".
You can optimize your mailbox by "vacuuming" the databases too (huge improvement). Open Termina.app and use:
