If you are going to sell a system that did not come with Lion installed you use the media that came with it to revert it to as it was when new, (after overwriting the entire drive).
If you have a new system that came with Lion and you do the same as above, using the rescue partion. That partition is not tied to any user out of the box. That is unless the software asks you to sign in with an Apple ID before running Restore. In which case I would simply just overwrite your main partition and allow the next user to run the Restore from the Recovery Partition.

So I'm helping my dad with his iPod Shuffle, and I'm having a strange problem. He apparently loaded all the music on it from a G4 tower, and now when we plug it in to his laptop, it says that it can only sync with one computer at a time, and you can either transfer purchases off it or erase and sync.
The odder thing is that it gives the same message on the tower. There doesn't appear to be an option to turn off auto sync. Do you have any ideas?

Up to 2 as long as you’re the only one using it. Basically you can login to CC using your AdobeID and install the software on up to two computers. If you try to do it on a third, it'll ask you to deactivate it on the other two, which is fine, but then you can only reactivate it on one of the two old ones. This is for when a computer is retired or the hard-drive goes bad and you need a new computer or have to reformat your hard-drive.

I'm deeply sorry to be so noob, but on the top of that I'm french, so it's incredibly difficult for me, trying to understand something I don't even understand in french... (GPU, driver, etc.).

Downloaded Lion, Can't Install

I downloaded Lion but can't install. I get a message that tells me to "check my internet connection" but the connection is fine. Has this happened to anyone else?

How to download lion installation files using windows

Hi,
I installing a SSD into my new Macbook Pro and need to download Lion so I can do a clean install.
My problem is that I only have 1GB download limit at home so I would like to download at work. But work only has Windows based machines. Is there anyway to download it on a windows?
The nearest Apple store is 2 hours drive away, and I cannot connect my Mac into the work network.
Any suggestions?

You can download it, on a Mac. Do you know someone with a wireless network and a large download limit?
I would seriously be looking at updating your Internet Plan. A standard update of any OS (Not just the inital Lion download) will wipe out your allowance in one hit. If you want to keep your system up to date, you will find it almost impossible on 1GB of monthly download data. Even if you bought Snow Leopard and installed it, the updates would well outweigh your allowance.
