If I download Maverick will loose all my infor on quicken 2007

I just downloaded OS Maverick and it said that Quicken 2007 would not run on my computer .... does this mean I will loose all the info I have put in on Quicken 2007? And also Word?

It appears that you are using the PowerPC (PPC) versions of Quicken 2007 and Microsoft Office 2004.
You need to purchase for $15 the updated Quicken 2007 for Intel (Snow Leopard, Lion, Mt. Lion and Mavericks; v16.1.4):

This is a full featured version, not just an update, and does not require any prior version of Quicken be on you Mac prior to installation. It will open your Quicken 2007 PPC data files directly.
As noted, you need to purchase the updated Microsoft Office 2008 or 2011 or use one of the free alternatives, such as LibreOffice.
Another alternative is to restore your Snow Leopard environment that you saved as a backup before you upgraded to Mavericks and then install Mavericks into a newly created partition or external hard drive and use the dual-boot method (System Preferences:Startup Disk) to give you alternative access to Snow Leopard (and your older software) and Mavericks, as needed.

File menu, Export, Address Book Archive. (I think that's where it is in SL).
However, do you not have a full backup of your Mac? Upgrading without one is not really advisable unless your contacts are all you care about.

Get an external hard disk and copy it over there.
Make it easy for yourself and use Time Machine.
But seriously, if you're asking a question as basic as this, you might want to consider taking a course or reading a book before updating your OS.

Not a good idea to depend on an iPhone or any cell phone alone for such important data, which can be lost or stolen or damaged beyond repair.
Contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book app on your computer and/or there are a number of free email accounts that support syncing contacts and other data over the air such as with an Apple iCloud account, Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail.
Photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.
In addition, contacts and photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll are included with the iPhone's backup.

Are you currently on ios 4? If so that's where the backup comes in. You'll need to restore your backup once the software is updated.

Basically you will have to transfer its contents to the new computer and then restore the iPod and then resync. An iPod can only sync to one iTunes library.

The IOS5 upgrade will erase everything on your iPad, so make sure you have a good backup before you start.
If not, you will just have to reenter all of your settings all over again. Have you ever backed it up successfully?

This is true.
All of your content should be on your computer in itunes. If it is not, then transfer it there, so you can sync it back.

Yes, that is your only option.Yes. You have to restore.
Try the following if you have difficulty restoring.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

If necessary:
- Transfer iTunes purchases by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
- Transfer other music by using a third-party progrtam like one of those discussed here:
Copy music
--- When everything is on your computer, connect the iPod to your computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
--- Restore the iPod from that backup
Note that the backup that iTunes makes does not include synced media like apps and music.
Sometimes a computer glitch causes the iPod to see the iTunes library as a new one.
