If I download the iPad version of an app can I get the Mac Version for free
Just like on Iphone to Ipad, I noticed on the mac app store i own most of the big 10 dollar apps for ipad, i can rebuy them for free or will it charge me.
A good example is EDGE or Asphalt 6

iPhones and iPads run the same OS. You cannot run software designed for iOS on your Mac, so you will have to re-purchase any software that has a Mac version, just as you would for most software if you owned a Windows version and wanted the Mac version.

After upgrading to ios 6.1, I experienced the following problem: I am no longer able to read the magazine I subscribed (The New Yorker) if I don't have access to internet. If the iPad is on FlightMode I can't read the magazine or the books in iBooks. Can you help me?
I am having the same problem. I have a 2nd generation ipad wi-fi only. All was working great until I upgraded. NONE of my downloaded magazines or rss-feeds are accessible. For the magazines, their icons show up on the "shelves" but once you click on one it wont even take you to the "issues" i have downloaded. it jumps back to the shelf page.

my iPad is frozen.. it won't shut off.. i can't do a forced restart by holding the sleep/wake and home button.... it doesn't respond to that either.. i can't connect it to iTunes because it needs passcode entered but again the iPad is frozen so i can't input the passcode… I also can't do recovery mode as the ipad won't shut down for me to do a recovery mode.... I bought the Mac version of Premiere Elements, can I get the Windows version for free or cheap with my serial number? I'm about to migrate back to PC soon and I'd love to not have to buy the program again since I just bought it. Under my order history though it only shows it for Mac so I wanted to make sure.

The boxed packaging is not sold by Adobe direct. If you want to explore that type of purchase which offers the perk of a Windows and a Mac installation disc, you need to purchase from an authorized reseller who is not going to offer you "upgraded pricing". The seller would be its own entity with its own pricing and own return/refund policy. Sometimes the authorized reseller price may be less than the Adobe"upgraded pricing".
Did you purchase your Premiere Elements 13 Mac from Adobe direct and are within 30 days of purchase? If so, you can contact Adobe Chat Orders to ask for return/refund. And, then you can explore the authorized resellers for pricing and availability of the box packaging. Maybe check out the pricing all around before making any final decisions.

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link. -
I have made a burn folder with photos exported from I-photo. It now shows in information, that the date created and modified is different from the original digitized date. How can I get the original date to show in the info from Finder?
The Finder reports File information. The date and time of the photo are in the Photo's Exif metadata. The Finder has no awareness of this. All photos apps on any system do.

The voicemail system used for the iPhone is different from the voicemail system used on the rest of the Verizon Wireless network. When you activate the iPhone, you lose your saved voicemails from the other system. When you activate a non-iphone, you lose any saved voicemails from the iPhone voicemail system too.

In the iMovie 11 event library, how can I get the iPhoto video clips to combine with my camcorder pics listed below and in chronological order?
Try forcing iPhoto to load the Library on the External Hard drive by launching it while holding down the Option key. Choose the Library on the External HD, and quit iPhoto, see if iMovie can see the Library with the iPhoto Videos contained inside.

Your only choice is to place the phone in DFU mode (search Google for instructions) and restore as a new device. You will lose all your data.

For some reason, your Mac doesn't recognise that a keyboard is present, so it looks for a wireless keyboard. The question is, why doesn't your Mac recognise that a keyboard is attached?
First, you need to make sure you remove all peripherals, especially USB peripherals (the keyboard is on the USB bus). Then restart holding down the Shift key. This should boot in Safe mode. If the computer boots normally (not in safe mode) and the keyboard is still not working, try resetting the SMC
