If i get a passcode on ios 7 will it lock my ipod if my brother tries many times?

I have a little brother and I want to add a passcode lock to my iPod which as iOS 7 and I am afraid that if my little brother tries to get into my iPod he will try many times to get into my iPod and he will fail and he will lock my iPod forever to my question is if he tries many times will he lock my iPod forever

I do not believe this is accurate for iOS 7 where there are additional security provisions.  The process is more complicated and involves logging on to iCloud and removing your iPod from the Find My iPhone list.  (others will give you better directions).  In any case, be sure that Find My iPhone is turn on in your iCloud settings.  Otherwise you will not be able to do what is necessary.
