If I have a client who wants to cancel, how do they do this?

We have a client who has decided to have someone else host her site instead of business catalyst, how do we instruct her to cancel her account with you?  She has been paying you directly, we did not invoice her company.
Can someone give us some guidance?

Hi Bob,
In order to stop/cancel the site subscription and billing of any of your BC site,  you have to delete that particular site.
If site is Invoice Customer only then delete that from the admin Dashboard of the site. Site settings > Site Management.
If site is Invoice Partner only, then that can be deleted from BC Partner Portal. Partner Portal Link : http://www.businesscatalyst.com/Admin/Index.aspx?to=PartnerPortal
After deleting that site  your domain from that BC site will be deleted can be used on any other BC or External site.

P.S. Make sure you have backed up all your data, pages etc. from BC site before deleting it, once deleted it cannot be restored.

    I"m guessing you're used to having iChat in the Dock. It should still be in the Applications folder. either drag it to the dock or create an alias and drag that to the dock (I think that means some form of right or left clicking on the app, and make alias should come up). If not, then I dunno
    just a guess on this one...I didn't quite understand the question (maybe it's just me, though)

  • Do not want attachments embedded - how do I fix this problem?!?!?!

    I frequently have to send attachments in my mail messages (jpegs, tiffs, eps). However, every time I send attachments in jpeg, eps and tiff formats the recipient cannot download them. They are either invisible or embedded in the message - which I do NOT want. The only attachments that my clients seem to NOT have problems with are pdf's. How do I fix this problem? For now, whenever I have to send attachments in those formats, I have to switch over to Entourage. It does not make sense that this is a problem, since most designers use macs and have to deal with graphics on a daily basis, I am stunned that Mac is having this issue. I cringe that I have to switch to a Microsoft product in order to send certain e-mails. HELP!!!

    When I receive mail, there is no problem. Attachments that people send me show up in an attachment list at the top of their message, just like in Entourage. I can flip the triangle and see the list of file names in their attachments, and can drag from this list to the location where I want to put a copy of the file. The fact that the image itself shows up at the bottom of the message isn't a problem (and is sometimes a benefit).
    But when sending mail, it is very hard for me to compose my message. I can't control the attachments, and can't review the names of the files that I have included just before hitting "send".
    Here is the Entourage format, which is what I really want. There is a place to put the attachments where they are independent of the message. I can drag a new attachment to this list any time while writing my message.

I even tried deleting iMovie, bought a new copy and installed it, but the folder "iPhoto Videos" is still there and I can't get new clips loaded to iMovie, especially where I want them. Please help.

    The iPhoto Videos do occasionally have problems. I've seen a lot of people write messages to this Discussion group describing similar problems. The only thing that seems to get around this problem is to pull the video clips out of iPhoto then import them directly into iMovie. Once the troubles with iPhoto Videos starts, I haven't yet seen anyone write back with something that they did to fix it.
    The most difficult part of doing this is the movies in iPhoto might be a little difficult to track down. But you can create a smart alum that does that for you. Go to iPhoto > File Menu > New Smart Album:
    Set the first pulldown menu to keyword, second to contains, then in the last box type Movie with a capital 'M'. Then click OK. This smart album more or less does as search of the whole iPhoto Library and only displays items that match your search tearm of "Movie" exactly. In that smart album then you can find the original Movies you want to move out of iPhoto and into iMovie, <CTRL> click on the Movie clip, then choose Reveal in Finder. That will jump you out of iPhoto temporarily and into the iPhoto Library folder. From there you can move that movie file to the desktop. Move all the clips you want, once they're all collected up go to iMovie and go to the File Menu > Import Files. Then point it to the desktop where you moved your video clips.
    This will put all those videos into an Event folder in iMovie and bypass iPhoto Videos altogether.

    You most likely just have Shake to shuffle turned on.
    Shake can be disabled in two ways to prevent accidental activation of the feature:
    Setting the hold switch on the top of the iPod nano to on.
    Turn off the Shake feature by choosing Settings > Playback on iPod nano (4th and 5th generation). For iPod nano (6th generation), from the Home screen, tap Settings > Music and then tap the On/Off switch next to "Shake to Shuffle".

    I have no hub (not even a USB one), or any other Firewire Video devices. I have the iSight connect into the only port that is available on my iBook G4.
    I have noticed that it stops working when my iBook goes to sleep. I am going to turn it of next time I take the laptop home and see if a cold reboot helps. If so it could be that the Firewire buss is disconnecting during sleep mode and not coming back on once the system is woken up. The only caveat to this salutation is that I never had that problem when I used my Canon Video Camera as a Web Cam.
    It’s just annoying to have to fiddle with the thing every time I want it to work.
