If i have a form with check boxes. Can I add a button that will display the boxes that the user selected on a new page?

For example, there are 10 check boxes and the user selects 5 of those boxes. Then they click a submit button. Just the information from those boxes would be displayed so they can print it. Is this possible? Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.

That is definitely possible.
Option 1: checkboxes are all named differently.
In the click event for the submit button, add some code like this...

Hi all,
I built a new site using Muse, which I am very happy with so far, but I am finding the forms a bit limiting. The previous website, which I am replacing with the new muse site, was built using Dreamweaver. The old site had a form with check boxes and it pointed to a PHP directory. Is there a way to acheive the same results in Muse? Either a form widget update (without having to use BC), or a simple way to configure Muse to interact with my PHP directory? I'm not a coder, but I can manage some light work.

Thanks Morgan! Jotform is in the realm of possiblities; however, the company the site is for has a very strict privacy policy, which might be a concern when looking at free form builders. I should have mentioned that before.
I beleive the best way to acheive what I'm trying to do is by linking the existing PHP directory to the new Muse site. The existing form built in Dreamweaver works fine, I just need to get the same form to work in Muse. Is there a way to do that?

Tree UI with Check box for parent/child selection.

Hello experts,
I need to create a tree UI to display a hierarchy of nodes, but as a business requirment it is needed to have a checkbox in each node/element of the tree, so if I select a parent node (I mean checking it), all it's child nodes must also be checked and their corresponding elements.
Also if I select a child element, all the parent nodes must be checked all the way up to the root node.
If the user selects a child node, all subsecuent nodes/elements must be checked, and the parents of the child node selected also.
Basically like the functionality when installing software on a PC where the user selects components to install (like office), this is just the concept behind what we mean to accomplish.
The nodes are NOT recursive.
How can I accomplish that?

I am having a problem with check boxes showing as all selected after downloading as a pdf after individual submits their form with just a few actually selected.

The forms themselves don't have all the boxes checked when viewed in FormsCentral. It is only after I download it as a pdf that the problem occurs. I have to check and uncheck each box in the FormsCentral in order to not have that occur. Any suggestions?

How to Show data in grouping with check boxes.

In Employee, Department relationship i need to show data in a grouping of departments like for Marketing department all the related employees should come in a single column.

You can create two value nodes for storing these collections. The first one would be singleton node as it is the main list. Under that create the second node with singleton = false.
e.g.

When I click the iCloud button I get a browser with check boxes, not slider buttons and it does not have a "backup and storage" button. So I cannot set up backup.

When I open my iCloud browser it looks different than "normal." It shows the list with check boxes, not slider on-off buttons. It dos not show a "storage and backup" button so I cannot set up my backup. What is wrong?

If see something like the image below it's because you are looking at the iCloud settings on your Mac, not on an iOS device (which has sliders). Storage & Backup isn't in the Mac settings because you cannot back up your Mac to iCloud. Only iOS devices can back up to iCloud. On a Mac, you can get information about your iCloud account storage by looking at the green usage bar at the bottom and by clicking the "Manage..." button on the bottom right.

A classical report is a program that generates a single list, which must contain all of the required detail information.
1) This procedure may result in extensive lists from which the user has to pick the relevant data.

The ALV Grid Control is a tool with which you can output non-hierarchical lists in a
standardized format. The list data is displayed as a table on the screen.
The ALV Grid Control offers a range of interactive standard list functions that users need

Cases arise in sap when the output of a report contains columns extending more than 255 characters in length.
In such cases, this set of ALV functions can help choose selected columns and arrange the different columns from a report output and also save different variants for report display. This is a very efficient tool for dynamically sorting and arranging the columns from a report output.
The report output can contain up to 90 columns in the display with the wide array of display options.
The commonly used ALV functions used for this purpose are;
1. REUSE_ALV_VARIANT_DEFAULT_GET
2. REUSE_ALV_VARIANT_F4
3. REUSE_ALV_VARIANT_EXISTENCE
4. REUSE_ALV_EVENTS_GET
5. REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE
6. REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE
7. REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY
8. REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY
9. REUSE_ALV_POPUP_TO_SELECT
Purpose of the above Functions are differ not all the functions are required in all the ALV Report.
But either no.7 or No.8 is there in the Program.
How you call this function in your report?
After completion of all the data fetching from the database and append this data into an Internal Table. say I_ITAB.
Then use follwing function module.

The object F_IT_ALV has a field, the activity ACTVT, which can
contain four permitted values: 01, 02, 03 and 70. Each of the
activities 01, 02 and 70 controls the availability of particular
functions (in the menu and the toolbar) of the ALV line item list:
a) 01: "Settings -> Display variant -> Save..."
b) 02: "Settings -> Display variant -> Current..." and
"Settings -> Display variant -> Current header rows "
c) 70: "Settings -> Display variant -> Administration..."
Activity 03 corresponds to the minimum authorization, which is the
most restricted one: The user can only select layouts which have
been configured already. In particular, all of the other functions
named above are inactive with activity 03.
Now if you want to permit a user to change the column selection and
the headers as well as to save the layout thus created, for example,
but if you do not want to permit the user to administrate the
layouts, you grant him or her the authorization for activities 01
and 02.

I am Displaying Material Master Data in ALV Grid Display with Check Box for each record and if i checked check box then i am processing Update operation in Database, my question is after perform update operation check box should be clear.

Given the fact that you do not tell us the most important piece of information (namely whether you are using OO-based ALV or not) I assume you are using fm-based ALV lists.
In this case you probably have defined a USER_COMMAND routine as described in the documentation of the fm.

Validating forms using check boxs

hi i am trying to validate a form using check boxs where all of the elements have the same name. Using the code below it enables validation when only one check box is available, however with muliple check-boxs it goes into and eternal loop and never executes the code! Any help on this matter would be most appreciated.

Hi,
I want to make a grid with check box. I want to have two column in the grid. One column of the grid will show some column name of a table and the other column will contain check box. If I tick the check box of a the selected row of the grid then the value (e.g. Y or N) will store in the particulr table.

Hi Experts,
I have an ALV grid display with check box.
I need to display the ALV with only check box. I don't need the Grid towards the left.
So can anyone tell me how to avoid the Grid which is at the left.
I am using "REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY" Function Module.

How to create a tree structure with check boxs using Windows Activex Control?

Hi,
I am very new to LabVIEW. I am trying to create a tree structure with Check Boxes like the below. It would be great if someone would show me a right direction to go forward.
The aim is to select the item and one by one i have to get the Path and give as an input to by application VI.

Sorry i pasted the Picture.. Pls find the attached picture.
Following are my requirement:
1) I need to populate a tree given a root directory, listing all the Folders and file of cetain pattern(*.pjt... ther will be only one *.pjt in every subfolders).
2) I need a check box for every *.pjt to select the its path. The list of pjt files selected are used for my automation test suit.
Pls let me know if you need more info.

If i have a form with check boxes. Can I add a button that will display the boxes that the user selected on a new page?
