My iPod is broken.

Go to your local Apple store and bring your iPod to the Genius Bar. If they can they'll fix it. If not, you'll probably get a replacement for no charge. Unfortunately, I've been there, done that, several times with my 4th gen 40 MG.

Full price. Warranty covers only manufacturing defects, not you losing the iPod.
Perhaps homeowners insurance of your credit card plan, if you used a credit card to purchase the original iPod, might cover all or part of the cost.

You shouldn't be using the same account on phone iphones. Have him setup his own and make sure his iCloud is logged in with that one

You should be able to click on the album's price and the price should be automatically deducted from your balance - unless you are gifting the album, in which case your credit card will br charged (you can't gift via an acocunt's balance).

Do I have Rosetta, and how do I use it?

I am trying to run black and white the game.
I have found that i need to use rosetta to run a game that is set only to run with powerpc macs.
I have looked up how to find rosetta and followed these steps i found in help:
Quit the application if it is open.
In the Finder, select the application and choose File > Get Info.
In the General pane, select “Open using Rosetta.”
Open the application.
But cant seem to find it on the computer anywhere.
If i'm totally on the wrong track please tell what i should be doing to run this game.

I have just figured out that I can open other applications using rosetta however when i try to use black and white the option to open with rosetta is not there.
I'm pretty however, that the game can run on an intel mac as i've done quite a bit or research.
Is there another way to open rosetta or a different program to use?

I recently bought a new iMac as well as a wireless time capsule and have it connected how can I use this external drive as the location to store all my files for iTunes, or is this even possible?

New iMac user here, I recently bought a new iMac and Time capsule and have the whole network up and running now. I have connected another external HD to the time capsule as well and have a total of 3 TB of storage connected wireless to my new iMac. My question is can I use this location as the default location for iTunes? I doubt I am gonna run out of room considering the iMac has 1 TB of storage already, but I'd prefer to keep my movies and music off the Mac to keep it running smoothly. If this is possibly, I'd like to do this with iPhoto as well.

I would advise against placing your iTunes library on a Time Capsule.
The Time Capsule is designed as a backup device and not for wireless streaming of video.
Before you do anything more, can I suggest you put into place a reliable, redundant backup strategy.
Unless you are prepared to risk loss of your iTunes library due to a hard drive failure, I would not put iTunes on the Time Capsule.
Leave your iTunes library on your iMac until such time as your internal drive is full. Backup to Time Capsule using Time Machine and create a clone of your internal iMac HD to your external drive.
That's my 2 cents worth. Others may have a different opinion.

I have two (2) iPod Touch and I recently updated one to iOS5. Both of them are linked on my Apple ID account and I haven't updated yet the other one. But I will like to know if I could use iMessage on both iPods separated with the same Apple ID account. I will like to know if I can use them separated on the iMessage APP in the same account... if not.... if I can make another account for use the iMessage separately and use both account on the ipod Touch and/or change them for the APPS download.

I have Mountain Lion OS X CD installation files downloaded on my external hard drive from another Mac that I have owned.
How do I use my external HD to download and Install Mountain OS X wizard.
Is the only way to do this to buy a copy of snow leopard and then once upgrading to that, plug in my external HD and then access the Mtn install file as I would if I had the installation CD?
When I try to access the install file from my external HD, i get to the installation window and then when I am to select a hard drive to install it on I receuve a red exclamation mark error that says it can not be written to the HD. Why is this? Because I'm not on snow leopard but rather leopard?

As you have the installer on a DVD, you can do a trick that consists in formatting the hard drive, and then, install Mountain Lion.
First, make a backup of your files with Time Machine > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1427 I recommend Time Machine because it will be easier to restore your files later.
Then, insert the DVD with Mountain Lion and hold the C key while your Mac is starting, so you will see a window with different options. Open Disk Utility, choose Macintosh HD in the sidebar, go to Erase tab and erase the drive.
After erasing the drive, you can install Mountain Lion. Close Disk Utility and install it. During the initial setup, it will ask you to restore your files, so plug the external drive with the backup and follow its steps. Note that PowerPC apps aren't compatible

How can I use a windows netbook as a wireless hard drive for a Macbook Pro?

I have an old Acer Aspire One netbook sitting around and a 2TB WD hard drive that I use with my Macbook Pro 15" running Mavericks. I was wondering if anyone had an ideas how I could wirelessly access the netbook with the WD external HD attached from the Macbook Pro. Furthermore does anyone have any ideas how I can use the netbook as an airplay client so I can stream my Mac, iPad, or iPhone to my netbook which would be plugged via VGA into a TV?

Download and install the airport utility for windows.. it isn't strictly necessary but the bonjour service makes life easier.
The request for username and password is correct. Username is whatever you like.. but windows needs it.. so admin.. being the common router one.. password by default is public unless you changed it.
Now to get the TC to work properly..
1. The names should be SMB compliant.. by default they are wrong.. use short names, no spaces no special characters.. pure alphanumeric. That is for TC name and wireless names.
2. Wireless passwords should also be same use WPA2 private.
3. In the disk sharing page.. manual setup.. put in the windows workgroup name.. ie WORKGROUP.. this helps the discovery process.
4. In the same area, turn on the guest account to read and write.. not necessary but helps with later versions of windows particularly.
5. Access the drive by using the direct IP address. ie in Windows Explorer address bar, \\10.0.1.1 (or whatever IP the TC is at).

How can i use the webcam in the VMware fusion?

I am using Windows XP with VMware fusion in my MacBook( OS X 10.5.1). Everything is good except the webcam. I have no idea how can I use the webcam(built in MacBook). Can someone give me more information about that? Thanks a lot!

Not sure I quite understood your question? However, I am running Win XP in VMWare Fusion an all the peripherals such as Bluetooth, IR Receiver and the webcam are identified as USB device and are therefore supported. No problem to use it with Messenger, Skype or Trillian. The only thing you have to do is to click on one of the small USB symbols in the lower right corner of the VMWare status line in order to enable it for the use in VMWare. That's it.
