If i have already logged in my iTunes with my iPod and plugged that in, but now i have a new iPod and I want to plug that in to my laptop how would i do that with out losing anything on my new iPod and my old one. Both my ipods are on different accounts?

If no change after restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup, there is a hardware problem.

How did you get the unlock for your 3GS? If you recently updated to
iOS 6 and your SIM stopped working after the update, the most
likely reason is that your iPhone had been hacked/jailbroken/modified
to work with your Carrier and the update relocked the iPhone to the
original Carrier.
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>Carrier?
If it does not name your current cellular provider, then the scenario
is as I laid out above. In this situation, Google may help as you can
get no assistance here for jailbroken iPhones.
If that is not the problem, give some more details and someone will
answer.

You cannot install Lion on a Mac with 10.5 Leopard, only a Mac with 10.6 Snow Leopard. The only way to get Lion on your Mac with Leopard is to put the Lion installer on a USB thumb drive/ext HDD, completely erase the HDD of your Mac with Leopard and then install Lion on the empty HDD with the Lion USB thumb drive. The problem with this is that you will loose everything on the Mac when you erase it unless you have a backup somewhere.

I am moving from a mac to pc (i know, not many people do this, but it's for work) and I would like to transfer my itunes library with all of the iphone backups, playlist, playcounts, etc. over. Can I restore my iphone backups from the mac on the pc? How would I do that? How would I make sure all of my metedata for itunes is transferred properly as well?

I've recently tried updating my IPhone to the prompted 6.0.1 multiple times over that last few months. I connect the phone and click the update icon only to wait hour after hour for it to do nothing.
Once I let set my computer up to stay on so that the phone could update while I was at work and when I came home that evening there was still no change.

I was able to fix mine. I went to software update and updated a few things. I did not update everything, but only what I thought were the essentials, which I believe was Safari, a security update, and a firmware update.
Then I deleted and reinstalled Itunes yet another time. Now the itunes store is back up again.

Mozilla, like many other software companies, thoroughly test their software before releasing it to the public and I'm sure that no problem you are having is intentional.
I do not work for Mozilla but I do have experience of releasing software for public usage.
Firefox has no way of knowing what other software is already on your computer and with millions of combinations it isn't always possible to test for every scenario.
You can go back to the old version of Firefox but that won't always solve your problem.
