If I have multiple installations of adobe software, can I just delete earlier version?

I purchased and installed cs6 production premium, because I needed video editing. I had previously purchased and installed cs5.5 design premium for photo and web editing. Now I have multiple copies of certain adobe applications in my application folder (ex. Bridge, Extension Manager, Flash, Illustrator, Media Encoder, Photoshop). Can I just delete the previous version? Will I lose any custom settings (like in Photoshop)? Do they both access the same files / file structure? Is there any advantage / disadvantage to keeping both? Etc, Etc...
My OS is OSX 10.7.4.

No. Different versions operate independently and therefore use independent configuration data etc.

Compatibility! Third party plug-ins may not yet be updated for CS6 (if you use any). That aside, CS6 is full of bugs. You can't evade the mess that is After Effects, prelude etc. since your CS6 versiosn are your only ones, but you might actualyl be glad to have CS5.5 around for Photoshop, Illustrator, AME etc. if something doesn't work in CS6... Feel free to rid yourself of CS5.5, if you think none of that is relevant.

Mavericks seems to have broken all my adobe programs, can I instal the previous version of osx?

I recently instaled mavericks and the new premier upgrade, there seems to be a permisions issue going on, all of my adobe programs seem broken, the import/ export does not work, dont know what to do, is there anyway that I can re instal snow leoopard? I am loosing money every day I cant edit video.

The new machine has Mavericks which is fine. And I will leave it as is. I don’t want anything from my old machine other than 2 apps that I will need on the new one. I want to be able to install those apps that I bought from the App Store onto my new computer. I assume Apple doesn’t want me to have the apps installed on 2 machines at the same time so I wonder if just uninstalling them from my old machine will release them for re-install on the new one.

Do you want to print several different photos per page or multiples of the same photo?
If you want to print several different photos,select them all at once and press command-P for "Print". Pick the Custom Layout and adjust the photo size suitably.
If you want multiples of the same photo, duplicate the photo several times and select all copies at once, then press command-P.

Thank you for the help. Every app on my phone was downloaded using my old I-tunes ID. I just hope that they will re-download under my new ID because I still can't change it on my phone. In order to change to the new ID it says I have to sign out from the old ID and change to the new one. My problem is that I don't remember my password to be able to sign out from my old ID. Then the phone says it can change my password through e-mail and I agree but I never get an e-mail at my old address or the new one.

Understand the uninstall process BUT ...
Looking at the size of the previous versions vs. the CC 2014 versions, it seems that these newer (2014) versions are smaller in size ... with the exception of SpeedGrade.

Thank you - I was able to sign in under my husband's email address. I still cannot seem to figure out how to download the Adobe Pro software to my computer as I had done for my original computer. I do have a version of Adobe on my new computer, just not the Pro version that is on my old computer. I am occasionally not able to access the internet during travel, but need to have the appropriate software on my laptop so as to be able to work on documents while not connected to the internet.
