If I have purchased OS X 10.7 for my Mac Mini, do I have to purchase it again for my Mac Book?
I have a Mac Mini that I have purchased OS X Lion for and I have a Mac Book that I want to update to Mountain Lion, but it still has Leopard running on it so I have to get Lion before I can upgrade to Mountain Lion. The question is since I already bought Lion for my Mac Mini can I download it to my Mac Book without paying again.
By opening the Mac App Store, logging in with an Apple ID used to purchase it, clicking on the Purchases tab, and downloading it from there.

Yes you do have enough storage, you only need let's say 10GB to properly install Windows with a few (very small) programs. You'd be best of just going to a store and buying a Windows 7 install DVD (not an upgrade one!), or using one that you might have laying around at home. You can also purchase Windows 7 via the Microsoft online store and than burn it to a DVD. It is possible that installing from a USB-drive works, but I have not tried this yet.

I just purchased a Mac Mini. I HAVE to have a working web cam. I've been reading web cam reviews and I haven't found one that has a Mac driver. It sounds like the performance on Macs are bad. 2 of the reviews are positive. If I understood it right, one guy made some settings changes on his comp. to make it work. I'm new to Macs and can hardly believe that Mackintosh hasn't produced a single portable web cam in all the years they've been in use.
Actually I'm pretty sure that Apple did produce a webcam, tho' it was some years ago. Most USB webcams should work fine. If you HAVE to have one, and know that it will work, then get an Apple Cinema Display or Thunderbolt Display - price tags are pretty hefty tho'!

Just bought Samsung S22B310B computer monitor and hooked it up to my mac mini. I have my mac set to the 1920X1080 resolution but the entire screen (21.5") is not filled. How do fill the screen? it fills the screen on other resolution settings. I have it hooked up regularly and not to the DVI hook up. I'm not a computer savvy person please help!
That monitor supports both (digital) DVI and (analog) VGA connections, so you should not need a converter or use a different adapter.
You should use the Apple Supplied HDMI to DVI Adapter and a (digital) DVI cable to the monitor. -

My 3 external hd's are 500GB (total 1.5TB) and my Mac Mini is 500GB (Time Capsule is connected to this). I want to be able to have all the content from all these sources stored on my Time Capsule as if I only had 1 external drive. Is this possible? It is my understanding that when Time Machine backs up my Mac Mini I have to have my external drives connected since my Mac Mini does not have enough space on it to hold all the content on the exgternal hd's. I can only connect 1 external hard drive at a time and I want to get rid of them and consolidate.
And having to go back in time to search for files on 1 external hard drive and then back in time for the other external hard drive is not the most efficient thing to do. I would like it all in one place.

Since my G5 died I was thinking about getting a Mac Mini, but I have a ViewSonic Monitor (from 2004) and a USB keyboard and mouse - I also have the external drive that I downloaded my files on to. Do you think the monitor, keyboard and mouse will work on it? Would I have to get a hub so I could use the stuff I already have? Is that viewsonic too old to work on it?
What else would I need? Please advise...Yes for keyboard and mouse.
The monitor will work if it has an HDMI, VGA ir DVI input. If it only has a VGA input you will need this adopter

I converted from a PC to a Mac Mini. I have my PC documents backed up on a DVD disk. I have an external DVD drive connected to the Mac Mini. I want to open these documents up from the DVD storage and save them to the Mac, BUT....when I put the DVD disk in the Mac is NOT reading it!

Thanks for your quick response. I should add....it worked before. When I previously inserted the two DVDs into this remote drive, and I went into finder, I could click on the "remote device" line and see all my saved documents (excel, word, etc) on the DVD and open them on the Mac. Now I cannot see them, when I try to open them on the Mac, nothing happens, nothing is displayed. I just re-tested the remote DVD drive with a CD and, no problem, it opened up the CD via iTunes and I cold play the CD. SO......I know the remote DVD drive (it's an LG by the way) is fine, it's something to do with some settings on my mini mac,especially where I could open it previously. I do not remember changing any settings since then.
When I go into system preferences and click on CD/DVD it gives me options of how to open up a music CD (default is iTunes), a DVD (default is iMovie), etc. The problem is my DVD is all miscellaneious files/documents. I just want to be able to see them in the finder. I also tried to open them via microsoft word, from the remote disk and again, it could not open the drive, even though some of the documents were microsoft word documents. Again, I was able to open them previously and the DVD is not corrupted in any way.
Any additional advice?

My HP (USB connected) and Epson (wireless) printers keep losing their connection with my Mac mini. I have to physically disconnect the HP and then reconnect for the Mac to find it. Turning off the wireless Epson doesn't resolve anything. All software/drivers have been updated.

You appear to be confusing Macs and iOS devices. The Mac mini does not run on iOS 4, if new, it has Mac OS X 10.6.x Snow Leopard.
You should sort out the profile that you show so we know what devices you have with which proper OS and then be much more explicit about what the problem is. -
