If I have to reset?

I connected my linksys E1000 21 months ago and after resolving a set up error I made never have had to make a change.
I have added a printer, second laptop and three Kindles with no problem. It always has excellent signal strength.
When I set the router up I used the CD and was looking for a network called ATTsomething or other (their info was wrong) and instead saw a network that I didn't recognize with an animal + color name. I changed the network name to one of my own liking and lost my wireless connection. I called for help and the tech helped me regain control by connecting a cable from the computer and the router and typing 192.168.1.1 into a browser. He also had me make additional changes manually and "Any kind of manual changes or manual installation of the Router makes the Cisco Connect stops working"
I finally may need to access the router to add new guest accounts
I have no idea what I used for user name and password when I last accessed the router.
If I made no change at that time could the user name still be blank and the password admin?
I changed the password to used connect new equipment and know that. Would that have become the new password?
If I have to reset the router what are the next steps.
I am doing all this because I may need to access the router to add new guest accounts.

You should download the Cisco Connect software intended for the model and version number of your router. By the way, it is true that if you reinstall Cisco Connect it would not change anything but would ask you what the current settings are for your router and you need to input those settings while the setup is running for the software to sync with your router.

Okay so my phone crashes approximately every 30 seconds. I have tried resetting it by DPU as well as on the phone itself. Once in awhile i get an error message about unknown error 1. When I called the support at AT&T they think the phone is shot and it is a hardware thing but i have a hard time believing that when it happened when I sync'd it to my computer. It did get progressively worse though, at first it crashed not that often and then got worse. So restores are failing, recovery, everything. Anyone run into this?

I have a Mac G4 double mirrored model and everytime I shut it off it will not go on when I hit the power off button. However, if I unplug and plug in the power cord it boots fine and everything is OK. The PMU and logic board have been reset. Any ideas?

That's often a sign of a bsad Capacitor in the Power Supply, but...
Might be time to replace the PRAM Battery, 4 years is close to their lifespan, far less if ever without AC power, & can cause strange startup problems...

Youtube was removed by Apple in iOS 6. Safari should not be removed. Try restoring your iPod in iTunes. You should then get Safari back. Also, there is a Youtube app in the App Store. It's in the free section of the Top 25.

I had same problem. I removed the back cover, and warmed wi-fi module by hairdryer of my wife). five days wi-fi works great. I do not know what will happen next.

Ipod 4thgen shuts down completely (have to reset it) when connected to car.

I hooked up a ipod cable to the cd changer input of my pioneer head unit...the cable does not support charging (but that is ok)...what happend is that the ipod will just randomly shut down and I will have to reset it with the computer...what is up?...is it the ipod?...the cable?...could it be the power wire in the cable is getting funky surges and the ipod shuts down to protect itself?...I wired it to the same power source as the head unit and grounded it to the same place as well...

It should not be "wired up" anywhere. The cable is plugged into the iPod and the head unit.

My headphone jack doesn't work all the time either so some times my kids can hear their games and sometimes they can't. I am super frustrated at this point. So any suggestions would be great. Am I missing something basic or do we just have a soundless iPad now?

However, once this is done (and it does successfully transfer my first gen phone apps, photos, texts, calendar, etc-etc to my 4s), my 4s phone no longer has 4g data like it did prior to syncing - it doesn't recognize my data plan at all. The only way I can access the internet is through my wi-fi. So then I have to reset to factory settings and re-plus my personal settings into the 4s but then I lose everything from the first gen transfer. Any thoughts and/or recommendations/suggestions?
