If I have uninstalled Photoshop because of issues. Will that keep me from re-installing it again?

I was having issues with Photoshop freezing up. I uninstalled it so I could re-install it. I have been getting error messages when trying to re-install. Does Creative Cloud only let you install an application once?

I have been getting the "Installation Failed" message.
I am re-installing again and it is about 75% of the way done. If I get another error
Message, I will take a screen shot and send it to you.
The second time it failed I used the Adobe Support Advisor and it said there was a
"bootstrap error" and that I needed to restart and I did that.
We'll see if that helped.

You might have installed Creative Cloud desktop app before installing Photoshop CC 2014. All you need to do is to launch Creative Cloud Desktop app and look for Photoshop CC 2014 and click on Install.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
You may have more success if you use the advice in the Install missing components section to break down the installer into its component .msi files and install these in alphabetical order.

How do I get the "new tab" request to simply open with a blank address in the address box instead of www.imesh.com.

Ok, I finally managed to get rid of it.
First I did the thing with the about:config but I flitered for imesh instead and managed to reset two thing but when I got to the keyword.URL I got the same thing as lolbabe98 did with the "An attempt to change your search engine or homepage was blocked."
Then I did a search on my C: drive for iMesh and discovered some things that hadn't been removed even though I had unistalled both the toolbar and the actual program. After that it worked fine and I now have a regular "untitled" tab when I open a new tab.
One last thing, when I tried to remove some of the files there was one that said it was in use, it was called datamanagerUI or something rather. The only thing I had to do there was to open Task Manager and kill a process called DATAMN~1 and I was able to remove it. Hope this helps.

Did you ever find a solution to this problem because I have it too. I have gotten used to it when listening to movies etc., although it can startle me, but I find it very irritating when I am trying to record something off my computer, like a quiet meditation, onto a voice memo, and this happens…I have to start over and hope it doesn't keep happening.

When you have downloaded it, then clean out the old adobe reader and then try to install the latest one, i had to do this about a week ago and it solved the problem.

did u ever get a solution to this? I have the same 2012 mines 27". It drops after sleep sometimes and can't find anything. Wifi. Connection to the Internet. I pull up network assistant it just gives me blank stares and restart everything. It doesn't even see the time machines and they are still there. I have it right now in full error and my iphones allowing me to see everything as connected and I'm posting here in the forum while my iMac cannot. Doesn't happen all the time. Not sure why it happens or what's goinng on with It. Works great and then sudden wifi failure to recognize.
