hey apple users. if i deactivate my iphone because i got a new phone, can someome else put thier sin card in my old iphone and then it will work again? or does the phone stop working all together if i deactivate the phone on the support page?
Do this first:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5661
Then whoever gets the phone just sets things up again using their Apple ID. -
I have changed my Apple ID name and I want to change it on iCloud, however I am not able to delete the previous account because I need to turn off the Find my iPhone - and for that I need to log in with the old name and that is not working. Help anyone?

I have a new laptop and want to transfer my itunes music across from the old one. What's the easiest /quickest method?
Refer to this article:
iTunes: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive

I tried using itunes on his computer and it transferred his pictures and 25 of his 34 songs. None of the apps transferred so when we got to where we had wi-fi I enabled ICloud on both ipods. The new ipod shows where the original was backed up but it didn't add anything to the new ipod. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.
If he still has his or your itunes user and password on his iTunes app, iTunes should let you redownload it again FREE OF CHARGE. Any paid apps you already paid for, will reinstall for FREE.
OR if u have iCloud for that iPod.... try these links:

Has anyone else had the same problem with a new phone and new telephone number?
I would delete all data from the phone and restore as new. I assume the phone is unlocked. Then I would get the SIM card from the carrier I want to use and activate the SIM with the carrier and po my phone number across. After that I would use the SIM card in the phone and activate the phone using iTunes, a computer and the setup assistant that will pop up in iTunes and you should be good to go. I don't know what you did when you got into the trouble you now have.

The new Fox tab feature got rid of my old fox tab and all of its pages. I didn't request the installation and have lost all of my links, I really want it back.
You can get previous versions of FoxTab from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/foxtab/versions/
If FoxTab is not working properly, you can contact FoxTab support - http://www.foxtab.com/contactus/ -
Hallo,
DankeThere is only one solution. Each user must have their own separate user account. All of their respective data would be contained in their separate user accounts. This also means each will have a separate iTunes Library. If you all use the same third-party apps, then each will have to purchase their own copies under their own Apple IDs. Some data sharing is possible. See:
iTunes- How to open an alternate iTunes Library file or create a new one
iTunes- How to share music and video
iTunes- How to share music between different accounts on a single computer

-> Update Firefox to the latest version

Starting with the release of Firefox 9, the previous versions of Firefox (4.0.x, 5.0.x, 6.0.x, 7.0.x, 8.0.x) are no longer maintained with Security and Stability updates. Firefox 3.6 is the last previous Firefox version that is still being maintained.
Firefox versions 4.0.x, 5.0.x, 6.0.x, 7.0.x, 8.0.x contain Security Vulnerabilities that are known and could be exploited by some websites to gain unauthorized access to information or to disrupt critical processing. I changed my AppleID and when using iTunes from my iPad, it reflects my old ID and states invalid id or password.
Sign out of the old one and into the new one.
Anything purchased on the old one will still be tied to that account.
iPad 2 User Guide (For iOS 4.3 Software) -
iphone 4 using apps such as CNN and Revision 3. Click the icon on a video that selects Apple TV. Get the sound for the app on ATV2 but do not get the video.
this used to work. Do not see any options that need to be changed.Due to Apple HAVING to work with the "big boys" when it comes to distributing music and videos, the HAVE to be strict about how their devices work to appease the labels. Thus there are rules about how the iPhone and iPods sync to avoid piracy.
With that said, as you have read elsewhere, backups are your responsibility. It is not Apple's fault that you failed to maintain proper backups of your computer. The iPhone and iPod are not marketed as a backup device, the extend your library allowing you to take a licensed copy with you.
Now, if you turn off auto sync in iTunes. Sign into iTunes store (on computer) then connect iPhone. Then from file menu choose to transfer purchased content, it WILL take off any content you bought via the iTunes store (because it can see you own it by your account info). Any other content you got from rips or from another source, will be lost.

I have been told my macbook does not have enough gb for Lion. and that i can not keep my mobile me mail without lion. so does this mean I have to drop mobile me and get another email address?
You probably know that mobilme goes away in June this year. There are two ways to access your mail account on iCloud, either through Lion or via the web. Web access won't get you to all the benefits of iCloud but will allow you to get to Mail, Contacts, Calendar, and Find My iPhone. See this FAQ: http://www.apple.com/mobileme/transition.html
If you decide to go with Lion, the maximum memory you can install is 4GB, however the system will only use 3GB, which is enough to run Lion. Lion requires 2GB, however, some have not been satisfied with it's performance in 2GB. One source for memory is OWC at http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/MacBook/DDR2/
