If I'm running Windows 7 and have Elements 3.0 incompatibility issues, is there a solution?

Elements 3.0 seems to function ok so far on Windows 7, but my backup to my Seagate (FreeAgent Go Classic) external drive fails due to errors caused by Elements 3.0. Is 3.0 so old that there is no available upgrade or solution? If so, can I upgrade to one of the new Adobe software programs at a discounted price?

There are no upgrade options. All versions are full versions.
Try backing up by copy and paste instead of using backup software.

My suggestion is DO NOT install FireFox5. I had FireFox 4 using Windows 7 and used WiseStamp successfully for a long time. When I upgraded to FireFox 5 I LOST my WiseStamp altogether. When I try to re-install WiseStamp, FireFox prevents it from downloading, even though I click "ALLOW" to have the download work. I'm waiting for a response from WiseStamp on how to proceed.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.

I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder that contains your catalog it's probably located in Pictures\Lightroom. In that folder you will find another folder with the extension .lrdata. You need to delete that folder and its contents, then start Lightroom again. And new previews folder will be created automatically, and you should be able to start using Lightroom normally.

Try the following steps:
1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:

I run windows 7 and have two monitors. I can't find a way to have Firefox open two different websites - one on each monitor. How can I do this?

I like to have Ancestry.ca open on one monitor and cut and paste from an online data base off the other monitor. I can't figure out how to do this.

Have you tried to make a new Window ( in "File" menu) and then drag the new window to the other screen?
It's a very simple solution. Unless there is another problem you haven't mentioned.

I cannot get my itunes software to recognize any device when plugged in. I have several steps in the msconfig but still can't get it to recognize. I am running windows 7 and have the latest version of itunes installed.

We also have an ipod touch and my new ipad - which I have not attempted to sync yet until this issue is resolved.

I was able to work the problem out by logging in as administrator. When the download was finished and extracted, a choice was offered to save rather than run. So I saved it on the desktop, and then right clicked on the icon, and selected "run as administrator". It then ran and installed with no problem.

If the hard drive that crashed is the one that stored the itunes library, be sure to restore the library from Time Machine (mac) or whatever backup you use on windows. That will get back your music. I suspect that the replacement drive has an empty itunes library and thus, perhaps, the itunes match used that to sync to its servers.
Try posting in the iTunes Match forum, you'll probably find more knowledgeable folks there.

I am unable to connect to the iTunes Store. This issue began yesterday, 3/11/13. I previously have been able to connect to the store successfully on this computer which runs Windows 7 and Security Center since November. I also used the iTunes Store on my previous computer for several years. I am able to connect to the store with my new iPod Touch 5th generation. I did a Google search for Error Code -1202 but did not find any pertinent results. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in troubleshooting this situation. Thank you!
