Love my iPod Touch.
I think I have owned every incarnation of the iPod since day one.
My last iPod video lasted one year and 7 days... no extended warranty
so this is the latest and definitely the best, lucky I own Apple stock so I can buy these toys.
But I digress.
What I wish for is:
1) a simple but effective database application
2) an e-reader application
Then I could leave my Palm TX at home.

This is a pretty incredible website. Evidently they are digitizing books that have outlived their copyright protection, as in all the classics. I have stumbled on this project before but only to download ebooks for free. This site does have its drawbacks. You must be connected to the internet, although it lets you download 'parts' which are made up of multiple chapters. You can then read the download offline.
There is a private and a public library. You can download your own books to your password protected private library to read online or download from at remote location. However, the formats are limited to ascii doc pdf html.
There is no ability to read pdb format which is the ereader file type. It definitely has possibilities though and worth checking out. Thanks for the tip. If I can make it work with my ebook collection I will be a happy camper and will keep you informed. Thanks again, good spot.

Unlikely. Based on the complete lack of detail of the issue provided it is entirely possible the same issue would occur.
Unless and until the user provides some actual details of the problem, there is nothing the indicate that the issue is with the iPhone.

My ipad 3 stopped charging, not the adapter and reboot doesn't do anything. I've tried all the tricks and different adapters and now my nearest Apple store is saying it just doesn't work and it'll be $300 to replace. Only had it 1 yr and half.

My ipad 3 suddenly stopped charging last week. I've tried different adapters, to no avail. I didn't drop it or spill anything on it. I don't have tons of apps, so plenty of memory. My husband took it to the Apple store for me and they tried charging it too even though I knew that wasn't the problem and then said it wasn't working (no kidding) and then told him it would be $300 to replace. Seeing as I've only had it for a year and a half and it cost more than twice that to begin with, I'm a little ticked that it stops charging, a problem I know is very common according the all the message boards and they want to charge me $300. I've always heard that Apple was so good to it's customers, but my iphone has been a nightmare, and now my ipad won't charge. Also, I've tried the reset options I've read about and none worked. Sorry, just really upset. I thought I was paying all this money for better quality and now I feel foolish for having done so. Anybody with any ideas I, or the genius at Apple haven't thought of? Could be the charger, cable or iPad. Plug the USB cable into your computer. It may say "Not Charging", however, it is charging slowly and will verify that the cable is good.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

This is either a Phone issue or an Electrical issue in your home.! when charging Do you always use the same electrical outlet? or did you try others..
You will know or should know if there are any issues with your other Electronics.. that you Plug into it..
If it is the s5 which it sounds like it could be then the Local Verizon store at there Discretion will determined if replacement is needed you have a 1 year Manufactures Warranty that covers for things like what your Describing I would take it too your local store see if they'll get you a Replacement or you may have to go through Samsung..

Your previous purchases are saved on iCloud even if you bought them on another computer. If you can't find them on your current computer, you might need to unhide them. Go to iTunes preferences, and click on Store Preferences. Then click the box for "show iTunes in the Cloud purchases". Then click on OK, and everything you've ever bought from iTunes on that Apple ID will show up in your library. You will need to download them from iCloud first before you can synch them to your iPod Classic. To do this, click on the little cloud with the arrow in it next to your song, and it will download to your computer. When you have the music that you want downloaded, plug in your iPod and synch away. Hope this helps!

I moived files either to trash if not needed, and others to other external drives. I went into disk utility and did a repair disk permission and verify disk. Clean out junk files. Now my hdtv/monitor does not give me any sound, nor does my mac mini. Can someone please tell me what to do?

Time needed can depend on several things.
• less than 5 GB free space on Start-up (Mac OS) hard disk = Redicolous long times AND a DVD that most probably will not work OK
Medicine - I never go under 25GB free space
• Use of strange file formats into iDVD - can force it to de-code first then re-encode - this can take long long times
I use
Video - StreamingDV as from miniDV tape Cameras - or QuickTime Movies Converted to StreamingDV
Audio - .aiff 16-bit 48 kHz - (no .mp3, .wma etc)
• Use of old Mac - My G4 600MHz took about 24 hour per hour movie. my dG5 - about 2 hours per hour (I use Pro Quality encoding)
• Pro Quality encoding - takes about x2 to process a movie

I'm thinking that you have a > Mac mini (Mid 2011) - Technical Specifications because the 2010 model's only have Core 2 Duo processors and the 2011 had the first i5 processor.
2 GB of RAM is the minimum requirement for Mountain Lion, but it's hardly enough to really enjoy doing anything else.

Word documents don't have a fixed page layout; Word reflows freely if it wants. This isn't normally a problem unless things like typing page numbers is done; avoid that.

As long as you enabled it when you first activated your Iphone, it's pretty straightforward. Using any computer, go to icloud.com. Sign in with your Apple ID. A screen will come up with a map showing the general location of your phone. If you have a friend with an iphone and are logged in using Safari, when you get close, you can tell your iphone to make a sound. Good luck.
