For surfing the web no. For writing documents you have a number of choices. Youu could buy microsoft word, it is very expesive but some do like it because it is the same as they have a t work. the second option and the one that I prefer is apple's Pages. It is available from the app store and is a very good full features program. The third and the free option is down load open office for mac, which is pretty much like microsoft wod.

I turn on the personal hotspot on the phone, connect to the ipad over wi-fi or bluetooth and surf the web flawlessly. I turn on the VPN on the ipad and cannot access my work network. I check the IP address of the phone prior to the connection of the VPN and it registers a VZW IP that the phone is supposed to broadcast. I turn the VPN in and the ipad reflects the VPN IP address that I'm trying to connect to back to the phone and THAT is what the phone tries to project. My RMS vendor and our network provider have both been identified as not being the culprit. I've spent about 8 hours on the phone with an IOS Senior Advisor and we are both perplexed by this. He has been gracious enough to maintain daily contact with me and he's forwarded it up to those higher than him.
This worked back in April of this year and quit working in May or June. That means it worked on IOS5 and quit working IOS 5.
Anyone else having these issues?

My iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and iPad 2 are running 6.1.3 with no such problem and the same with the overwhelming majority of iOS devices running 6.1.3.

When I try to open Safari, I get NCSW21 and that server can't be found. This happens everytime. I am using AirPort and have a strong internet signal. I have no problem opening Firefox and surfing the web. Only with the Safari page. Can anybody help.

I would suggest that you first follow the troubleshooting that the OP did in the second link, which is to test in a new user account to see if the behavior is consistent. If it is, you may need to address the issue at a software level by re-installing Safari. More information on this process can be found in the following article:

Cant burn a disc, cant play music and surf the web, cant cant cant ***

Ok so why is it that if I am listening to music with itunes I cant even do simple things without it skipping and sounding horrible. Also every time I try to burn my music to a disc I get an error “unknown disc error 4261” *** is this. oh I am using itunes 6 as I heard that 7 was far worse than this brilliant piece of work. Now how come I can use windows media player wile I use adobe premier and photo shop at the same time. I have a farly decent compi so why is it that itunes cant do anything worth wile other than put music on my ipod. btw my ipod is going to go on eBay just as soon as I can figure out how to get my paid for music from itunes onto cd. Itunes dosnt offer the ablility to chand the setting wile burning a disc or any of that. is there a special apple itunes cdr that I need to buy that cost $100 for a 2meg. What is an unknown disc error 4261 I cant even fix whats wrong and my compi says nothing is wrong. I am able to burn data disks for school no problem. I am trying to burn the music onto to light scribe cdr’s I did try some cheepo disks but that didn’t work so I figured it didn’t like the old disks and hey I can use the discs in my car so why not. Suggest that you ask Sky what type of wireless security that is used on the devices that they provide.
Once you have that information, you can choose the correct matching setting when you configure the AirPort Express to "join" the Sky wireless network.
The "password" would be the normal phrase that you use to connect to your wireless network at the present time.

Verizon is not a GSM carrier. Verizon and Sprint are CDMA carriers that have also recently adding an LTE (4G) network. The iPhone 5 is a combination LTE/GSM/CDMA network compatible phone.
ATT and T-Mobile are GSM carriers. ATT has also recently added an LTE network.
If you were able to talk and surf the web on Verizon's CDMA network with your iPhone previously, that was some trick which is not supported with a CDMA network as is supported with GSM 3G networks.

You want to delete several physical inventory documents, but this involves too much manual work, as the documents must be deleted individually in MI02.

Reason and Prerequisites
In the standard version, you can only delete inventory documents individually using Transaction MI02. A mass transaction or BAPI currently does not exist, and none is currently planned.
Solution
You can use standard functions to create a program that can delete several physical inventory documents at once. To do this:
1. In Transaction SHDB, create a new recording using MI02.
2. Also in SHDB, create a function module from the recording.
3. Create a program based on this function module. Define the selection screen based on your needs. You can also create your own transaction for the program, if necessary.
And I see the only way to delete the documents as per my knowledge is just MI02

Documents and Surfing

When I'm surfing the web on my macbook and want to follow a random link to just VIEW a document, if I click on it, it downloads. How can I just click on various internet links that have, say, pdf files behind them without them downloading to my macbook?
On my PC when surfing a webpage I can just click on the link to view the document. Then, however the document is set up, I can just click the "back" button or close the document without it downloading to my computer.

Dunk - I just tested it out and it does exactly what it should...click link > link opens > the .pdf appears in the brower and view controls appear at the bottom.
I hope that terminal fix does it for you. I can imagine that would be very annoying to have to open .pdf files on the desktop when you only want to quickly skim them over in a brower environment.

Is my only option to return the one I bought on the 10th (so return by 10/24) and then not have an iPad until the new one is available for purchase? Or would it make any sense to return the one I bought, get a new one, which would presumably have another 14 day return window, and then exchange THAT one for the new ipad mini w/ retina when it comes out (hopefully within that second 14 day window)?

Call the apple store you got it from and ask them. Sometimes in the past they've extended the 'no questions asked return' but only Apple can tell you for sure.

Yes, that can be done. But note that all administrators will have the same right to print, so you need to make sure the users are not administrators. You can include a macro to disable printing, but if the users disable macro, they can print the documents.
Hence, there is no foolproof way to prevent printing documents. If you still need a foolproof security, PDF format provides password based security (viewing doesn't require a password) that can be implemented to prevent the document from printing,
which doesn't require any special scripts and is tough.

Glad you found the answer. But something seems wrong. FCP should be able to assign the scratch disk to your startup drive. It's not advisable, but it should be possible. You might want to try and figure out what's going on before what ever's going on cause other problems.
