If I paid for app for iphone do i have to pay again for same app for ipad?
Hi just curious if anyone could tell me if I have purchased an app for an iphone for example My Movies pro do I have to pay again if I want My Movies pro for Ipad?
Does this depend on specfic apps or is everything free once you paid for it on either your ipad or iphone under same apple Id?

Hi Oil Country,
If the app is compatible with both iPhone and iPad, then you can download it to any iPhone or iPad that the Apple ID used to purchase it is signed onto.
You can go to the App Store on the iPad, then to your Purchased Items. Click on "Not on this iPad", and you should see the app listed with a little cloud next to it. Tap on the cloud to download it.

that I lost when I took my iPhone into the Genius bar and they re-installed the current 3.1 OS since the update that I downloaded caused my iPhone to lock up all the time. I backed up my phone but the tech told me to sync it "as new" instead of using the back up. Most of the apps that I paid for are there and were synced successfully but I'm missing a few paid apps (which I use more) but I don't want to pay from them again since Ive already paid for them ... any suggestions? You do have to click the "Buy" button and you will get a warning about your credit card being charged, but when you continue you will be offered the opportunity to download for free.

Yes, unless it would normally be free. The developers need to create the Mac OS X and iOS versions of an application separately and may choose to charge for both.

Before backing up my old iphone4 I traded it in for an iphone5. All of the apps I purchased had no problem downloading to my new phone from itunes with no charge, but I can't download music that I have already paid for that was not backed up w/out paying again. How can I get these songs to my new phone without having to buy them again?
Whether you can re-download music depends upon what country that you are in (and whether it remains in the store). If you don't have a Music section in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone for re-downloading it, then do you not have you library on your computer's iTunes or on your backup of your downloads ? If not then you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a re-download

You do have to pay, but you're not paying again. iWork apps for OS X are not the same as the iOS versions.

How are you trying to re-download it, from within the store or the Purchased link ? You should be able to redownload it for free via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.

You need a valid payment method even for free items. If you know the payment method is valid then contact iTunes.

Like I said, if Siri was on the 4, fewer would buy the 4S. Second, the 4 is discontinued to make room for the 4S, so there will be no updates exclusively for the 4. My iPhone won't stay connected to my wireless. I have to keep repowering my phone and then it lasts for a few minutes until I have to reboot again. Any ideas? Anyone experienced the same?

It does not sound like a battery problem.
Try a couple of things:
1. Reset the SMC

2. Reset (if you can) the PRAM

If that does not help, delete the mouse in system preferences, turn it off, restart, and turn the mouse back on.

No you should not need to pay again, as Chrisp250 points out if you use the same account you purchased it with.

Depends on the app. If you have to create some sort of account within that app, theoretically signing in with the same account on the Mac version may have your data. No one would know here for sure unless they have experience with that app.

I made and in-app purchase but didn't sync it to my computer. It kept crashing so I deleted it and re-loaded it. When it re-loaded it was at the starting level and didn't have any of my previous in-app purchases. Do I have to pay for them again?
Previously in-app purchases should download again without any charge. I know, it's not clear since you'll have to click on the price to download again you should get a message that it will be downloaded at no charge.

Ios 6 is not available for all iphones. Original Iphone and iphone 3 are not supported.

This is common for most any device/computer. Not all iphone/computer/device models can handle all of the new features. Like any device, hardware is limited and cannot always support all new features and software.
