If I preorder an iPhone 6, will I be able to pick it up in stores on 9/19

I want to pre-order an iPhone 6. However, if I cannot get the iPhone on release day I will buy directly from Apple. Will I be able to pre-order the iPhone 6 (plus) and then pick it up directly at the Verizon store on the date of release (9/19)?

I asked the same question and a Verizon rep told me yes, if you pre order and select in store pickup your phone will be waiting for you on the day it is released!

  • If I preorder an iPhone 5 will it arrive at my house on the 21st or is that when it'll ship? I would like to have it the day it comes out so if it would be faster to order it online and then pick it up from the apple store, let me know! Thanks

My experience is with the iPhone 4S and the "new" iPad, both of which I ordered early on the opening pre-order day. In both cases the wording from Apple during the media event was "pre-orders will start on ABC date for delivery on XYZ date" which was also the same day they were to go on sale in stores.  In both cases, the UPS truck rolled up earlier than usual XYZ date as promised to hand me my new iPhone/iPad. In both cases there were instances of confusion due to some pre-order confirmations stating incorrectly "SCHEDULED SHIPPING DATE: XYZ".  In both cases that caused much fear, panick, and trepidation that fed upon itself as it permeated a widely scattered forum linked community of "adults" that seem to collectively revert to a state of childish impatience and ultimately child-like glee as they obsessively refresh their dedicated tracking browser window; become convinced that there is no hope of escaping the dread delayed shippment, and then finally receive their new toy exactly when they were supposed to.  Not that I personally would ever succumb to that of course.  Er uhm ... it's just what I've seen you know .. nothing I can really relate to.

  • From my iphone 4 will I be able to play games like Infinity Blade or even modern combat games through Apple Digital AV Adapter on my HDTV/HDMI LCD-television?

I have a question before buying it...From my iphone 4 will I be able to play games like Infinity Blade or even modern combat games through Apple Digital AV Adapter on my HDTV/HDMI LCD-television?
Will it support or i have to wait for iphone 5!!!

Having spotty luck with it... see my other post in the iphone discussions...
It does work, but only some of the time - it seems to need a kick in the *** though. Sometimes it links to the TV right away, some times it takes some switching between apps or videos in the camera roll, and now for some reason, it takes plugging my wife's phone in first and then swapping phones once her's is recognized and TV output connection made before mine will output signal to the TV.
And it seems to do video only with some apps and audio only with others, and then nothing with yet others. I guess I just expected it to work, given that we both have freshly updated iphones (4.3), good cables and 2 HD TV's to test with...

  • If I buy a 32GB IPhone 4S, will i be able to store my current ITunes library on my phone through ICloud without taking up the 32GB built into my phone?

If I buy a 32GB IPhone 4S, will I be able to store my current ITunes library on my phone through ICloud without taking up the 32GB built into my phone?

iCloud does not store music except in two ways.  First, you can redownload music previously purchased from the iTunes store should you ever need to (as long as the songs are still available); which is referred to as "iTunes in the Cloud" (but has nothing to do with your personal iCloud account).  Secondly, you can store your music library in iCloud (up to 25,000 songs) if you subscribe to a fee-based service called iTunes Match (see http://www.apple.com/itunes/itunes-match/).  If you subscribe to iTunes Match you can keep your music in iCloud, but (at least at the current time) when you listen to this music it is simultaneously downloaded to your phone so it ends up using some of you phone's capacity anyway.

No. If it states designed for both iPad and iPhone, then it won't run on an iPod touch.

  • My iPhone nor my iPad are able to get updates from App Store

So this all started this morning and neither my iPhone nor my iPad are able to go to the updates page in the App Store. I have searched on how to fix it and nothing has worked. I've done the steps that might have help for some users but none are working for me. I've turned my iPhone off completely, reset the phone everything to see if I can get to the updates page and nothing has worked.
So is there anyway to fix this?

    This has solved itself.

  • Will l be able to add funds from itunes store gift cards to my account despite having made a non credit card account

will i be able to add funds to my itunes store account with itunes cards or gift codes despite having made a non credit card itunes account. i do not have any credit card info on my account

Yes. Purchase an iTunes card then click Redeem under Quick Links right side of the iTunes Store window.
There's another way to redeem a card.
From the iTunes menu bar click Store > Sign In
Then click your account name right side of the iTunes Store window just under the search field top right corner of the window.
Click: To redeem a code, click here     under Payment Type:   iTunes Gift Cards and Certificates

  • If I buy an iPhone in China will I be able to use the UK app store with my UK iTunes account?

I am working/living in China, and I want to buy a new iPhone. A friend of mine bought a Windows 8 phone and he discovered that the phones, apparantly all of them (across all brands) are region locked, app store wise, to China. So he can't download apps like Skype for example. I want a new phone but I'm worried that if I buy an iPhone here in China I won't be able to access my countries store. I have an old iPhone but it was from the UK so I know I can access the UK store in China. But the issue is, is that will the Chinese sold iPhone only access their own store and no others like the Chinese sold Windows 8 phones?

    Hello Rick19992000,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. Look at your question I can say that yes you can change stores. The following article will walk you through it. I also highlighted the specific portion for you.
iOS: Changing the signed-in iTunes Store Apple ID account
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1311
Sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you'd like to use. Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
One last bit of advice is to check to make sure that certain features are going to be present when buying from a different region. You can compare by going to the different regions at the Apple Choose your Region Page

  • HT4914 I no longer have a working computer. Am I able to move my purchased music to my new iPad or have I lost my entire library. I do have my music on my iPhone. Will that be able to be transferred to my iPad?  Thanks.

Do I need a working computer to move my purchased I tunes to my new iPad?  I have the downloads on my iPhone 5 but I don't know if I can use that like a computer. Thanks

You can't sync music from an iPhone to an iPad. If they are iTunes purchases then, depending upon what country that you are in and whether they are still in the store, then you might be able to re download them via the Purchased tab in the iTunes Store app on your iPad. Otherwise you will need to use a computer.

  • Will I be able to sync/restore my iphone 5 from my iphone 4 backup?

As the title says, when I get my iphone 5 will I be able to restore the iphone 5 from my iphone 4 back up to save having to re-organise my apps, and losing my text messages etc?

Mine synced fine from my iphone 4 back up. The only thing was that it completely mirrored the 4 so only put 4 rows of apps per home screen on so had to rearrange the apps slightly. I back up to iTunes not iCloud though as you only have limited back up on iCloud unless you pay extra. Maybe reset and erase your iphone 5 and try again but check you still have your iphone 4 back up in iTunes first. If not and you have your 4 still, make a new back up to itunes then sync your 5 from this. I still sync basic stuff like contacts, calendar and notes to iCloud though, therefore Ill never lose them (in theory).
Are you using Mac or windows?
