If I purchase an iPhone 6 from Apple directly, am I still eligible for the $200 trade in credit?
I don't see anything on Trade-In Program FAQs | Verizon Wireless that says the iPhone 6 has to be specifically purchased through Verizon in order to get the credit. I preordered, but my status has been in 'Processing' mode for a week and a half now with no other information. If I knew it was coming soon, I'd just hold out. However, now I'd like to see about canceling my preorder and trying to get one from a local Apple store.

Why do Orange and EE blame Apple for the delays in unlocking my iPhone. 10 months now. What is the exact process that these companies have to go through to unlock an iPhone and is Apple in any way to blame for the delays.
Indeed how long does Apple take to carry out its part of the process.
It seems to me that Orange are just trying to stall me despite the fact that I am out of contract with them now. I originally paid to have the phone unlocked back last November. This was never done.
I have phoned them numerous times over the last two months but still they haven't done it. Can anyone advise me and has anyone had similar problems with them.
ThanksI certainly understand that only Orange can unlock my phone. My annoyance is that they blame Apple so I am keen to know what exactly is Apple's involvement.
I presume that Orange have to tell Apple that the phone has been authorised for unlocking by Orange and that Apple then notes that in some way on iTunes so that the user can then complete the process on iTunes.
What I would like to know is how much time Apples part in this process takes.
I would also like to make contact with others who have had similar problems.

Did you try the things listed here? Error 3194, Error 17, or "This device isn't eligible for the requested build" - Apple Support Is your device jailbroken? Have you ever used the computer to jailbreak a device? Are you trying to load an iOS other than the current one? What version of iPhone are you using? Is this occurring when attempting to update via iTunes and the computer?

Purchases from Apple are stand alone apps. The Organizer is only available with the boxed product or downloads direct from Adobe.

I've been watching the forums for a while now, and I know about the box shortage, but I'm afraid there are still some things that confuse me. It's been almost three weeks since I submitted a request for the first gen nano replacement program. Has anyone else been waiting this long? I admit, it's really frustrating to just have to wait with no word from Apple about when we can expect to recieve boxes.
I was also wondering if there's been any sort of answer on what the mailed-in nanos are being replaced with. Brand new first gen nanos, new nanos of a different generation, refurbished nanos (first gen or otherwise)? Maybe I've been looking in the wrong places, but I haven't seen a definitive answer. Has anyone completed the whole replacement program who can answer this?

You should try to return from where you bought it. Someone (who bought the old 'new ipad more than 14 days but fewer than thirty days ago) posted the other day that in NYC the Fifth Ave. Apple store would not honor the exchange but the Upper West Side store (less than a mile away) did exchange it.
Two days ago, a Best Buy was still selling the 'new' ipad at regular prices. I thought their return policy was/is 14 days, but I checked and it's actually thirty days (see website.) There was no specification that it was different for ipads or other electronics.
And if I were you, I would take your product (with all the peripherals it came with) and receipt and bring it in. Ask to speak to a manager. It's easy to say 'no' over the phone - one less disgruntled ipad owner to deal with.
DO IT ASAP!
One thing Apple needs to do is get all their retail stores to participate!

Am I Eligible For The iPhone 3Gs Upgrade?
Ok so I purchased the original iPhone December of 2007 & signed up for a 2 year contract. I then purchased the iPhone 3G the day it came out July 2008. So basically this is my question / situation: I am not sure if I am eligible for the upgrade to iPhone 3Gs. When I got the second generation of the iPhone did that start my contract ALL over again, or did it just have it continue. Because if I didn't renew it ... then that would make me eligible for the $200 upgrade to the iPhone 3Gs. But if I did indeed start a whole new contract in July 2008, then I am not eligible right? Any help would be fantastic!
* May I add that I have been a ATT customer for almost 10 years now, that should help my case a little right? hahaYou have been an AT&T subscriber for nearly 10 years with the same upgrade policy in regards to subsidized phones - which wasn't a problem for you until now, but it should be different with the iPhone for some reason?
AT&T has been "taking" hundreds of dollars a month from you by your choice, and you received something in exchange for what you have paid every month - placing and receiving calls and probably messaging. The same would apply with any cellular provider. The provider "takes" your money every month based on your chosen calling and messaging plans, which allows you to place and receive calls and messaging.
You may be able to get AT&T to make an exception for you with the iPhone 3GS based on being a subscriber for so long, but they haven't taken your money without providing associated services in return, which you must be pretty happy with since you have been an AT&T subscriber for nearly 10 years. I certainly wouldn't allow any carrier to "take" my money everything month if I wasn't receiving what I'm paying for and expecting in return. -
I recently order a new IPhone 6, I also signed up for the $200 trade in on my old IPhone 4s (which was working fine when I order my new phone). I then received my new IPhone 6 (old phone still working fine), while trying to set up the new phone with Verizon call center. I was trying to talk on speaker phone and the call center was unable to hear me. It was determined that my speaker phone was not working and that Verizon was going to send me a new phone. It was a little disappointing not being able to use my new phone and having to order a new phone paying for it (which I understand will be refunded once I send back my defective IPhone 6) also having to wait another month for my phone to come it was kind of annoying, which I am still waiting on. I still didn't ask for anything special I was just happy that Verizon was going to send me another phone. About a week later/ last Wednesday I noticed that my top button on my old IPhone 4s stopped working. I am wondering if since I was sent a defective phone and my old phone was still in perfect shape when the defective phone was received will I get $200? Or am I just out of luck?

Yes, this is activation lock. Return the phone for a refund, as it is useless without the activation information of the previous owner.

If I purchase Iphone 4s from apple store, Can I claim the stuff at "istudio" in my country when it has any problem? Or do I have to buy for the warranty as well? I am deciding between ordering from apple store and buying from the representative.
Warranty is ONLY valid in the country where the device was originally sold by Apple.
The ONLY exception is for devices sold in the EU, as warranty and service can be obtained in any EU country.
The warranty on the iPhone is not International.
