"iWork Single User License. This License allows you to install and use one copy of the Apple Software (whether trial or full version) on a single Apple-labeled computer at a time. This License does not allow the Apple Software to exist on more than one computer at a time, and you may not make the Apple Software available over a network where it could be used by multiple computers at the same time."

I have multiple macs. Do I have to buy an individual copy of the new Lion OS for each one? We usually buy the family pack. But I didnʻt see any option at the app store.

No Family Pack any more. You buy it once and then you can install on as many computers as you "own or control" meaning however many are registered on the App Store under the same Apple user ID. But unless you save a copy of the installer before you first run it, you will have to download it again each time for each additional computer, becasue it is erased after you use it (unless you move it out of your Applications folder first). What do you mean by "multiple"? I have a total of 3 so I put a copy of the installer on a USB drive and also burned a copy to a DVD. Instuctions are in a number of threads here, so do a forum search.

You may not install Leopard on more than one computer.
Excerpt from the User License Agreement for Leopard:
2. Permitted License Uses and Restrictions.

You agree not to install, use or run the Apple Software on any non-Apple-labeled computer, or to enable others to do so. This License does not allow the Apple Software to exist on more than one computer at a time, and you may not make the Apple Software available over a network where it could be used by multiple computers at the same time.
B. Family Pack. If you have purchased a Mac OS X Family Pack, this License allows you to install and use one (1) copy of the Apple Software on up to a maximum of ﬁve (5) Apple-labeled computers at a time as long as those computers are located in the same household and used by persons who occupy that same household. By "household" we mean a person or persons who share the same housing unit such as a home, apartment, mobile home or condominium, but shall also extend to student members who are primary residents of that household but residing at a separate on-campus location. The Family Pack License does not extend to business or commercial users.
Apple also does not allow "upgrades" from Single user to the Family Pack.

How can I get my Adobe Reader to recognize that I have purchased the PDF Pack?

I have just purchased sthe PDF Pack so I can convert a PDF to a Word document. The Adobe Reader shows that I have signed in, but when I try to convert the PDF to Word, it asks me to Subscribe Now. I received the verification email and verified it, but it still doesn't recognize that I have subscribed. What can I do?

Opened OS 10 Tiger 10.4.3 Family Pack 4 sale supposedly never used

A person has an opened Tiger 10.4.3 for sale. Says he did not use because he got a new computer with the software already on it and decided he didn't need the pack. When you install it on your computers you supposedly have five licenses to do this. Does Apple track these when you install them or activate them? My concern is that I buy the package and maybe someone has already upgraded two of their computers to Tiger and then decided to sell the family pack as if there are still 5 licenses available. If the family pack only really gives you the right to add Tiger to 5 of your computers, is the actual software DVD to load on your computers in the package? I have several Macs that I would like to upgrade to Tiger and the purchase of this pack would be less than going out on the market, but I don't want to buy something that I can not use legally.

No, Apple doesn't track the licenses in that way. You can still install the software legally on 5 computers, even if the previous user has made some installations.

If it is a lightning to 30 pin adaptor, and you have a 7th Generation Nano it has to fit the Nano.

Due to the kind of plug used the US power cord is rated at the 125v value.. and legally we cannot advise you to use on higher voltages.. although I have never had issues in Australia.. 240v.
But adapters from your Euro power plug to US are generally ugly .. unsightly things.. and often sit high above the socket and are none too stable.. I agree with Bob.. just go out and buy a standard figure 8 power cord.. check with Apple in Italy for a white one.. if you are going to have it on show.. black are far more common. Or even check ebay for a standard power Apple power cord as a number of items they sell use the figure8 socket.
