If I reset my iPad will I loose all my apps too?
If I reset my iPad will I loose all the apps too?
Yes that's fine.
Every time you purchase something on iTunes, they link the purchases to your apple ID.
You'll notice the apps you've purchased before will either have 'installed' next to them in the App Store, or 'install'.
If it has a price next to it, you'll be charged, so be careful downloading ones you think you've already purchased.

Transferring your prepaid cellular data account depends on your carrier. AT&T lets you move it yourself when you go to Cellular Data in Settings and log into your account with your previous AT&T user name and password. For iPads with Sprint service, you can set up an account on the new iPad and contact Sprint Customer Care (888-211-4727 and go through the menus) to deactivate the old plan and get credit for unused service. For Verizon, call the company’s customer service number for mobile broadband support (800-786-8419) and ask to have your account transferred.

I updated my Ipad and it wont turn on - it's now in recovery mode - why is this? If I do reset it to factory settings will I loose all my apps?
Something went wrong with the update and your iPad can not boot.
Yes, doing the required restore wipes all data.
Restore from your backup. -
If I restore my Ipad , will I loose all my info?
if I restore my Ipad , will I loose all my info?
No, you will not. First what you do is back up the iPad before you sync (right click on iPad and then click back up). Then restore the iPad you will be given the option to reload from the last back up.
Hope that helps! -
If I upgrade my iPad iOS 4.3 to 6.3 will I loose all my apps progress I mean game progress ?
If you back up your iPad before you upgrade and then restore that backup afterwards, you should get back all your saved data, but whether that will include all your game progress will depend on how the developer of the game created it. If your game progress is important to you, I'd suggest contacting the developers of your games and confirming before you upgrade.
The current version of iOS is 6.1.3, just to avoid potential confusion.

Hi Biscutbootytoodie,
I think you left something out on your post....
What is it that you are doing (or about to do) that makes you think something is going to happen to your apps?

If i sync my iPhone with another iTunes will i loose all my apps and photos?
If i sync my iPhone with another iTunes will i loose all my apps and photos?
All iTunes content on your iPhone will be removed first.
Unless you transfer photos from another computer when doing so, the photos transferred from the other computer will not be touched.
Photos/videos in the Camera Roll are not part of and not touched with the iTunes sync process. -
I have a 2nd generation Ipod with lots of apps (free and paid). I would like to get a 4th generation Ipod but do not know if I will loose all my apps or not? Can any one tell me?
You will not lose your Apps. They can be reloaded onto your new iPod Touch.

my freind has no pc or laptop but wants to update his iphone. if he plugs it in and trys to update with my itunes will he lose all his paid for apps and music that hes brought from itunes
The issue I see is iTunes will complain that the phone has never been synced with that library before and will want to erase it. There may be various ways of dealing with that since apps and music can probably be downloaded a second time. Here's some general backup information:

I have purchased quite a few applications on my existing iPad. At this time, I would like to change my current iPad appleID to a different ID. Can I still keep all the application I purchased in the past? If I can, what should I do to achieve that?
Well at least you do understand the predicament that you will find yourself in when you finally part ways with your current job.
An Apple ID is really just a username that happens to also be an email address. When people change email providers, they change their Apple ID's to reflect the new email address. It doesn't change anything in the way of what they have purchased. I see no reason why you couldn't change your Apple ID email address to your own personal email address. It would be no different than changing email providers.
I'm taking you on your word, that you purchased these apps with your own credit card/iTunes gift cards or whatever means that you personally use to make iStore purchases.
read this for more information on how to go about changing your Apple ID.
Apple ID: Changing your Apple ID
What you do not want to do is to create a new Apple ID and start making purchases with another ID. That's when you can get into the problems that come with associating your device with another ID. -
IF I RESET MY IPOD WILL I LOOSE ALL THE MUSIC AND PICTURES UP LOADED
PLEASE LET ME KNOW ..... I AM BEGININ TO THINK THIS IPOD VIDEO WAS NOT A GOOD I DEA I CANT HEAR MY MUSIC AT ALL CUASE IT DOES NOT PLAY JUST STAY IDDLE ON SONG THAT I PIC W/ ALBUM PIC AND SONG DESCRIPTON...... WHAT SHOULD I DO
Restting the iPod (Press and hold Select and Menu for ~10 seconds) will not erase anything ffrom the iPod.
Restoring will erase everything on theiPod.
But since you have everything in iTunes, you can reload it. -
I want to change my e-mail address due to my having a new Internet provider. I used my old e-mail address as my Apple ID to get on the App Store, iTunes Store and iCloud. Will I still be able to download my old purchases if I lose them when I switch addresses?
go to id.apple.com, manage ur apple id, sign in, change primary email to the new one. this will change ur apple id to the new email address and ull get to keep ur purchases
