Read Syncing music to iPod is a one-way street. The iPod/iTunes system is designed not to let you copy music from your iPod to your computer, other than as described in this article, as an anti-piracy measure.
Because the Discussions terms of use prohibit encouraging piracy or other illegal sharing, in these forums we cannot discuss ways to circumvent this restriction, even if it is for a legitimate purpose. If you search the web you may find something that claims to do what you want, but as always be wary of software from untrusted sources.
The best solution is to add the music back to your iTunes library from its original sources and/or backups, which you should make for at least all purchased downloads. See How to back up your media in iTunes for future reference.

If I restored my new iPhone from iCloud backup, and I delete the old iPhone backup to make room on iCloud to back up my new phone, will it delete everything on the new phone?
I have this exact same issue. Replaced my iPhone 4s with the new iPhone 5s, setting up my new iPhone 5s to restore from iCloud. This completed and now I am unable to delete my old iPhone 4s iCloud backup (consuming 15.1 GB of my 20GB allocation). How can I delete it, so that I get my 15 GB back? I am not going to invest in additional iCloud storage, because I will be 15 GB down from the off.

I upgraded itunes since a pop up stated that I would have to upgrade it so it can recognize my iphone5's new software. I upgraded the itunes and now when I plug in the iphone its asking "set up as new iphone" will this delete everything on my phone? Also why is it forcing me to set up as a new iphone, why doesn't it recognize it like it did before I upgraded iTunes. I'm afaid I will lose all my apps, music, pictures etc. please help. thank you.
You are correct. Corrupted files are in the backup. If you've already restored the iPhone it has been erased and starting over is the way to go in order to eliminate the corrupted files.
Hope that helps -

An iPhone's content is designed to originate or be backed up on the computer with which is was last synced.
Getting content off an iPhone and onto a computer with which it was not synced can be done though. Read the following to determine if this is an option for her: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848
This will not restore anything not purchased from the iTunes Store. For that you will need to rely upon a number of third party utilities that claim to be able to do it. -
HT4759 if i delete my backup on my phone will it delete everything off my icloud?
im trying to download ios 7 so i want my phone clear & i want to know if i can delete the backup on my iphone 4? o will it delete everything on my icoud?
Go to Settings>iCloud and delete the account, then sign back in with the ID of the account you want to use. It only deletes the account from your device, not from iCloud. This won't effect any other devices you may have that are still using the account.

if my phone says it needs to be restored will it delete all of the stuff i have on it? Such as music i have on an app? The music has not been synced to itunes. Will all my pictures get deleted aswell? My phone is not working for some reason, when i was downloading ios6.1 it crashed or something. PLEASE HELP!!
Purchased iTunes content can be re-downloaded:

Any photos in your camera roll, not previously imported to your computer, you will lose. You should be regularly importing these photos, as the iPhone's camera roll is not designed as a storage device.
Had you been regularly syncing/backing up, you wouldn't lose anything. Now you know, don't backup your data, and you will eventually lose it all, guaranteed. -
If you delete your icloud backup will it delete everything that was backed up?
If you delete your icloud backup will it delete everything that was backed up?
It will only delete the backup from iCloud. It won't delete anything from your phone.

HT1414 If I do a complete restore will it delete all my personal data like credit card info etc
.if I do a complete restore will it delete all my personal details including credit card details ? That is what I want to do.
To my knowledge your CC infomation is not on the iPod but on an Apple server. To make a blank iPod I would g to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings
If you restore you iPod to factory defaults/new iPod via iTunes, your iPod willbe signed into the account that iTunes is signed into. -

I want to turn on bold text but it says I have to restart my iPhone first. Will restarting delete everything?
Restarting or rebooting of your device is something that should be done regularly.
No this will not delete any data off your phone.
PLEASE reboot your device regularly.
(hold down sleep wake button till you see the red bar reading 'slide to shut off')
Good luck friend. -
i have lion 10.7.5 installed if i update to 10.8 will it delete everything on my macbook? i would buy it in the aple store but i have some stuff on my laptop i wish wouldnt be lost so would it delete anything or would it stay the same?
If you buy the Mt. Lion installer at the AppStore it will just upgrade the system on top of your current system and not erase your documents and other files.
But nevertheless, as with any major upgrade, make sure you have a current backup of your mac, before you upgrade. And be aware, that the upgrade is quite large - several GB. So you need to be on a reliable network with a fast and stable internet connection.
Upgrade all applications to the latest versions, while you are still running Lion.
Have you checked, if all applications you need are compatible with Mt. Lion?

I just got the iphone 4, and i want to sync it to a different computer so i can get music from their itunes, if i do will it delete everything?

The implication here is that the other computer belongs to someone else, along with the content on it.
Since you do not own this media, you have no legal right to it.
If you want the media, purchase your own copy. -
If I delete iCloud from iPhone 4 phone will this delete everything from my new upgraded iphone 5 ?
No. You can delete your iCloud account from your iPhone 4 and the information will remain in iCloud either through syncing or through a backup.or through both features. Just make sure you have a recent backup.

I somehow erased everything (all important dates) off my ical on my mac and I'm afraid that if I connect my iphone that it will do the same there. Will my iphone sync the dates that are on the phone and add them to the ical? Or will it delete everything
Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Pictures taken with the device are designed to regularly be copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
If you have failed to use the device as designed it may be too late to recovery anything.
Is the device regularly backed up to a computer via iTunes? If so, the most recent backup (when restored to a replacement iOS device) should contain all contacts and pictures as of when the backup was created. -
What if i reset my iphone 4, will it delete everything
What if I reset my iPhone, will I delete everything
A reset, as described in the basic section of the manual, will delete nothing. It is much like rebooting your computer.
Resetting all content and settings, will erase everything.
A restore will erase everything and reinstall the iOS.
