I sent someone a link to an online dictionary, and in the search bar were some suggestions that are not relevant with that site and might cause some confusion like "what is that? I have not searched for that". Probably a silly question, but I am curious. Please excuse me if there are any mistakes, English is not my mother language. Thanks

It keeps changing my default browser automatically from Google to Only Search (if you use the search engine Only Search it takes you to Yahoo.com). There is no need to download anything to solve this problem. You may have installed a variant of the "VSearch" ad-injection malware.
Triple-click the line below on this page to select it, then copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
/Library/LaunchDaemons
In the Finder, select
          Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
A folder named "LaunchDaemons" may open. Look inside it for a file with a name of the form

Here something is a variable word, which can be different in each case. It could be "cloud," "dot," "highway," "submarine," "trusteddownloads," or pretty much anything else.
There may also be a file named
           com.something.helper.plist
in the same folder.
If you find files with names that fit the above description, post what you have for "something."

There are fellow users here, you aren't talking to Apple on these forums. You can check the purchase history on your account via the Store > View My Account menu option on your computer's iTunes - not sure whether that shows in-app purchases as I've never made any. You can also check to see if you have any auto-renewing subscriptions . If you don't recognise the charge and you haven't added or changed your credit card details (when you do then a temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the details are correct and valid, which should disappear within a few days) then you can contact iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

How do I send someone a link so they can view my files?

I don't understand this "free" storage. I put some files on the cloud because I received a message about sharing file with others, but I don't see any way to do this, unless I upgrade to one of the plans. Since I don't have a need for this often, I am reluctant to sign up to a paid account.

No, you don't need a paid account. Read my instructions again:
On the list of your Acrobat.com files
check the file you want to send
click on the Send button on top of the page
under Send to, check Public Link
click on the Create Link button
on the Public Link Generated pop-up
copy the entire link address
send that link via email for the recipient to download
or
click on the Email Link button

Can not send link to web site with firefox 3.6.8

When I go to a web site and want to send a link to an email correspondent I go to File>send link and click it. Nothing happens, no new email window with the link. Nada. My email client is TBird 3.0.6

Your Firewall does not recognize the new version of Firefox and is blocking it from connecting. Clear all instances of Firefox from your Firewall programs list. Let your Firewall re-detect the new version of Firefox and give Firefox the necessary permissions in your Firewall. See:

How do i remove image links to adobe site with my dreamweaver built flash gallery ?

This is probably a very simple solution, but i can't figure out how to remove the link to the adobe site when you click on the images in my gallery--I built a site in dreamweaver used the insert media option and added my photos---when uploaded, my images in the gallery are clickable and take you to the adobe site...how do i make the images have no link??

How can I provide a link to individual topics with TOC open that will open directly in browser?

When we use a current link which includes the anchor # and paste it into a browser it doesn't load the page when you hit Enter, only when you hit Enter and then Refresh. This hinders usability so I wanted to inquire if anyone has any other ideas about how we can get our users right into the help page they are seeking. We are currently using RoboHelp 9 but are planning an upgrade to 10 soon.

Can someone take a look at site with IE 6

I have a site I am trying to get launched but just found out
IE 6 is displaying the content of the Spry Tabbed Panel down below
the left Div. It might be a Double Float Margin problem.
Does anyone have IE 6 on their computer that can tell me if
it is displaying properly now that I have increase the space
between the left Menu Accordian and the Tabbed Panel .
If it is not fixed, does anyone have any suggestions?

Deep Linking in flex2 sites

I am looking for incorporating deep linking into my site
which is developed using Flex2.0 and AS3. I searched in google and
found SWFAddress2.0(an open source by Asual). I tried to go through
the samples and docs ,but i was not able to find a good sample code
demonstrating the SWFAddress2.0 properly.So can anyone please post
a good sample or link for SWFAddress2.0.

Hi Eddie,
It seems not possible to use deep linking. I think (just a guess) that when a session ID is missing, you're redirected to the home page (and the session ID is generated there).
You could try to generate an APEX Session ID and add that to the URL (when clicked). See How to create an Apex 3.1 a session context programmatically? on the how-to.
Whether this an intentional feature or not...I don't know. You should ask the powers that be (you know them I think).
