If i take an iphone 4s to verizon for a factory unlock and it comes up stolen what happens?
Cause i dont know if its stolen or not.. I just bought it from a pawn shop
They will not unlock the SIM slot if it does not have active Verizon service. If they do unlock the SIM slot, it can never be used with any U.S. carrier. Your receipt is worthless as it is not from an authorized iPhone distributor.
If you don't intend to get on a contract with Verizon for at least 3 months, you are wasting your time.
You made a mistake. Next time, buy a phone from a legitimate source.

Did you by chance have photo stream turned on? If so then they might be there. When you restored your phone it deleted everything and they will be unretreivable from your computer.

Basic troubleshooting steps in the following order.
1. Reset. Press and hold both Power and Home Buttons together till Apple Logo appears.
2. Restore to a backup.
3. Backup, Restore in iTunes and setup as new. -

As long as you share that AppleID for iCloud, you cannot. You are sharing a a single iCloud account and sync services. The only thing you can do is get a second AppleID and use it with iCloud - you do not have to use that new AppleID for anything but iCloud (ie. you can still share an AppleID for iTunes and App store purchases).
P.S. I am assuming you both want to sync your contacts with iCloud? -

Hi guys, I have a problem with imessage. My iphone 4S is factory unlocked and i have been using t-mobile carrier. i tried settings - messages - imessage on but there is this 'waiting for activation' thing. Does anyone know how to solve this?

T-Mobile UK are in fact port blocking to ensure fair usage on their base Web and Walk Plan. I have upgraded to Web and Walk Plus and as a result the port blocks are lifted and I get a higher data allowance!

Once you purchase or download an app it will always be associated with the Apple ID used to download it. When that app requires and update you must use the Apple ID and password used to download it in the first place. The only way around this is to delete the apps the require the old Apple ID and download or purchase them again with the new Apple ID.

On your iPhone go to Settings > Store.
Select the Apple ID at the bottom.
Select Sign Out at the menu selection provided.
Follow this by signing in with your new Apple ID/iTunes store account.
All apps - all paid and free apps include DRM protection which is tied to the iTunes account that was used to download the apps. In order to install an app update for the apps downloaded with your previous Apple ID/iTunes account, you will need to use that account and password. -

There is generally a misundersting this area
there is no such thing as as a factory unlocked iPhone
there is an iPhone which has not been carrier lock as has
been available outside the US from day one

Once you have restored your new phone from the backup of your old phone and ensured that everything is working correctly, you should first turn off "find my phone" on the old phone and then erase it, before you get rid of it. -
