Adobe Acrobat Pro XI is having some issues. When just the base program opens it freezes before I can even do anything with preferences. The same thing happens when I open a PDF document from anywhere. I have cleared the %temp% directory and repair installed the program with no success in finding a resolution to this issue. I have removed Adobe AIR as a thread indicated that this program could be the cause of some issues. I even restarted the print spooler as that was mentioned in a different post on Adobe Support Forums.
I would suggest rebooting (particularly if you have not) and log in as the administrator. Also, it sounds like you can open Acrobat, but then it locks up when you try to do the preferences. So in that case go to Help>Repair and apply that. Then repeat the process with Help>Updates to get current. See if that resolves the issues. Since you mentioned %temp%, I assume you are on a windows machine, but which one?

I can only guess about the reason... Firefox works with many websites' "rich text" editors, but ones that haven't been updated for five years may assume that Firefox is the old Netscape browser and use scripting techniques that don't work in Firefox.
If Verizon has a different "basic" or HTML editor that you can tolerate using, you could try that. It might not be subject to the same incompatibilities.
If I someday get a Verizon account, I will surely be looking into this further, but for now, it's hard to suggest anything else. -
This has not recovered the disabled iPod. I have tried a dozen times. It doesn't get to the recover portion.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.

Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
Hi, I recently updated to iOS 8.0 on my Ipad mini however when i try to agree to the new terms and conditions i get an error message saying either 'Cannot connect to server' or 'Your session has timed out please try again' what can be done to resolve this problem? Can you check the Object Security for the Analysis Menu and Export button and see if it is restricted?

It sounds like you are unable to play a couple of songs from your library becuase you get a message that the computer is unauthorized to play, but other content purchased that same day works without issue. I would verify that the affected songs were purchased with the same Apple ID first:

Highlight one of the items you have purchased (You can find your purchases in your Purchases playlist).
Choose File > Get Info.
Click the Summary tab.
The Account Name area will list the account used to purchase the item. Unless you have changed accounts, this is your iTunes Store account name.

We are implementing a process that includes an Adobe Form. This form retrieves some information from our ERP and has some images that represent some executives signatures and companys logo. At runtime, this application seems right, but when you place the mouse over the images a Hand appears and a click is possible. If you click over it, a FileSystem PopUp appears and you can choose a new image. What can be done in our code in order to disable the Link/Hand/Popup action??

Since upgrading to OS X Mavericks I have not been able to work on any MS Word tracked changes documents (works fine if no tracked changes or comments in the doc). Every time upon opening such a word file with tr.changes the word processor closes / crashes.
What can be done in this case?I just discovered that by turning off in tracked changes balloons in Word preferences prevents the software from crashing, but from then on I need to use only the review pane.

What can be done to eliminate it?Open the Time Machine pane in System Preferences. If it shows that Time Machine is ON, click the padlock icon in the lower left corner, if necessary, to unlock it. Scroll to the bottom of the list of backup drives and click Add or Remove Backup Disk. Remove all the disks, then add them back. Quit System Preferences. Test.
