If I upgrade to snow leopard, will I lose all the applications?

I'm on OS 10.4.11 now and I'm thinking of upgrading to Snow Leopard. Do I have to buy all new iWork and iLife? and re-install all the applications I have?

A. The language of the clause is quite straightforward since it is intended to be understood by ordinary users who must agree to the terms of the EULA prior to installing & using Snow Leopard.
B. The "pre-purchase statement" is not clearly a licensing requirement nor does reading it constitute a legal agreement or obligation of any sort. It is just purchasing information about a "single, affordable package" that elsewhere Apple describes as "the best way to upgrade your Mac experience, especially if you’re still using Mac OS X Tiger."
C. The Snow Leopard EULA is *exactly the same* whether purchased as part of the Box Set product or as part of the OS-only product. Thus, if the EULA is what it clearly says in ordinary language that it is, there are only two possibilities for Tiger users:
1. They can legally use either product.
2. They can legally use neither product.
D. If forum participants should feel uncomfortable about anything, it is suggesting or even hinting to others that it is somehow OK to disregard any part of the EULA without first consulting a lawyer.
