If the app is less than 20 meg then yes you should be able to - there is a 20 meg download limit per file of 3G which can't be changed/overridden. For any content (apps, films, tv shows, podcasts etc) over 20 meg you will need to find a wifi network for your iPad in order to download them directly on the iPad, or download them on your computer and then sync them across to the iPad

i tried to re download a purchased audio book after i contacted apple support team for iTunes they said it would be ready for re download or they said id have to re download it from iTunes store i cant remember, so i tried both couldn't re download it from purchased menu and the book id have to re download from iTunes store costs money as if i have never purchased what do i do? I don't have any warranty any more or money to purchase another warranty.

I have bought 1 MacbookPor 17, 1 Macbook air, 1 MacbookPro 15 , 2 ipads, 3 iphones, and this iMac27 and 2 of iMAC24 or 20 not sure   but I do not recall ever doing what you are telling me in your reply.   When you get a extended car warranty, you don't   sign up for it.. it is just there and is included in the sale.   You don't buy this warranty to use it.. You buy it, in case something happens.   Here a perfect iMAC with minimum 100 hour useage has a dead drive. That is not normal and I should not have to even be requesting anything since most MFG offer a 3-5 year warranty on their disc drives and I believe that is probably passed on to Apple regardless if an extended warranty is purchased or not.   Customer service dictates a more flexible approach to make sure the lifetime value of a customer is not lost due to some misunderstanding.
I was in the MacStore that I purchased the unit..and they found and pulled the invoice and confirmed
the purchase of it in front of me. I had paid with credit card and fortunately it was there in their system.   I do not also recall recieving any box or paper although most everything I ever get remains sealed.. I am not in the habit of opening anything since I have never encountered any serious issues before.
   I have used my Macbookpro warranty 1 time and that is all throughout the years I have been investing in Apple equipment.
I just recieved a letter from the store asking me to get the paper to them so they can register it... I don't recall getting any paper actually. But I do have several boxes sealed here.. On this iMAC27, it was a hurry up and get it done thing and I don't remember taking anything extra with it.   Regardless, my request does not seem unreasonable.

go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing>Sync your device manually and follow the instructions.

Have you synced apps from that computer/iTunes library? You can only sync apps from your one syncing computer.

Can't download anything from iTunes Store

Hi,
I have an iPhone 5 running on IOS 6. Everything is working fine, except for I can't download anything from the iTunes Store. I can't download music, TV programs, or films. I'm pretty sure I can't download podcasts either. I can download apps absolutely fine, just not anything from the iTunes Store. As soon As I press download, it downloads as normal, but as soon as it reaches the end and says processing, as normal, it just sort of finishes. It doesn't end up in my music or videos folder. I also can't transfer any music or media from my computer to the device. As I said apps and photos and everything else is running fine.
Has anyone else had the problem? Any solutions?

It does indeed sound to me like that hotspot either blocks connections to the iTunes Store (quite possibly to prevent people from loading their connection up with large downloads) or has a routing problem. In either case there's probably nothing you can do other than to just use a different hotspot, though you can talk to the cafe and ask them if they're indeed blocking the iTunes Store; that would at least let you know for sure.

Bought used Iphone and can't download apps or sign in to iTunes

I bought my first iPhone from a friend over the weekend. Its an iPhone 4. Whenever I try and download and app I get a weird gmail account and it wants a password. I text my friend about it and she said to plug it into the computer and sync it with my iTunes account and it will wipe it clean. I did that and I am having the same problem. I can't even log into iTunes with my phone using my account. I went and got it acctivated with my carrier and have no problems anyplace else. Just trying to use apps and iTunes. How do I get rid of the gmail account on my phone?

I called and just got off the phone with Apple. They say iTunes is currently down and to try again in an hour or so...

Can't download anything from iTunes Store... From only one wifi hotspot

I am having trouble with downloading stuff from the iTunes Store. When I click on an app for instance to download it asks me for me password as usual, I enter it, then it disappears and nothing happens. It's the most irritating issue. It's only happening at one wifi hotspot at a cafe. I've tried using my iphone to download as well, it hangs, then finally says can't connect to iTunes Store. I have downloaded things at other hotspots with no issues whatsoever so it can't be my iPhone or Macbook. I reckon the hotpot doesn't allow those kind of downloads. I might be wrong though, don't really have an idea. Does anyone have any ideas that I can try?

Suddenly can't download songs from iTunes store

I'm on a Mac OS X 10.4.11, using iTunes 9.2.1 (4) and Safari 4.1.3. This worked fine back in June, the last time I downloaded anything! Now I am again trying to purchase from iTunes store, and repeatedly getting the message, 'Session timed out. Try again.' Any ideas to resolve this? Thanks!

Well, to solve this problem you only need to connect your iPod to the computer. I'm not sure why this happened, but if your iPod have access to your iTunes Store account, then it will automatically update your missing info.
You just need to authorize your computer and connect your iPod.
So you have two options:
Do it when you arrive home, connecting it to your home computer;
or
Fist authorize your work computer, the connect your iPod. If you want, you can deauthorize this computer after finishing the process.
Unfortunately there's nothing you can do directly on your iPod Touch

I only have this problem last night. Everything was fine until i downloaded Itunes U. I downloaded a bunch of videos and other educational things in there. And after that it was still waiting. So after that i went to appstore and downloaded i books and then suddenly it wont load. So i tried to redownload it and also there is an update for twitter. I waited for 3 hours but no apps have been finished. I thought maybe itunes u was the problem so i deleted it and then went back to downloading. Sadly, i can't download those apps. I tried again next morning. Still after 30 minutes no download progress. It doesnt usually happen since we have a fast internet connection. And its getting on my nerves right now. And also its 32 GB and still has a lot of space available.
