If I use Google Agenda sync using MS Exchange, will I have to pay?

Hello everyone,
Sorry if the question sounds dumb but I'm new to the iPhone and Microsoft Exchange. I've found on the Google website the procedure to sync my Google Agenda and calendar with the iPhone. This is done in Push.
The procedure explained by google asks me to use te Microsoft Exchange Account system, but I connect to a Google server (m.google.com if I remember correctly).
Since Microsoft Exchange is a paid service I was wondering, if I use this Google sync thing, will I have fees from Microsoft as well ?
Or is it just that Google has it's own Microsoft Exchange server to enable this push sync with calendars for free? Sorry again for the dumb question but I have absolutely no clue about these things.
I've checked out the Google website and some sites about that on Google but nothing is giving me the answer to my question so I was hoping some of you have tested it and could give me somes infos.

You won't have to pay any fees to access a Gmail account as an Exchange account. Apple is paying the fees to Microsoft for accessing an Exchange account via ActiveSync with the iPhone's Mail application. Apple has licensed ActiveSync from Microsoft for use with the iPhone's Mail application and which can be used with the Mail.app, the Address Book, and iCal on a Mac running Snow Leopard - OS X (10.6.x).
Google pays Microsoft for Exchange Server software to access a Gmail account as an Exchange account via ActiveSync, which provides Push access for received messages, and over the air syncing for contacts and calendar events.

Your purchase of licensed version of Adobe applications does apply to CC subscriptions. If you subscribe you will pay for the subscription on whatever periodic basis you choose (monthly versus annually).

Take it in and see what the technicians say is wrong and then how they want to handle the iPhone. If the iPhone has a problem covered by the warranty then you should have no problems.

you have access to apps that you've downloaded as soon as you log into your apple id in settings > itunes and app stores. it has nothing to do with SIM cards

I guess that came out a little wrong last time I sent one it was a 13" i5MBP, with shipping, taxes and import it was 78 pounds cheaper than in the UK, 3 pounds for an adaptor for the power supply made it a round 75 pounds, it took 8 days and was in perfect condition so .. you pays yer money and you makes yer choice.

Nokia E52 google calendar sync mail for exchange b...

Since I upgraded my Nokia to the latest firmware, I always get a blank screen after selecting mail for exchange as mail provider (necessary to sync my google calendar with the calendar in the phone). Sync of the calendar worked fine before.
I think i tried all previously posted solutions (restore factory settings, disconnect from WiFi, start with incorrect email adress, ...). IMAP malibox to read gmail mails works fine.
Any ideas?

just got an update yesterday, i can syncronice mail, calendar and contacts (i use hotmail)
before i had to check only contacts and calendar. the mails i had to checked via hotmail aplication. now i can doi all in one.

Lightroom Mobile app says I'm running on a trial but I have been using LR 5 for quite some time now on my laptop. Will my trial expire and roll over to my account, or will I have to pay?

To clarify, a subscription to the PS+LR Photography Plan has a different LR license than your current serial-number-licensed LR, and each license-type can be installed on 2 computers, so you could have LR on up to four computers, two of which can be running the CC licensed version of LR along with the CC-licensed version of PS, and two running the serial-number-licensed LR without PS-CC.
If you have your catalog and photos on an external drive that you can swap between the various computers, then you could use any of the up-to-four to work with your photos. You could also have as separate catalog on each of the up-to-four computers, but then syncing would get complicated if you try to do that on more than one LR catalog, I think, though I could be wrong, because I only use LR Mobile with one catalog, currently.

Can someone tell me how am I suppose to use my iPad if I have to pay as you go data service which has already cost me $75 for the first month of usage due to not enough GB's usage.

AT&T and Apple is going to cause people to look elsewhere in order to obtain services to operate their products which might not affect Apple all that much but AT&T may suffer a little bit and apple needs to go ahead provide the means for various ways to connect their devices through AT&T rather than forcing their customers to be locked in to paying an extreme amount of money for service.

IF you're using more than 2GB per month, you have the wrong device for online service. It's unclear as to how you are using the iPad. If you're at home most of the time, you should be using wifi instead. Much cheaper for extensive data streaming. If you're instead out and about, knock off the video/audio streaming.
If you go into System Preferences/Usage/Cellular Usage, it will show you exactly where you are. I strongly suggest you "zero" out the counter at the start of your monthly data plan and then monitor it from time to time.

Google contact sync keeps thinking 25% of contacts have changed

I'm trying to configure my fiance's Macbook Air to sync her contacts with Google and keep getting messages about an unexpectedly large number of contacts being changed. To debug this, I've migrated the address book by hand, and am still getting there error.
Note that the Mac contacts are currently also synching with MobileMe.
Here is how I reproduced the weird behavior:
1. Backup all contacts from both Address Book and Google contacts.
2. Export all Address Book contacts to a group vcard file.
3. Delete all contacts from Google contacts.
4. Import the vcard file from step 2 into Google contacts.
5. Configure Address Book to sync with Google contacts.
6. Select Sync Now from the sync menu.
After a few minutes, a dialog box pops up saying that this sync operation with Google will change more than 25% of my contacts. By my reasoning, there should be no changes since I just uploaded the identical address book by hand. Am I doing something obviously wrong here?

Do you have to pay royalty fees to use mp3 files in a Flash game?

I'm looking at developing a Flash game but I am aware there are licensing fees involved with using mp3 files, and we seem to only be able to use mp3 files through Actionscript and Flashpunk. So my question is, will we have to pay any royalty fees, or does Adobe have that covered?

No. The idea of iTunes Match is that everything in your library is available to sync.
If it does match, the song in iTunes store is used.
If it does not match, the song on your computer is used and that is uploaded to the cloud to sync to yoru devices.
iCloud is not available for Mac OS previous to Lion.

Syncing wiht Microsoft Exchange

My iphone only syncs with microsoft exchange when i have outlook open on my desktop, as soon as i close outlook it stops the sync. Any ideas if i delete the account and then recreate it i will receive all my emails. But then the same problem happens.

My iTouch has all the right settings from my IT department who uses a Exchange 2003 server.
User name, password, server is right - at least we think it's right.
Once I try to get Mail on my iTouch, it comes up with a "Cannot Get Mail - the connection to the server failed' error.
I'm actually trying to sync my Entourage Calendar mostly. All setting are right under the preferences in Entourage for syncing. And my iCal on my computer creates a mirror image of my Entourage calendar.
I can sync up the Calendar through iTunes, but don't really want to do this. Would rather have this happen WiFi.
Is there anything I'm missing?
I've reset my setting on my iTouch too. Done all that...read all the discussions, articles...
The only level that it stops me at is getting mail. The odd thing was yesterday it sent a couple of test emails I created last week. ODD!
Trying to get at least 75% of the capability out of this great technology.

If I click 'Sync' in iTunes on my iPod's page, will it save what apps I have, onto iTunes and then if I delete them on my iPod, will I have to pay for them again?

If you wish to transfer purchases from your iTunes library, you have to choose *File -> Transfer Purchases* with the iPod connected. They will not sync over to your iTunes library automatically.
And if they are stored in iTunes, you can safely delete them from your iPod Touch. Even if they aren't, both free and purchased Apps can be redownloaded again for free.

No, it´s not a Lion issue, it is a issue with ical. Google has stopped the hability to erase appointments from ical in order to correct a bug. Meanwhile I´m looking for alternatives to bypass this with another software. Do you have any idea?
