If I use my iPad2 to present presentations created in MS Powerpoint, will I retain the embedded videos and hyperlinks that were created in the original presentation

I want to use my iPad2 to make presentations created in MS Powerpoint. These have embedded videos, animations and hyperlinks. Will these all work in the spreadsheet if I use Keynote on my iPad to display and present them.

I have another problem.
I have deleted all apps from my iPhone 4s and then I have changed my
Apple ID's country information from Poland to United States.
After that, I have downloaded all deleted apps.
But only few are in 'Purchased' section on iPhone!
I guess only these, I have downloaded using USA App Store, not Polish.
I am getting frustrated, because I have got too many problems with iOS
and it doesn't look it will get better... Please help me ASAP! Thanks!

this will not work. Numbers does not provide a timestamp. you can, however, enter the formula "=now()" in any cell, then copy that same cell, then paste (using the command "Edit > Paste Formula Results"
If you need a time stamp often,
make a single cell table with the formula (mentioned earlier).

Sorry to say you are out of luck.
The serial numbers came on the cd case. If they are no longer there, you have no way of using the program except as a 30 day trial. Adobe does not sell CS5 licenses any more.

Yes, you should still be able to use your iPod Mini on your new Windows 7 PC. Simply download iTunes from Apple's website and you should be good to go. You don't need the original software that came with it anymore as it's now bundled with the iTunes application.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

IPad2 has been updated to iOS6 and will no longer play UTube favourites. These are favourites that have been previously viewed on iPad2 therefore I know the device is capable of playing them. This upgrade is no longer allowing me to use the device for the reason I bought it.

How do I retain the original file name when using Compressor?

I am in the process of doing a batch export and would like to keep everything identical to the source material, including the name. There is quite a bit of footage so deleting the "-Apple ProRes 422 for Progressive material" addition can be time consuming.
Any suggestions?

As was mentioned in the thread you linked to, the easiest way is to create a custom Destination. Here are some step-by-step instructions:
1. Click the Destinations tab.
2. Click the plus sign in the upper right and choose "Local..."

3. Navigate to or create your destination folder. Click "Open" to select the destination.
At this point, you've created a new custom destination. To select it, click the disclosure triangle next to the "Custom" folder. This is where all of your custom destinations are located.
4. Select the custom destination you want to use for your batch.
5. In the inspector, you'll see a box where you can change the "Output Filename Template". By default, it'll just have "Source File Name". If that's all you want, then press return.

Now, when you go back to your batch window and apply this custom destination to your job settings, Compressor will apply the Output Filename Template to your filenames. Basically, it will get rid of the setting name (as long as you only have "Source File Name" in the Filename Template.

Well, whenever I open a flash player, or something like that, most things that use flash player as a plugin, it freezes my firefox, and then, after awhile it may or may not say a script is causing problems yadda yadda.

If you are running Flash 11.3, try disabling the new protected mode, since that feature is currently being debugged. If both accounts are set up in Thunderbird, you can probably just drag-and-drop it from one account to another. Hold down control whilst doing so to make it a Copy rather than a Move, or use right-click and choose "Copy to…".
If you don't have both accounts in Thunderbird, you can send it by email. Forward it, or use "Edit As New", or use the Mail Redirect add-on.

If I use Time Machine to back up my internal hard drive will it back up VMWare Fusion and Windows Xp?

Apple tells me I need to back up my Seagate 1Tb HD so they can replace it I have just spent several days getting stuff onto it and don't want to re-install XP if I don't have to. VMWare Fusion is running XP (NOT on boot camp). Does Time Machine back up the whole thing?

I am assuming when you refer to the Seagate 1tb drive, you are referring to an internal drive on your Mac?
Time Machine will automatically back up your virtual machine if it is running on your Mac hard drive, unless you have excluded it in Time Machine Preferences. However beware, it will back up an entire copy every time you do anything with your virtual machine, and will rapidly eat up your backup drive space (I lost 6 months of backups doing this) so it is usually better to backup from within Windows to a separate drive.
Presumably you just want to do a one-off backup of the Virtual machine so you can restore it after the drive is replaced. If so, go to the Time machine Preferences pane in System Preferences and click the Options button. If your virtual machine is not listed in the excluded files list it will be automatically backed up. If it is listed, remove it from the list and run a manual backup (it will probably take quite a long time and you will need to make sure you have enough disk space on your backup drive). Then check your backup disk to ensure it is there. Then if you don't want it to backup lots of copies of the VM, go back into preferences and exclude it again.

In Pages alone, I am sadly missing text-to-table conversions and find and replace of white-space characters, among others. I had a running list going of features I can no longer find, but after about a dozen, I just got sad looking at it and threw it away. Is there anywhere to submit these concerns? Is there any chance Apple will respond with an update that replaces lost functionality?

You can submit Pages feedback to Apple. Just don’t expect any response. As this is a voluntary, user to user support community, Apple is neither here, nor do they reveal any future product plans to us. Although Apple has released a few updates to Pages v5, it still remains substantially limited, and any timeframe or commitment as to future updates, or content, is known solely by Apple.
